No wonder the Professor is ready to do battle over pink! That scientist is a trouble maker!

    • 2 Professor VJ Duke July 1, 2014 at 12:46

He is! But do you suppose he has a sweet side overall?

      • 3 Lisa July 1, 2014 at 14:14

Well, I’m new to the punchy lands and I have limited information. It’s hard to imagine. It’s possible since Zez disapproves of him and Zez is said to be so evil. He also had a sense of humor with the voice change over as the reaction to the pink potion and the fact that the potion was pink. I think it would be a stretch and there would need to be a catalyst to bring it out in him. It would be very easy to cheese it out too. A delicate hand would be needed. Maybe if I had more information on him I could help more.

      • 4 Professor VJ Duke July 1, 2014 at 21:20

*laughing* Wow! You perfectly got that straight, tell you what. You’re right on, for sure. I think you’re right. Scientist would need someone to “help” him learn the sweet side of things. Perhaps it could start with a lollypop?

      • 5 Lisa July 1, 2014 at 22:11

Well, what characters are available to work with? I think there are only two prominent females and one is married and one is described as old but timeless. And she seems to be described as… well. .. not quite… sweet.
Maybe the scientist could make a lollipop that does something really cool and he could drop it while going to visit someone and then a mysterious character could find it. (Just off the top of my head.)

      • 6 Professor VJ Duke July 2, 2014 at 13:31

Well, there are many female characters. I just haven’t listed them all there. Just the main PL characters. *laughing* I think you’re referring to Morgan?

That’s a great idea! Do you think I should look into it?

      • 7 Lisa July 2, 2014 at 13:50

I would suppose you have endless characters. That would be completely up to you if you wanted to write such a story. Did you have an idea of where you wanted to go with the scientist? It would be extremely hilarious to confound him. Seeing as scientists always want everything orderly and all. Have a trouble maker trouble the trouble maker. I think it would be funny….

      • 8 Professor VJ Duke July 2, 2014 at 13:56

*laughing* It is a great idea. I like how well you understood Scientist. You know, I didn’t even understand him fully, but you’re quite right: he likes everything ordered. Now…maybe if Schwarz messed up his life? Great idea!

      • 9 Lisa July 2, 2014 at 13:58

Hahaha! Perfect. Absolutely perfect. I shall look forward to it. I’m happy to be of service to you. *bows* :)

      • 10 Professor VJ Duke July 2, 2014 at 21:47

*bows* The pleasure is mind, truly! Sometimes I get lost with all of it, you know.

      • 11 Lisa July 2, 2014 at 21:53

I would be glad to lend a helping hand anytime I am able. :)

      • 12 Professor VJ Duke July 2, 2014 at 22:01

That’s perfect! I’ll keep it in mind, and maybe steal a proverb from you for the PL Reporter some time, if you’d like!

      • 13 Lisa July 2, 2014 at 22:04

Just let me know and I’ll do my best. :)

      • 14 Professor VJ Duke July 3, 2014 at 20:11

Well, that’s just awesome! I’ll probably do that story next week. And…you’re welcome to send a proverb for Monday’s issue!

      • 15 Lisa July 3, 2014 at 20:17

I’ll think on it and see if I can’t come up with something punchy. Where should I send it?

      • 16 Professor VJ Duke July 3, 2014 at 20:45

Do you have my email? (micpencilpoint@gmail.com) That’d be fine.

Don’t worry about it if you can’t either!

      • 17 Lisa July 3, 2014 at 20:54

I’ll come up with something. Is there a theme? Lines, rules, regulations? Lol

      • 18 Professor VJ Duke July 4, 2014 at 17:37

*laughing* No! And you did just fine. Thank you!

      • 19 Lisa July 3, 2014 at 23:47

        Nm. Sent.

      • 20 Professor VJ Duke July 4, 2014 at 17:41

        And thank you!

      • 21 Lisa July 4, 2014 at 21:29

        Welcome!

