A Hoodwinking–a Punchy Skit

A Hoodwinking is one of MicP Studios’ earliest skits. It’s not the first, though. Mic decided not to post the first skit for very specific reasons. If you’re interested, you can visit MicP Studios and search for The Punchy Land’s Presidential Debate.

Thank you very much. Robin Hood: Prince of Punchy, Part 3 will be released a week from today.

After watching the skit, please answer the following question:

Who was your favorite character and why?

Now, A Hoodwinking:

WOW just what I was looking for. Came here by searching for twitter

I dunno. It’s a tie between Schwarz and Daddy Salami. Schwarz is so clueless and Daddy Salami is so slimy, but at least above board about it.

    • 4 Professor VJ Duke July 23, 2013 at 00:04

      You know them perfectly!

  3. 5 krugthethinker July 20, 2013 at 20:52

It’s so hard to decide who is my favorite! I have always had a soft spot for Ruber and his impossible tasks, but Daddy Salami is pretty great in this one too!

    • 6 Professor VJ Duke July 20, 2013 at 21:02

:) I know! Ruber always seems to get the impossible tasks! But, if Mr. Magi was in this one…

  4. 7 desertdweller29 July 20, 2013 at 18:25

This has a Game of Thrones meets Ten Apple Up on Top feel to it. Ruber is definitely the hero!

    • 8 Professor VJ Duke July 20, 2013 at 18:27

Thank you very much! Ruber has a profile under the Hut, if you’re interested. This professor is trying to produce a skit a week!

  5. 9 The Hook July 20, 2013 at 18:05

    Ruber rules!
    Thank you.

    • 10 Professor VJ Duke July 20, 2013 at 18:06

Thank you, Hook! He plays Rye of Gizzy in Robin Hood!

  6. 11 Jill London July 20, 2013 at 16:32

That was EPIC!! Schwarz would look like John Leguizamo 100%
The only problem now is I’ve gone right off my apple pie…

    • 12 Professor VJ Duke July 20, 2013 at 16:34

:D I’m so glad you enjoyed it! A new vid is posted every Friday. It definitely made me think twice about eating apple pie…

  7. 13 Sonya Solomonovich July 19, 2013 at 19:35

I like Schwarz, mainly for his style of talking.

    • 14 Professor VJ Duke July 19, 2013 at 19:44

I know! Doesn’t he have a strange linguistic style?

  8. 15 Jackie July 19, 2013 at 18:24

I didn’t have a favorite character because I’m feeling indecisive today.

    • 16 Professor VJ Duke July 19, 2013 at 18:37

I understand. This professor suffers from that all the time! ;)

      • 17 Jackie July 19, 2013 at 18:43

I knew there was something special about you! ;-)

      • 18 Professor VJ Duke July 19, 2013 at 18:46

:) Indecisiveness is such a good, professorish trait!

      • 19 FictionFan July 19, 2013 at 21:07

        Are you sure?

      • 20 Professor VJ Duke July 19, 2013 at 21:09

        Uhh…well…of course…I mean…umm…well…no.

  9. 21 FictionFan July 19, 2013 at 12:51

Now, see, I’d vote for Fats Henry over the tax policies, but Schwarz gets my vote over the aliens – sending them an e-mail is a brilliant idea! But of course, neither of them should win…

    Daddy Salami for President!!!

    • 22 Professor VJ Duke July 19, 2013 at 13:46

      Oh, what a scary thought!

Of course, though, I agree. I wouldn’t vote for either candidate. Mr. Magi might make a good president. But he’d tend to be a bit too controlling.

      I know! The professor!

      • 23 FictionFan July 19, 2013 at 14:27

I’d need to know your policy on dealing with alien invasions before promising my vote.

    • 24 Professor VJ Duke July 19, 2013 at 14:58

I’d trick them into peace negotiations and then fall upon and murder the unsuspecting lot!

      • 25 FictionFan July 19, 2013 at 15:04

Well, how terribly American! Yes, you clearly are presidential material… ;)

      • 26 Professor VJ Duke July 19, 2013 at 15:32

 Maybe Twainish, or a bit like…Daddy Salami?

      • 27 FictionFan July 19, 2013 at 16:24

Twain is like Daddy Salami?? Man-o-thunder, that explains a lot!

I think I’ve worked out why you only appear sometimes in my Great Posts widget – it seems to only show posts that include a picture…I think.

      • 28 Professor VJ Duke July 19, 2013 at 16:52

        I suppose so. Though Salami’s wilder–and crazier.

        Ah, that make sense!

  10. 29 FictionFan July 19, 2013 at 12:42

Oh, that Daddy Salami is so sneaky! Ruber was going to get the award for being my favourite this time, right up till Daddy Salami started the evil chuckling – he’s so cool!

I think you made a mistake though – the word is autumn. ;)

    • 30 Professor VJ Duke July 19, 2013 at 13:44

I know. Salami’s definitely a beast! His laughing is unnerving.

Maybe I should’ve spelled fall like this: faull.

      • 31 FictionFan July 19, 2013 at 14:27

        Better than atmn, I suppose…

      • 32 Professor VJ Duke July 19, 2013 at 14:57

  11. 33 Elina July 19, 2013 at 12:19

A great skit. Music is cool! I wonder what’s with the apples. Will it continue? I like Ruber the most, for his positive attitude and he seems honest :)

    • 34 Professor VJ Duke July 19, 2013 at 13:40

Thank you. No continuation, though. Only Ruber and Salami would try to sell rotten apples! But you’re right: Ruber took everything rather well.

      • 35 Elina July 22, 2013 at 11:25

Oh them, selling rotten apples. I will look forward to some other skit then :)

      • 36 Professor VJ Duke July 22, 2013 at 11:26

Yes, it is just like those two to try something mean like that! Robin Hood Part 3 this Friday!

Say something...anything...O Punchy Family!
