A very interesting and amusing interview! (even though Manly gets mumbly at times) Thanks for asking MM those questions.

Chocolates, yum! Rocky road chocolate ice cream with cashews and choco fudge is good.

Does the professor have a beard? Don’t follow Manly’s advice, don’t grow it too long (goatees look nice).

Weatherly and I do not approve of the bath tub incident. I hope the lawsuit would be fair for everyone.

Beef steaks and toast for breakfast? A bit weird indeed. The professor’s reaction was priceless. :D

    • 2 Professor VJ Duke December 7, 2013 at 20:37

No problem! I know: He’s so hard to understand at times…

That does sound awesome! I bet Weatherly likes it, too.

No, I actually don’t. Doesn’t Hazy like beards?

Do you think MM should be fined?

 Totally caught me off guard!

      • 3 Hazy December 8, 2013 at 04:18

Yes, he does! He gets all messy when eating chocolates.

Oh, I do like beards. But not Gandalf long! A goatee, something like Tony Stark’s in Ironman or unshaven for a few days. I think it looks ruggedly handsome on certain people.

Absolutely! MM should be fined. It was terribly mean, what he did.

      • 4 Professor VJ Duke December 9, 2013 at 15:01

        Haha!

I think it can too–despite the opposition!

I do think I agree with you, Hazy..

  2. 5 L. Marie November 25, 2013 at 15:23

Loved the interview with MM. You showed grace, though MM insulted you. Hopefully your revenge will take the form of red ants (if there are any in your area) added to MM’s house. Just a thought. Anyway, I was glad to learn more about MM and his manliness.

    • 6 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 18:30

 The professor would love to use red ants! You must ship some, since I don’t have any in the area.

  3. 7 The Dancing Rider November 23, 2013 at 21:27

MM has quite an interesting voice. Not sure about how “manly” it is, lol! He is very hard to understand. Probably for a reason ;-) Of course, he doesn’t speak English, so …..

    Sound effects were fun :).

Thank you, Professor, for asking my questions. Ha Ha on his explanation regarding his name. I loved how he said he could dance really well. HA HA. Later on he said he was kind of a disco dancer. Yikes!

Oh, and how rude he was to the Professor!

Oddly, I became accustomed to MM’s voice as the interview went on, and I could understand him quite clearly by the end. The Professor did a great job on this interview……. One can only take so much of MM being manly! LOL!

    • 8 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 23:35

 It isn’t manly! It’s rather strange. (Don’t tell him I said that!) That’s his dadblame excuse, “I’s don’t speaky English.” What a bugger.

      Thanks!

Yikes indeed! (My pleasure to ask your questions.) I really couldn’t imagine MM dancing like that…

He was! And wasn’t the professor sweet? ;)

 I agree! Manly this and that–gets vexing!

      • 9 The Dancing Rider November 24, 2013 at 00:02

It will be our secret that MM’s “language” isn’t very manly – what with his dadblamed excuse!

        The professor was sweet. ;-)

And I find MM QUITE vexing! :)

      • 10 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 22:55

Thank yous! (Many of them, too.)

Only sometimes. He’s quite ferocious usually, you know.

        Not sweet, I suppose?

  4. 11 Jackie November 23, 2013 at 01:24

Great interview, Professor! Although MM is very difficult to understand I still enjoyed it. BTW did you know that November 22nd is National Cashew Day? Happy Cashew Day! :-D

    • 12 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 01:46

Many thanks, Jackie! He is. Mumbling all the time, dadblameit!

I did not! How neatio. Are you going to celebrate by eating a few?

      • 13 Jackie November 23, 2013 at 02:05

        Already did! ;-)

      • 14 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:01

        The professor is behind!

      • 15 Jackie November 23, 2013 at 03:02

Think of how much fun it will be to catch up! 8-)

      • 16 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:07

        Very true!

    • 17 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 02:16

I noticed that myself. I think he does it on purpose when he’s up to some dadblamery.