      • 22 Professor VJ Duke July 6, 2014 at 18:21

        *bows*

  2. 23 erinkenobi2893 April 11, 2014 at 21:31

I don’t drink pink stuff anyway. I’m allergic to food coloring. Nyah! Can’t get me, Scientist! X-P

    • 24 Professor VJ Duke April 11, 2014 at 22:49

*laughing! You know, that would be really cool. Now do you suppose Anakin would drink it?

      • 25 erinkenobi2893 April 12, 2014 at 00:57

Oh, definitely. He doesn’t see bright-colored and immediately think “poisonous” like Obi-Wan and I do. *thoughtfully* Though, he winds up eating grass a lot anyway, so about all it would do was make him squeaky. :-P Still, that’s well worth doing to Anakin! >:-D

      • 26 Professor VJ Duke April 14, 2014 at 12:50

*laughing* It is! I’d love to see him more squeakier than he is already!

      • 27 erinkenobi2893 April 14, 2014 at 18:16

        *rolls on floor laughing*
Anakin is grumpy. He told me that Obi-Wan sounds squeaky anyway (?!), and that “more squeakier” is not good grammar… *claps* Figured that out on your own, Anakin, did you? And about Obi-Wan–he is a tenor. NOT squeaky.

      • 28 Professor VJ Duke April 14, 2014 at 18:33

Haha! But I think it may be professorish grammar. You sure Obi-Wan isn’t an alto?

      • 29 erinkenobi2893 April 15, 2014 at 22:33

In opera terms, maybe. But in four-part–he’s a tenor. ;-P In opera, it’s different.
His voice might not have the same resonance as Qui-Gon’s, but it’s at least not reedy (like Lydia in Pride and Prejudice… *shudders* She was truly hard on the ears…)

      • 30 Professor VJ Duke April 16, 2014 at 01:09

        I see. Well!

        (She was! What a thingy!)

      • 31 erinkenobi2893 April 16, 2014 at 22:35

        I’m very into music. :-P
(IKR?! *gags her with duct tape* Ah, duct tape. The wonderful material with a light side and a dark side that binds the galaxy together. :-P)

      • 32 Professor VJ Duke April 17, 2014 at 16:06

Very true. We should put her in a closet while we’re at it, too.

      • 33 erinkenobi2893 April 17, 2014 at 17:41

*shoves her in a closet with a broom, then pushes a chair up against the door. X-D*

      • 34 Professor VJ Duke April 18, 2014 at 15:44

        *superglues the door too*

      • 35 erinkenobi2893 April 18, 2014 at 17:03

        Good plan. X-D

      • 36 Professor VJ Duke April 18, 2014 at 17:37

        *smiles*

      • 37 erinkenobi2893 April 18, 2014 at 22:26

        *grins*

      • 38 erinkenobi2893 April 18, 2014 at 17:03

I hope you don’t keep saws in there?

      • 39 Professor VJ Duke April 18, 2014 at 17:39

Do you think she’d cut out?

      • 40 erinkenobi2893 April 18, 2014 at 22:27

        She might. I don’t know. 0_0

      • 41 Professor VJ Duke April 21, 2014 at 13:03

I bet she isn’t strong enough.

      • 42 erinkenobi2893 April 21, 2014 at 16:51

Probably not. Come on, let’s go get some coffee, or tea, or cocoa, or something. ;-)
(By the way, I noticed that the DON’T LOOK! page is gone… what happened to it?! 0_0)

      • 43 Professor VJ Duke April 21, 2014 at 21:05

        Okay! Let’s.

(It’s been replaced by the START HERE page which holds the Punchy trailer now.)

      • 44 erinkenobi2893 April 21, 2014 at 21:31

        Oh! :-)
*goes out to get iced tea with no sweetener* Ahhh… that’s refreshing.

      • 45 Professor VJ Duke April 22, 2014 at 13:52

Ooo, I could go for some!

