“I stepped on his hands and he fell” Hehaha

Aww, I kinda liked Morality. Too bad his “evilness” caught up with him.

    • 2 Professor VJ Duke December 30, 2013 at 15:09

Well, there could be sequels. We will see!

  2. 3 The Dancing Rider December 14, 2013 at 15:40

I loved Olmes’s voice when he said “I can’t wait to kill him.” LOL!

Sound effects, including horse, and waterfall, and singing birds were great! As was Olmes’s horrid “scream” after Ratson stepped on his fingers!

Of course it was Olmes who arose and killed Morality (funny metaphor, that), and also showed up at Ratson’s house at the end, was it not?!

    • 4 Professor VJ Duke December 15, 2013 at 21:54

 I think you like DS, DR!

I liked his scream too. I did feel a bit bad for the brute.

:D Do you want me to tell you?

      • 5 The Dancing Rider December 15, 2013 at 22:26

Well, unless there’s going to be another episode, of course I would like to know! :)

      • 6 Professor VJ Duke December 16, 2013 at 13:48

        Okay, then: it was DS!

      • 7 The Dancing Rider December 16, 2013 at 14:23

I KNEW it! Who else would have sounded that “strangled” after all that happened. I knew it had to be DS! :)

      • 8 Professor VJ Duke December 16, 2013 at 16:25

 And you’re happy about it too! Now you should pray hard for Ratson.

      • 9 The Dancing Rider December 16, 2013 at 21:17

Ooops. Poor Ratson will take the punishment, when it should be Schwarz. But DS won’t really cross Schwarz I think. Very sad. Yes, I am afraid for Ratson. He may be able to slip out of it somehow. Or someone might unexpectedly, and inadvertently, intervene…..

      • 10 Professor VJ Duke December 17, 2013 at 13:28

Or he might…die? Ratty could be retired, you know.

      • 11 The Dancing Rider December 17, 2013 at 14:29

Well, perhaps Ratty. But most certainly never Ruber!

      • 12 Professor VJ Duke December 17, 2013 at 16:00

Yes! He is after all, playing a part.

  3. 13 ladycheetah7 December 14, 2013 at 02:55

Dr. Ratson pulled an unexpected move. Neat and to have the birds laughing was genius.
    :-P

    • 14 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 03:05

 The professor’s fault. Mic was against it, really.

      • 15 ladycheetah7 December 14, 2013 at 12:12

Excellent idea and very original. First time I ever heard of something like that. Glad you went with it.
        :-)

      • 16 Professor VJ Duke December 15, 2013 at 21:49

        Thank you, Lady!

      • 17 ladycheetah7 December 14, 2013 at 12:15

And Prof. Morality’s accent (southern twang) cracks me up. Funny his voice is the most “normal.”

      • 18 Professor VJ Duke December 15, 2013 at 21:50

Did you know he charges the most?

  4. 19 Sonya Solomonovich December 14, 2013 at 00:05

I like Morality’s accent and the sounds of the seagulls laughing! I guess there will be another episode?…

    • 20 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 00:34

Well…I’m not sure. I think the studio is moving on. Maybe in the way future.

      • 21 Susan P December 14, 2013 at 01:51

        Moving on to other things?

      • 22 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 02:49

        Yes, do you know?

      • 23 Susan P December 14, 2013 at 14:05

The studio is moving, or the studio is moving on to some new adventures in the PL?

      • 24 Professor VJ Duke December 15, 2013 at 21:53

        Yes, new adventures.

      • 25 Susan P December 15, 2013 at 22:15

        Awesome!!!!!!!! Can’t wait.

      • 26 Professor VJ Duke December 16, 2013 at 13:44

        :D Thanks, Susan!

      • 27 ladycheetah7 December 14, 2013 at 02:59

So what does this mean for the skits?

      • 28 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 03:05

Well, three more Olmes throughout next year, ’cause I promised a total of 10…but we’re looking into some new things.