      • 18 Jackie November 23, 2013 at 02:18

If no one understands you then they can’t figure out if you’re up to something!

      • 19 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 02:19

        too too true

      • 20 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:04

The professor must needs employ this technique.

      • 21 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 13:45

The Professor is already an expert a this skill.

      • 22 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 23:28

I am? No the professor isn’t!

      • 23 Susan P November 24, 2013 at 01:51

        So says the Professor.

      • 24 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 23:02

        Yes, I do!

      • 25 Susan P November 25, 2013 at 12:51

        Hear hear!

      • 26 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 18:28

        Huff-Hum!

      • 27 Susan P November 25, 2013 at 23:23

        laughing

      • 28 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 23:25

        !

      • 29 Susan P November 25, 2013 at 23:30

        !!!!!

      • 30 Professor VJ Duke November 26, 2013 at 13:58

        Huff-Hum and a roar.

      • 31 Susan P November 26, 2013 at 14:58

        Snicker.

      • 32 Professor VJ Duke November 26, 2013 at 17:55

        No snickering allowed!

      • 33 Susan P November 26, 2013 at 20:38

        guffaw

      • 34 Professor VJ Duke November 26, 2013 at 21:02

        Not allowed either!

      • 35 Susan P November 26, 2013 at 21:11

Show me your critic license, please.

      • 36 Professor VJ Duke November 26, 2013 at 21:34

        I don’t have one, dadblameit!

      • 37 Susan P November 26, 2013 at 21:41

        No license, no criticizing.

      • 38 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 01:57

        Oh dadblame well.

      • 39 Susan P November 27, 2013 at 02:23

Is Ruber cooking for the Punchy Thanksgiving Dinner?

      • 40 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 13:58

He definitely is. And a few other chefs. The professor will be attending too. Wish me luck–and safety!

      • 41 Susan P November 27, 2013 at 14:04

Maybe you should consider taking some of the pink potion with you, and keep your doctor’s phone number on speed dial.

      • 42 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 14:05

Who would I feed it to?

      • 43 Susan P November 27, 2013 at 14:11

Why would you feed y our doctor’s phone to anyone?

      • 44 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 16:16

I mean the Pink Potion, actually. You know, turn the whole thing around.

      • 45 Susan P November 27, 2013 at 16:22

Hand it around liberally to everyone.

      • 46 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 16:28

Especially, to Henry. He enjoys it.

      • 47 Susan P November 27, 2013 at 16:34

There you go. He likes pretty well anything, doesn’t he?

      • 48 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 20:22

Yes, but I’m sure he wouldn’t like the pink potion.

      • 49 Susan P November 27, 2013 at 21:23

You’ll never know unless you try.

      • 50 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 23:33

        That’s true.

      • 51 Susan P November 28, 2013 at 13:21

Of course, most things are not what we think they are.

      • 52 Professor VJ Duke November 28, 2013 at 14:19

        Just like the professor.

  5. 53 Painting Pundit November 23, 2013 at 00:30

Was not able to open the video. Probably a computer issue but did really miss not hearing Manly-Man.

    • 54 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 01:08

Oh really? Dadblameit! Try this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0BnZX12nUg.

  6. 55 Susan P November 22, 2013 at 21:13

The sound effects were … amazing. Best interview yet.

    • 56 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:13

:D Thanks, Susan. Even better than Mr. R’s?

      • 57 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 02:11

        Better X 4
Seriously. Mr. R. is a bit of a stiff shirt. MM doesn’t give a doggone. He was at home and if the Professor had not been there there is no telling what he might have gotten up to.

      • 58 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:03

        :D Goodness!

He would have probably gotten a lot worse. Had to shush up things a few times.

      • 59 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 13:44

        I noticed that.

      • 60 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 23:28

        Yes, yes.

      • 61 Susan P November 24, 2013 at 01:50

        :)

      • 62 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 23:00

  7. 63 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 22, 2013 at 20:33

Let’s make it fast, I’s a busy Manly. Great interview!