      • 46 erinkenobi2893 April 22, 2014 at 14:42

*hands you some iced tea* Do you like it unsweetened, like I do, or with sugar?

      • 47 Professor VJ Duke April 23, 2014 at 00:24

With sugar, I think. But then again, on a hot day after working out a bit, without sugar is so refreshing!

      • 48 erinkenobi2893 April 23, 2014 at 12:58

Indeed. I don’t know why, but I don’t like added sugar in anything cold. Sugar is fine in lemonade, to an extent, and if it’s natural in juice, that’s all well and good. But I don’t like adding extra. Maybe it goes along with me preferring dark chocolate?

      • 49 Professor VJ Duke April 23, 2014 at 18:36

Maybe so. You might like things with a bit less sugar. I kinda agree about sugar in cold drinks. It’s dadblamery trying to stir it in.

      • 50 erinkenobi2893 April 23, 2014 at 19:08

X-P True! I mostly only like sugar if it’s in cold soda. :-P

      • 51 Professor VJ Duke April 24, 2014 at 14:08

        Here, here!

      • 52 erinkenobi2893 April 24, 2014 at 14:13

And even then, not much. :-P Soda is okay once or twice, but I wouldn’t like it often.

      • 53 Professor VJ Duke April 24, 2014 at 15:01

Yes, very rarely. The professor isn’t a big drinker of soda.

      • 54 erinkenobi2893 April 24, 2014 at 15:32

Me neither. I don’t even have ginger ale or fruit juices/nectars often. I like tea better…

      • 55 Professor VJ Duke April 24, 2014 at 22:58

        But cherry juice is good…

      • 56 erinkenobi2893 April 24, 2014 at 23:01

Mmmm… never had it. If it’s real cherry juice, I guess. But I can’t stand artificial cherry flavoring.

      • 57 Professor VJ Duke April 24, 2014 at 23:29

You should like everything cherry. A real Sith does, you know.

      • 58 erinkenobi2893 April 24, 2014 at 23:32

Ah, but I’m not a Sith. I like everything mint. :-P And raspberry… and chocolate… and lemon… and vanilla… *looks around guiltily*
Artificial cherry flavoring tastes like medicine to me. Ewww. But I love eating cherries! Mmmm… Even when they’re not ripe.

      • 59 Professor VJ Duke April 24, 2014 at 23:39

And cherry! I must convince you somehow.

        Wowawee for sure!

      • 60 erinkenobi2893 April 24, 2014 at 23:56

        :-P

  3. 61 krugthethinker September 28, 2013 at 14:46

Hahaha! Well, we all like to see Daddy Salami taken down a notch or two, don’t we, especially if it’s only temporary:)

    • 62 Professor VJ Duke September 28, 2013 at 16:26

Yes, I think he could have deserved that…

  4. 63 sonya solomonovich September 20, 2013 at 21:52

Gotta love the voices. I’ve watched so many of these that I’m tempted to call people “turtle-curs” in real life:)

    • 64 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 22:13

Thank you! :D That’s find. I think it’s a great insult. Was the scientist scary?

      • 65 sonya solomonovich September 21, 2013 at 23:40

Is the professor very much against being seen?

Oh, and the scientist wasn’t very scary. Though sometimes I do find scientists scary in general…

      • 66 Professor VJ Duke September 23, 2013 at 00:06

        No. But it would be…interesting…

I agree. Scientist can be quite creepy; this one was just Punchyish.

    • 67 weggieboy September 21, 2013 at 21:28

Ha! Ha! I know what you mean!

      • 68 weggieboy September 21, 2013 at 21:30

(My comment was in response to sonya solomnovich’s comment…)

As for the Professor, this definitely had high entertainment value, plus I liked how it ended. As the 1950s sci fi movies would have it, “The End?”

      • 69 Professor VJ Duke September 21, 2013 at 23:34

        :D That’s neat, I think.