Loved the banter between you two during the question on which Punchy Lander was most manly!! Naw…naww…yeahh :D

Thanks for asking my questions, professor. I learned a lot.

You guys did a fantastic job!

    • 64 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:13

      Thank you, Aud!

Arthur, it turned out to be–which is an interest.

Thanks for asking them! Great questions they were.

Many thanks! The professor must retire now.

      • 65 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 22, 2013 at 23:40

Yes, I know, and I liked that Manly chose Arthur!!

Don’t go anywhere. I very much enjoyed your reactions to his answers. You have a nice chuckle, and it made me laugh to listen to him catch you off guard. :D

      • 66 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:58

        Do you like Art?

Hmm…you enjoyed when the professor was in trouble. That’s dadblamery. Perhaps, I’ll go swear now.

      • 67 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 23, 2013 at 00:07

Well, I don’t know, if I do or not, I like the idea of approving a King, but they have their short comings. Should I?

I did smirk….a lot. I was enjoying myself. I felt as if in the room watching from the side.

Curses, so soon? You know, I can always bring up your constant and overwhelmingly obvious tendencies towards…well…Ro..ma..romanc…romance…

      • 68 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 01:06

Yes, you should! He’d appreciate it. Everyone’s usually against him.

        Did you see the professor?

        Don’t tell Anja! And it’s a lie.

      • 69 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 23, 2013 at 01:20

I will get my scarf, I’ll be ready to cheer him on then.

No, but may have seen you at the coffee shop today. ;)

Okay, but I fear that is your battle. (not)

      • 70 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 01:45

        Awesome!

        What did he look like?

        You mean, I’ve lost?

      • 71 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 23, 2013 at 01:55

:) but I’m checking his bio out just in case…right now, in fact.

This one? Well he had silver hair…he looked at me like he knew me.

        Yep

      • 72 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 02:58

        Great!

Silver hair? Like Jim Caviezel? :D

      • 73 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 23, 2013 at 03:04

Umm, no not that young, actually. More Ken Follett, the distinguished gentleman, not the british queen looking one… :) ( Man your eyes were blue today.)

      • 74 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:07

  You might just be shocked if you ever saw the professor.

      • 75 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 23, 2013 at 03:09

  Maybe so, yet enigmas change frequently, professor.

      • 76 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:09

        Not professorish ones.

      • 77 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 23, 2013 at 03:12

        Really?

      • 78 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 23:19

But I’ve never met a professorish enigma.

      • 79 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 24, 2013 at 01:36

I’ve never met this type of professor. So there…

      • 80 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 22:58

        What type of professor?

      • 81 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 02:59

        Dadblame the losing thing!

      • 82 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 23, 2013 at 03:06

Yea, a cross to bear, I’m afraid.

      • 83 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:08

        The professor never loses!

      • 84 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 23, 2013 at 03:11

Suit up then, cause it’ll be brutal.

      • 85 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 23:18

        I don’t believe it.

      • 86 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 24, 2013 at 01:36

So you believe that you will prevail? You are too sweet to do so, I think.

      • 87 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 22:57

I told you the professor is very mean, dadblameit!

      • 88 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister November 24, 2013 at 22:59

And the cusing sort, it seems. ;) You are mean and I am sweet.

      • 89 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 23:03

        Yes, yes!

  8. 90 Sonya Solomonovich November 22, 2013 at 20:27

Mmm chocolate! I agree with MM on his choice of dessert.

But i don’t think it’s very manly of him to say that romancing a womanly woman is a weakness…

    • 91 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:12

But what about the cherries and cashews?

But isn’t that who MM would feel on the matter?

      • 92 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 02:17

        Nothing trumps chocolate.

      • 93 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:04

        Cashews have to!

      • 94 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 13:44

        Chocolate covered cashews?

      • 95 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 23:28

        The professor does like them…

      • 96 Susan P November 24, 2013 at 01:51

        I like cashews lightly salted.