      • 70 Professor VJ Duke September 21, 2013 at 23:34

Many thanks! Well, in fact, this is not the end! You will hear more about Scientist and potion in up-coming skits!

      • 71 sonya solomonovich September 21, 2013 at 23:37

Cool! Maybe we should have a Punchy Family convention one day where we go around calling each other turtle-cur.

      • 72 Professor VJ Duke September 21, 2013 at 23:38

That would be awesome! A Punchy Family Convention. Of course, though, then you’d have to see the professor…

  5. 73 Anja September 20, 2013 at 21:35

Ha…pink AND bubbly? Who could resist?

    • 74 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 22:12

The professor probably would–now that he thinks about it! You mean you’d drink it?

      • 75 Anja September 20, 2013 at 22:36

Mmmmm why not? Maybe find me a portal into Punchy Land so I can live there :)
        Btw…..story is just about done….

      • 76 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 22:42

But what if it changed your voice so that you sounded like scientist?

        Awesome! Eagerly anticipating!

      • 77 Anja September 20, 2013 at 22:43

You don’t even know what my voice sounds like!!! Maybe I already sound like him….

and…this is the first part. I realized it was getting terribly long…

      • 78 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 22:45

        The professor does know!

The longer the better. I like when posts are longer. :D

      • 79 Anja September 20, 2013 at 22:46

ha you do NOT know…if so how?

        Well…it will be a few stories…maybe 3????

      • 80 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 23:56

The professor knows all things! And he’s sure you don’t sound like Scientist!

        Or 4!

      • 81 Anja September 20, 2013 at 23:58

Well, maybe I don’t sound quite like the Scientist….although I was rather sick last week. :(

        4?? Oh my

      • 82 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 23:59

        Are you feeling better?

Well, as many as you can. :D

      • 83 Anja September 21, 2013 at 00:02

I am feeling some what better. I need to feel really good…have long bike riding event tomorrow. UGH Silly kids share their germs too easily.

I really have no idea how many….just letting it unfold. :)

      • 84 Professor VJ Duke September 21, 2013 at 00:04

Good luck with you ride tomorrow. The professor abhors colds.

        And that’s fine.

      • 85 Anja September 21, 2013 at 00:05

        Thank you

        and

        thank you :P

      • 86 Professor VJ Duke September 21, 2013 at 00:06

        :D

      • 87 Anja September 21, 2013 at 00:07

        hahahahaha :D

  6. 88 Simply Skeptical September 20, 2013 at 21:01

Professor! Oh my! How blind these punchies are. I’m with Manly Man; stay away from the pink bubbly it’s too mysterious. Better safe than sorry. Of course, If those sillies are willing to gamble; I’m willing to see the results… :-)

    • 89 Professor VJ Duke September 21, 2013 at 00:10

Always count on the PL’ers to do the crazy thing! And the results shall be seen!

  7. 90 Jackie September 20, 2013 at 20:25

That was Punchy good fun! Will we be hearing more from the Scientist?

    • 91 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 20:44

Punchalicious! ;) Would you like to hear more? The professor was planning on doing a few sequels…

      • 92 Jackie September 20, 2013 at 21:53

Oh yes – I would love to. I can’t decide if he is a mad scientist who needs guinea pigs to test his mad creations or if he is doing a study on how gullible people are when they think something will improve them. I mean no one seemed interested until the Scientist made all those claims about what his pink bubbly stuff did for them.

      • 93 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 22:14

Very true. A good point. The sequels should clear mostly everything up!

      • 94 Jackie September 20, 2013 at 23:09

        Awesome! 8-)

      • 95 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 23:56

  8. 96 Topaz September 20, 2013 at 19:46

The more I visit this site, the Punchier I feel!

That’s a good thing, right, Professor?

    • 97 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 20:43

That’s an awesome thing!!! Do you like the feeling?

      • 98 Topaz September 20, 2013 at 22:08

I love the feeling. It ranks way up there between Xanax and skinny dipping.

      • 99 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 22:22

Awesome! Do you have a favorite PL character (or person)? I’m sure this could change with time.

  9. 100 Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister September 20, 2013 at 19:20

So many talents… I would have been first in line to drink the bubbly.

    • 101 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 19:38

So many Punchy talents, you mean. ;) Really? What if it had destroyed your voice?

      • 102 Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister September 20, 2013 at 19:44

The Punchiest of talents. Yes. The fear of regret will always convience me to try and I have a feeling the Professor would have saved those of us who, couldn’t resist the temptation.

      • 103 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 20:42

I see what you’re saying. The potion looked good to, probably. And, of course the professor would save you! (Even if he had to have help from Mr. Magi!)

  10. 104 Uzoma September 20, 2013 at 17:27

The voice is wonderful. And the sound effect just takes my breath away.

    • 105 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 19:34

Many thanks! I hope you found the video very Punchy indeed!

  11. 106 ladycheetah7 September 20, 2013 at 15:57

Manly is so funny. Nobody is manly like he is. I think Daddy Salami loves to get in trouble and make trouble. Too funny.I have to go into a meeting but this is definitely something I will listen to this evening. By the way love the new editions. :-)

    • 107 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 16:27

Absolutely not! He’s the manliest. :)

Thank you! Definitely let me know what you think of the scientist…

      • 108 ladycheetah7 September 21, 2013 at 18:30

The scientist is creepy. Kind of reminds me of someine disguising their voice when they call for a ransom. ***jaws theme**

      • 109 Professor VJ Duke September 21, 2013 at 21:06

 I definitely make that connection! He’ll be back–for more…

  12. 110 technophile9 September 20, 2013 at 15:21

Hmm, the scientist seemed slightly creepy to me. I have a feeling he was someone we’ve met before, someone who would want to ridicule Salami, but not kill him.

On the other hand, he could just be a door to door salesman. It could go in either a comedic or creepy direction. It’s your choice really. ;)

    • 111 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 16:27

      Ah, very interesting thought!

      @ door to door!

There will be a sequel, so we’ll see!

  13. 112 Hazy September 20, 2013 at 14:47

    Oh chicky yeah!

I love the bubbly sound. I don’t blame them for trying to drink it.

    • 113 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 14:48

That’s good old Schwarz for you!

You mean, you would have drunk it?

      • 114 Hazy September 20, 2013 at 14:53

I dunno… if it looked drinkable and yummy… my hazy brain might trick me.

      • 115 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 16:26

 The professor probably would have drunk it too! And then…look where we’d be!

      • 116 Professor VJ Duke September 23, 2013 at 00:09

*high five back* Probably very tasty!

    • 117 Hazy September 22, 2013 at 09:49

 *high five* Now, I wonder what it would have tasted like.

  14. 118 deanthefish September 20, 2013 at 14:44

This story was so beautiful it made me cry :(

    • 119 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 14:45

      Cry?

      • 120 deanthefish September 20, 2013 at 14:54

        No.

      • 121 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 16:25

I don’t understand you, Mr. Fish.

  15. 122 colliebrookcrossing September 20, 2013 at 14:24

Now I need to rush home so I can watch this on the big glowy thing!

    • 123 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 14:40

Awesome! Let me know if you feel Punchy after watching it!

  16. 124 The Dancing Rider September 20, 2013 at 14:14

Music is so perfect for this. DS was so funny with the “son’s cooking” comment…..and then how he wanted to drink the potion. And then his changed voice, HA HA!

The ending was the best part. :)

    • 125 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 14:39

DS probably wished he didn’t drink it! I think he was quite angry.

Thank you! What did you think of the scientist?

      • 126 The Dancing Rider September 20, 2013 at 14:40

Ha, ha, it serves him right for pushing that “option” at his table. But we all knew he *had* to, because that’s how he is!

The scientist is very interesting. Could he be P. VJ in disguise??????