      • 97 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 23:01

The professor likes them completely naked (no salt).

      • 98 Susan P November 25, 2013 at 12:51

And my daughter makes cheese with them.

      • 99 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 18:28

        Oh, she does not!

      • 100 Susan P November 25, 2013 at 23:22

Oh, yes she does. It’s good, too. Dairy free.

      • 101 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 23:25

That sounds awesome! Does she have a recipe?

      • 102 Susan P November 25, 2013 at 23:30

I can get it from her. It requires, I believe, a blender of some sort. But mostly it’s soaking cashews for an amount of time and then blending.

      • 103 Professor VJ Duke November 26, 2013 at 13:58

How interesting! A lot can be done with cashews, it seems.

      • 104 Susan P November 26, 2013 at 14:58

Eating them is the best, though.

      • 105 Professor VJ Duke November 26, 2013 at 17:55

        The professor must agree.

      • 106 Susan P November 26, 2013 at 20:37

Yep. I have some in a small can that I keep nearby for snacks.

      • 107 Professor VJ Duke November 26, 2013 at 21:02

I bet George tries to steal the can.

      • 108 Susan P November 26, 2013 at 21:10

No. George is a well-behaved and somewhat law abiding cat. Except if his food bowl is empty. When his food bowl is empty, his Punchy side awakens.

      • 109 Professor VJ Duke November 26, 2013 at 21:34

        Law abiding…

So he does have a Punchy side! I thought so!

      • 110 Susan P November 26, 2013 at 21:41

No self respecting cat would be without his Punchy side.

George said to tell you that sometimes I am dadblame it slow getting the litter cleaned out and the food in the bowl.

      • 111 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 01:57

 That means Bob got one, too!

Ooo, I bet he gets really cranky about that. Tell him, that the professor thinks Susan should hurry up!

      • 112 Susan P November 27, 2013 at 02:22

Oh no, you aren’t going to catch me on that one.

      • 113 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 13:58

Well, I thought it was good advice. But the same could be said about the professor and Bob.

      • 114 Susan P November 27, 2013 at 14:03

        ba da bing

      • 115 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 14:05

        Huff-Hum.

      • 116 Susan P November 27, 2013 at 14:10

Heads up, catch this flying missile.

      • 117 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 16:16

        I think I’ll duck.

      • 118 Susan P November 27, 2013 at 16:20

        Quack!

      • 119 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 16:28

        Wouldn’t it be whack?

      • 120 Susan P November 27, 2013 at 16:33

        Smack?

      • 121 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 20:20

        Yes, exactly.

      • 122 Susan P November 27, 2013 at 21:23

        :D

      • 123 Professor VJ Duke November 27, 2013 at 23:32

      • 124 Sonya Solomonovich November 24, 2013 at 00:24

Cherries and cashews are all right :P Chocolate is better though!

I say if that’s how he feels than he’s not manly at all. Mr. Ratherquite is much manlier, for he takes care of his ladies, which is the sign of a truly manly man.

      • 125 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 22:56

        Oh, dadblameit! ;)

Do you like Mr. R now?

      • 126 Jazzy Couldren November 24, 2013 at 22:47

Hey wee little girl, I doesn’t think you know nothing about manliness. That’s why you says the stuff you does.

      • 127 Sonya Solomonovich November 25, 2013 at 01:26

Oh yes I’ve started liking Mr. R ever since his interview. He is quite a charming fellow.

      • 128 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 18:25

I suppose the professor has begun to like him, too!

      • 129 Sonya Solomonovich November 25, 2013 at 01:27

I do too know stuff about manliness! :P

  9. 130 Anja November 22, 2013 at 18:43

I can’t argue manly man’s romantic side but still stand by my opinion of the professor. :)

    • 131 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:10

      But…but…but…dadblamery!

      • 132 Anja November 22, 2013 at 23:11

        Oh stop….. :)
        I enjoyed the interview and I laughed a few times….okay a lot.