      • 127 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 14:42

 Yes, he’s such a beast.

Now what would make you say that?

      • 128 The Dancing Rider September 20, 2013 at 14:48

Just mulling possibilities. Something I love to do. Perhaps because he could see how various PL denizens reacted?

Though, truly, I doubt the Professor would do that.

The Scientist serves as a vague Greek chorus, doesn’t he? I thought it was hySTERIcal when he knocked on the door of those who had just dissed DS. I suspected they might find the potion … attractive … and delicious-looking! :)

      • 129 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 16:25

No, the professor’s too sweet to do that! ;)

There will be a sequel, so you’ll get to see!

  17. 130 L. Marie September 20, 2013 at 14:12

Pink juice! And Daddy Salami jolting! Love the sound effects and the music as usual. I hope the Scientist shows up and offers me some pink potion.

    • 131 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 14:38

Awesome! Thanks! You mean you would drink it if he did???

      • 132 deanthefish September 20, 2013 at 14:52

Ahh, and you are the professor… truly a wonder!

      • 133 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 16:24

        ==]:-{)=

      • 134 L. Marie September 20, 2013 at 18:06

I already have! I feel stronger! Or perhaps that’s indigestion.

      • 135 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 19:34

        Was it sweet?

    • 136 deanthefish September 20, 2013 at 14:43

Symphonist Sepperl thanks you for the compliments, I am sure!!

      • 137 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 14:45

You are Sepperl! Take the credit, Mr. Fish. You’re truly amazing.

      • 138 deanthefish September 20, 2013 at 14:54

I give up trying to figure out how these comments work… mine rarely appear where I want them. Between the skit, and the wonder, and the frustration, it’s enough to make one….

      • 139 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 16:23

        Don’t worry about it!

  18. 140 Susan P September 20, 2013 at 13:42

This just keeps getting better and better. Sound effects rock. DS kind of sounded like he had inhaled helium gas. What next?

    • 141 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 14:38

Many thanks! :D Well, this is the first The Pink Potion series…I think. Did you think the scientist creepy or Punchyish?

      • 142 Susan P September 20, 2013 at 18:25

Definitely Punchyish, but in a fussy scientist sort of way. You know? Does the pink potion taste like Pepto Bismol?

      • 143 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 19:36

        Yes, I definitely know!

Ooo, I hope not. Salami didn’t really say how it tasted, did he? I bet it’s better than Pepto Bismol. Personally, the professor wouldn’t drink it. I fear that it could do strange things to one’s voice.

      • 144 Susan P September 21, 2013 at 14:35

It might even give you a Donald Duck voice. :D

      • 145 Professor VJ Duke September 21, 2013 at 14:48

Wouldn’t that be horrid! Hmm…but I guess it could be neat too…

  19. 146 FictionFan September 20, 2013 at 12:59

 I loved his new voice! Especially his chuckle – didn’t sound quite so evil, though, somehow! And an ‘Oh, no, no, no,no!’ from my favourite chafafah! Wonderful!

    • 147 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 14:35

 I think Salami was quite stunned by it himself! Fancy him being worried about Ruber. I’m curious: what did you think of the scientist?

      • 148 FictionFan September 20, 2013 at 14:55

At first I thought he was Ruber in disguise trying a new way to murder Salami. But the fact that the potion wasn’t lethal forced me to change my mind. The strange echoey voice…I had to wonder if he is in fact an alien…which is a strange concept – that an alien should be visiting the Punchies who are themselves alien…all very surreal. So then I stopped thinking and had an ice-lolly instead…

      • 149 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 16:23

 You know the characters better than the professor, FEF! Dadblameit, I want and ice-lolly…

Well…you’ll get to hear Scientist again. :)

      • 150 FictionFan September 20, 2013 at 18:32

Characters? I’m not at all sure Daddy Salami would appreciate being called a character! You should get Mr Butterfield to open up an ice-lolly factory. Note: NOT Ruber!!! Fish-flavoured ice-lollies have never been best-sellers…

        Next week?