      • 133 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:16

But still the professor is going to retire.

      • 134 Anja November 22, 2013 at 23:21

        Retire???

      • 135 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:22

        Yes. Retire.

      • 136 Anja November 22, 2013 at 23:23

        From?

      • 137 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:33

        Being professorish.

      • 138 Anja November 22, 2013 at 23:34

The Professor is going to retire from being professorish? You do see this sounds like a riddle

      • 139 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:34

        Oh, I suppose so. Impossible?

      • 140 Anja November 22, 2013 at 23:36

        Maybe, probably so.

      • 141 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:56

But it could be possible, and I might do it!

      • 142 Anja November 22, 2013 at 23:57

Tell me why you would consider this?

      • 143 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:58

        I’m getting old.

      • 144 Anja November 23, 2013 at 00:00

Old? We are all getting old in years but doesn’t mean mentally.

      • 145 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 01:05

The professor hopes this is true.

      • 146 Anja November 23, 2013 at 01:35

You are not getting old..you are just saying that. I have a feeling I’m older than the professor anyway.

      • 147 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 01:49

How would you know? The professor is very ancient. (How old do you think I am?)

      • 148 Anja November 23, 2013 at 02:24

        I don’t “know”….just a guess. (Ummmm 30?)

      • 149 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:06

        :D

      • 150 Anja November 23, 2013 at 03:08

That is all I get? lol

      • 151 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:09

        What more do you want?

      • 152 Anja November 23, 2013 at 03:09

        Yes, no…hot, cold….or the answer

      • 153 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:11

But I can’t answer such questions.

      • 154 Anja November 23, 2013 at 03:12

Ugh……..but you are suppose to confirm or deny my guesses…..

      • 155 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 23:19

Only sometimes, and not in comments, you know.

      • 156 Anja November 24, 2013 at 01:37

        grrrrrrr

      • 157 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 22:58

:D The professor is so sweet.

      • 158 Anja November 24, 2013 at 23:00

Uhhh yes you are….unfortunately have to admit that but tricky

      • 159 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 23:03

And that’s the same as wicked.

      • 160 Anja November 24, 2013 at 23:04

You say wicked, I say sweet

      • 161 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 18:25

        Well, dadblameit!

  10. 162 I Am Jasmine Kyle November 22, 2013 at 15:42

    JAZZY SNAZZY!

    • 163 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 22:42

Of course! The professor wishes he could rhyme with his name…

      • 164 I Am Jasmine Kyle November 23, 2013 at 00:50

I get called Jazzy! So … I’m snazzy!!! Makes me happy!

      • 165 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 01:08

You are jazzy. (What’s snazzy mean?)

      • 166 I Am Jasmine Kyle November 23, 2013 at 08:18

        Snazzy means you look NICE!!!

      • 167 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 23:22

        No it doesn’t!

      • 168 I Am Jasmine Kyle November 24, 2013 at 00:08

Where I’m from it means you look nice.

      • 169 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 22:56

        Oh…Well, then you are snazzy!

      • 170 I Am Jasmine Kyle November 25, 2013 at 00:29

Thank you I think your very snazzy too!

      • 171 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 18:25

But the professor isn’t, you know.

  11. 172 FictionFan November 22, 2013 at 14:38

Well! Chocolate cake with chocolate sauce? He sounds almost nice! I’d like to see a video of him disco dancing – I don’t remember throwing people through windows as being part of John Travolta’s routine, but I see how it could work…

Shame about his infamous treatment of his wife and daughter – I hope their lawsuit is going well…

Couldn’t make out at all what his coolest thing was, sadly? So if he’s not looking for a Womanly-Woman on the grounds that Womanly is bad, does that mean…gulp…that he’s looking for a Manly-Woman?

And tell him to stop being rude about my Schwartzy! (Obviously jealous because Schwartzy’s soooo manly….)

    • 173 ladycheetah7 November 22, 2013 at 16:56

FictionFan I respectfully disagree as it relates to MM’s masculinity. Me thinks he is manly with a wounded ♥. His manly ego prevents him from being transparent. One thing we both are on the same page and was thinking about it during the interview was the disco. I think I want to see a video of that myself.
      :-)

      • 174 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 22:43

A vid? You’re kidding, right? I’ll get MM in here…

      • 175 Jazzy Couldren November 23, 2013 at 00:09

Hey, you’s little kittens gotta learn some lessons.

To the little white one: I’s ain’t lookin’ for any woman. It’d ruin my manly pride. Also, Schwartz is really stupid. I’s sorry to tell you that.

To the big spotted one: Manly doesn’t have a wounded heart–cause he don’t have no heart. He’s purely mean, manly, crazy, jazzy and…invincible.

As for the disco vid…I don’t allow photos of my manliness. It’d make too many people jealous.

        Now’s you know.

        :}

      • 176 ladycheetah7 November 23, 2013 at 00:29

Baaaaahhhhaaahhhhaaaahhhaaa. MM, the cats was a good observation.

      • 177 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 01:07

         MM, you’re great!

    • 178 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 22:42

I tried to get him to like something other than chocolate, but it didn’t work.

 Dancing? That would be scary. He started moving in the studio…

      The professor–you should know–is on MM’s side.

It had something to do with ripping someone’s throat open. The professor had to silence it quickly, you see.

What a naughty FEF! I’m sure MM isn’t looking for anyone in particular…

Maybe there’s something you don’t know about Schwarz?

      • 179 FictionFan November 23, 2013 at 01:34

There’s nothing better than chocolate, and liking it is his best quality (by miles) so don’t discourage him.

Oh yes, a video! Tell him you’ll only show it to the girls so the men don’t get too jealous…

I don’t believe that – the Professor would never be so discourteous to women!

Hmm – I suppose the  ness would depend on whose throat…?

All these denials – I’m beginning to suspect ladycheetah is right and he’s nursing a broken-heart.

Maybe…a man of mystery – that just makes him even more attractive! And tell MM my Schwarzy’s apparent stupidity is just a front to fool the gullible…

      • 180 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 01:49

 FEF isn’t too fond of MM, I’d say!

        I don’t think he’d ever agree, though.

Well, the professor is a courteous sort of beast. So, perhaps you’re right. But not all women are nice, you know.

It was Mr. Magi’s, I believe.

Well, at least the professor isn’t in denial about anything.

Schwarz is always nice to this professor when I see him, for sure.

      • 181 FictionFan November 23, 2013 at 15:35

Fonder now that I know about his choccy passion.

You could put a hidden camera in his room – I bet he dances in front of his mirror…

Nice or not, no really manly man would use his superior strength against a woman – even in PL! (Ask Mr R – I’m sure he’d confirm that.)

        Hmm…why?

Never said you were – I think you may be confusing me with someone else.

Good! And I’m sure the Professor is nice back…

      • 182 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 23:31

He dances mostly every time I see him…

Oh yes, Mr. R would agree. I do think you like the man now.

The professor isn’t sure. At the time, I believe DS was very angry about something, and Mr. Magi was trying to stop him from doing something.

Confuse you? The professor isn’t that dull, young lady!

      • 183 FictionFan November 24, 2013 at 00:35

Hmm…chocolate and a dancer…I may have to revise my opinion of him…

I think he should open up a School of Etiquette, and run a course on ‘How to Handle a Woman’ for MM1 and ‘How to Dance the Cotillion’ for…for…for anyone who might need it…

Well, it’s nice of MM1 to want to stand up for his fiend (I’m going to let that typo stand…) But perhaps a shade extreme?

      • 184 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 22:57

Definitely better than the professor, you see.

Would you go to the school to practice?

Great typo. Very extreme. It’s always extreme–the things that are happening.

      • 185 FictionFan November 25, 2013 at 14:32

No, no – never better than the Professor. Not possible!