      • 151 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 19:37

I think he already makes popsicles… Yucketh! Definitely not fish! The professor suddenly feels nauseous.

Have fish ice lollies ever been sold?

Well, not exactly. Next week is supposed to be a Olmes. Which would you rather?

      • 152 FictionFan September 20, 2013 at 19:51

Popsicles just aren’t as good though… you can get ice-lollies that are shaped like a rocket and have three different flavours in them (and colours).

 Not unless Ruber’s managed to buy the franchise…

Olmes!!! Go on, give FEF a clue, C-W-W! Which story? I promise I won’t tell anyone. Is my chafafah in it?

      • 153 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 20:44

        Nice! What flavors?

 You might get things even worse!!!

Well, it’s not decided yet. One you would like to see in particular?

      • 154 FictionFan September 20, 2013 at 21:24

        Strawberry, lemon and orange usually…

        Mmm…chicken&bean flavour…my favourite!

The Red-Headed League! Though whatever the Professor decides will be fine with FF – so long as Schwarzy gets a starring role… ;)

      • 155 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 22:12

Sounds really good! Too bad they don’t have a cherry…

        Is there a sick smiley?

Well, I can’t promise Schwarz. It depends. He will, though, be a major character in the upcoming mini-series. :D

      • 156 FictionFan September 20, 2013 at 23:14

Must admit that, like you said about the popsicles, the flavours all taste pretty much the same – orange mostly. But still yummy…

        ?

Oh well, a girl can’t have everything I suppose (though I’ve never really understood why not…) At least I’m guaranteed a Salami chuckle or two and the fab Olmes music… :D

        Which upcoming mini-series? Les Miz?

      • 157 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 23:57

I like that green face lots.

You didn’t watch my professorish speech, did you? Naughty FF. Your Chfa (however you spell that dadblame thing) is going to be the star…

      • 158 FictionFan September 21, 2013 at 00:21

I watched it all! But I admit that during the second half I had my eyes closed and my fingers in my ears…

Yay! And what a star he’ll be. Could you…would you…do you think you could get me his autograph, dear C-W-W?

      • 159 Professor VJ Duke September 21, 2013 at 00:57

The burning was Albuquerque’s idea. And I think you would have approved of the book in question. The professor has never physically burnt or ripped a book, you know.

        Wouldn’t I need your address?

      • 160 FictionFan September 21, 2013 at 01:37

        Uh-huh…

My new address do you mean? FictionFan, The Hut Just Outside Prince John’s Palace, Scotland, Punchy Lands… sorry don’t know the postcode*

        *zipcode

      • 161 Professor VJ Duke September 21, 2013 at 14:10

That’s funny. I thought you lived IN the palace…

      • 162 FictionFan September 21, 2013 at 18:55

Not yet…but once the people of Punchy Scotland rise up and reclaim independence, then the tyrant Prince John will be imprisoned in the deepest dungeon and forced to eat Ruber’s chicken’n’beans until King Arthur pays a massive ransom – five years supply of chocolate and ice-lollies. Meantime the Punchy-Scots will declare me Empress of the North, install me in a newly-refurbished palace (with an extension to house the ransom) and throw a huge ball to celebrate, at which Empress FF will be expected to select any partner of her choosing for the first dance – the cotillion! The Professor might want to start practising…

But until that glorious day arrives, The Hut will have to do…

      • 163 Professor VJ Duke September 21, 2013 at 21:13

You never even met Prince John! This is wickedness!

Well, what if Arthur invaded with his knights–Daddy Salami in the lead?!

But the professor can’t dance. And he won’t dance. Ah! Wouldn’t you rather Schwarz?

      • 164 FictionFan September 21, 2013 at 22:40

If he’s the stooge of the King of England, then he deserves all he gets!

Do you really think the Empress of Scotland is going to be scared by a chuckling sausage???