With you? Oh, how kind of you to ask – I’d love to… ;)

      • 186 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 18:29

:D The professor might like that.

We’d make such a team!

  12. 187 ladycheetah7 November 22, 2013 at 14:02

Most excellent way to start a cold, winter Friday in Texas. Manly Man is as cool as I know he is and smart too. He thinks Mr. Ratherquite is girly, King Arthur as cool and chocolate is the best!
Thank you for doing the interview.
    :-)

    • 188 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 22:39

But what about the poor professor?

No problem! (Really enjoyed your 3rd question.)

      • 189 ladycheetah7 November 22, 2013 at 22:44

Have one of the PL characters interview you and then we can open that can of worms…lol
        ;-)

      • 190 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:14

Ooo…that would be very scary. And put the professor on the spot. Who would interview him?

      • 191 ladycheetah7 November 22, 2013 at 23:19

King Arthur, Alb or Mr. Ratherquite. Now that would be interesting chemistry.

      • 192 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 23:22

That would be dadblamery! How would the professor handle such a situation?

      • 193 ladycheetah7 November 22, 2013 at 23:55

        As only the professor would.

    • 194 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 02:20

I could get behind a movement to get MM interview the Professor.

      • 195 ladycheetah7 November 23, 2013 at 02:25

That would be lovely unless MM thinks he’s too manly to interview. ..

      • 196 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 02:35

We have ways of making him talk…

I have a great paleo chocolate chip cookie recipe.

      • 197 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:06

But the professor isn’t convinced about it, you know…

      • 198 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 13:46

Alas. What does it take to convince the Professor?

      • 199 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 23:28

I’m not sure. The questions could get scary.

      • 200 Susan P November 24, 2013 at 01:52

Never say the thought frightens the Professor?

      • 201 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 23:02

        Well, of course it doesn’t!

      • 202 Susan P November 25, 2013 at 12:52

        giggle

      • 203 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 18:28

        Dadblamery!

      • 204 Susan P November 25, 2013 at 23:23

        ;)

      • 205 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 23:25

  13. 206 portergirl November 22, 2013 at 13:06

Thank you, Professor and Manly Man for answering my questions! I feel I know you both a little better now :)

    • 207 Susan P November 22, 2013 at 14:30

      Laws! giggle. chuckle, guffaw…..

I think I know some people outside of the PL who are like MM. Fun fun!

      • 208 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 22:40

:D Laws…what a great expression. It sounds professorish, I think.

Ooo, who? It was dadblame tough interviewing him, you know.

      • 209 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 02:09

Maybe you should add it to your list of exclamation.

Susan should think it was dadblame tough interviewing MM. He’s a slippery fellow. Changes his story as he will.

      • 210 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:02

        With your permission, I will!

He does! The story is always changing.

      • 211 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 13:42

        Of course you may.

      • 212 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 23:27

        Thank you.

      • 213 Susan P November 24, 2013 at 01:50

        De nada.

      • 214 Professor VJ Duke November 24, 2013 at 23:00

        Ooo, is it code language?

      • 215 Susan P November 25, 2013 at 12:50

        No, it’s Portuguese language.

      • 216 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 18:27

        What’s it mean?

    • 217 Professor VJ Duke November 22, 2013 at 22:38

No problem! MM was mean to the professor, wasn’t he?

      • 218 Susan P November 23, 2013 at 02:21

Mean and sly with some of his “observations.”

      • 219 Professor VJ Duke November 23, 2013 at 03:05

Yes, very insulting. I should have given hime what for!

      • 220 portergirl November 25, 2013 at 11:34

He was a little, yes! He must be careful not to confuse mean-ness with manliness

      • 221 Professor VJ Duke November 25, 2013 at 18:26

But, overall, he’s a great guy!

      • 222 portergirl November 26, 2013 at 13:00

        The greatest!

      • 223 Professor VJ Duke November 26, 2013 at 14:05

        And he’s cool.