When the Empress says you’ll dance, then you’ll dance…or else it’s the dungeons for you too, and I’ll give Ruber my special haggis recipe…just for you! What you fail to understand is that Schwarzy may be my favourite chafafah, but the Professor is my favourite C-W-W…

      • 165 Professor VJ Duke September 21, 2013 at 23:36

No, I suppose not. Unless, of course, the chuckling sausage carried live moths…

You’d throw the professor in the dungeons if he didn’t dance with you?

It really makes me wonder…what is the difference between a C-W-W and a chafafah?

      • 166 FictionFan September 22, 2013 at 14:45

 But the chuckling sausage would only know about the moths if the Professor told him – and you wouldn’t do that to me, would you, sweet C-W-W? My elite troops will of course be carrying knives…and forks.

        Well, you did promise…

It’s really quite simple – there are loads of chafafahs in the world (the Professor is of course one) but there’s only one Chicky-Woot-Woot – unique, in oh so many ways! ;)

      • 167 Professor VJ Duke September 23, 2013 at 00:08

Forks?  Of course I wouldn’t tell…

        I forget.

        Now I feel special..

      • 168 deanthefish September 21, 2013 at 00:12

Don’t wag your upper lip at me young man!!

    • 169 deanthefish September 20, 2013 at 21:40

I just HAD to mention we have tri-color rocket popsicles here as well. And the colors: red, white, and blue!

      • 170 FictionFan September 20, 2013 at 22:04

Wow! How patriotic! That almost makes me want to visit America – the thought of not being able to get a decent ice-lolly has always put me off. What flavour is the blue section?

      • 171 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 22:15

Unfortunately, if the professor recalls correctly, all the flavors taste the same… Isn’t that right, Mr. Fish?

      • 172 FictionFan September 20, 2013 at 23:21

(He’s probably terribly upset by all my thoughtless talk about fish-flavoured ones…)

      • 173 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 23:58

        (I think you’re right.)

      • 174 deanthefish September 20, 2013 at 23:36

No, I like fish, hence the name…. well about flavors… I have absolutely no idea. Perhaps VJD. is right. I really don’t like ice lo— good gracious! I almost said… anyway…. I don’t like popsicles. But I just looked it up: Cherry, Lemon, and Blue Raspberry. :)

      • 175 Professor VJ Duke September 20, 2013 at 23:58

        Hence the name? Goodness!

      • 176 FictionFan September 21, 2013 at 00:06

Well, no wonder you don’t like them, if the red bit is cherry-flavoured. Perhaps you could get the government to change the flag to orange, white and blue…much nicer! (I’m not sure FF believes there is such a thing as a blue raspberry…)

    • 177 deanthefish September 21, 2013 at 00:08

Blue raspberry fruit no… but surely you’ve had the flavoring before, in candy??

      • 178 FictionFan September 21, 2013 at 00:29

        Hmm…not that I’m aware of…maybe it’s a strictly American thing. Like candy…

I think you should send me a giant box of American sweets so I can experience all these new things… or get me an invite to the Butterfield factories as a guest taster… ;)

    • 179 deanthefish September 21, 2013 at 00:42

Well then… we have something you don’t! You’ve never had the pleasure of having your entire mouth stained blue by a greenish blue sweet. How much you’ve missed!

      • 180 deanthefish September 21, 2013 at 00:46

OK, another thing I’ve just looked up… blue raspberry comes from the whitebark raspberry plant and it is native to N. America. We are truly privileged! And now you know why the blue in our flag!

      • 181 FictionFan September 21, 2013 at 01:29

 or should that be

But then we have haggis… a dish even Ruber might shudder to produce…

    • 182 deanthefish September 21, 2013 at 02:31

The latter. Haggis sounds truly terrifying but I wouldn’t put anything past Ruber. The professor has told me things that…. make blue lollipops and whatever haggis is seem desirable.

Say something...anything...O Punchy Family!