  5. 29 Painting Pundit December 13, 2013 at 19:44

D.S. still hasn’t learned the lessons of Morality. Was that the Monty Python guys riding by on the way to the Holy Grail?

    • 30 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 00:30

      You mean the laughing birds?

      • 31 Painting Pundit December 14, 2013 at 00:32

        No. The horses.

      • 32 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 00:36

Yes! That’s what it twas! MP’s funny, huh?

    • 33 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 00:31

      Oh, the horse?

  6. 34 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 13, 2013 at 18:50

I like riddles, very much. This one has an epic setting.

Truly enjoyed the sounds, professor. Please tell the one in charge, Mr. Warren, I believe. Really enjoyed the sounds of the forest and the horse running past. All new great sounds! Well done.

The laughing birds made me giggle and the strong heartbeat at the end, scary for sure.

    • 35 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 00:29

The riddles were rather un-spicy, I think. Brings out this lovely face in me  .

Actually, Mic Pencilpoint is in charge of the studios… And thanks. The horse was difficult to record.

      What do you suppose happened?

      • 36 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 14, 2013 at 00:36

You do? They were like my poems..kinda rhymey. Haha. But I enjoyed them very much.

There’s the horns…let me get the bows!!

Well, well done to the studio. I’m sure, it came across very well.

        I guess he’s back and pretty upset….

      • 37 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 00:52

No, your poems are much better.

        Thanks!

I bet Ruber is no more. Or Ratty.

      • 38 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 14, 2013 at 04:08

        No you…stop being sweet.

I need a bow! Can a girl get a bow??

Who needs’ em! Phewy on that red head. Bring on Nappy!!

      • 39 Professor VJ Duke December 15, 2013 at 21:49

I’m wickedly sweet, and it’s impossible to be otherwise.

No. I don’t think you should get one.

        Nappy’s a great guy.

      • 40 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 15, 2013 at 21:57

The riddle notes on the tree and rocks in your story, remind me of the early shananagians in, As You Like It.

      • 41 Professor VJ Duke December 15, 2013 at 21:58

I’m all for shananagians, you know.

      • 42 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 15, 2013 at 22:01

        *shakes her head*

      • 43 Professor VJ Duke December 16, 2013 at 13:44

        *takes out his pipe*

      • 44 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 16, 2013 at 14:57

*sits in her chair with his lighter lit*

      • 45 Professor VJ Duke December 16, 2013 at 16:32

        I use a match.

      • 46 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 16, 2013 at 16:44

That’s too bad, its awfully damp where you are they won’t work.

      • 47 Professor VJ Duke December 16, 2013 at 17:45

It’s not damp in the studio!

      • 48 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 16, 2013 at 20:16

Are you sure, check again. My pipe seems to be working fine from here. Tis a sad state of affairs that yours is still cold.

      • 49 Professor VJ Duke December 17, 2013 at 13:25

        You have a pipe????

      • 50 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 17, 2013 at 14:48

Yes its plastic, if I use warm water and soap bubbles come out the top.

      • 51 Professor VJ Duke December 17, 2013 at 16:02

*shakes head* How can you ever learn to smoke like Twain, then?

      • 52 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 17, 2013 at 16:46

        :D You’ll teach me, right?

      • 53 Professor VJ Duke December 17, 2013 at 20:10

I might. Ladies don’t smoke though.

      • 54 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 17, 2013 at 20:13

        Not this one, anyway.

      • 55 Professor VJ Duke December 17, 2013 at 20:14

        Only Twains smoke.

      • 56 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 17, 2013 at 20:15

And you’re a Twain, I see. I guess I’ll have to find something else to do.

      • 57 Professor VJ Duke December 18, 2013 at 13:38

        I’m only a Twain sometimes.

      • 58 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 18, 2013 at 14:15

And other times… a shadow. I got it, professor.

      • 59 Professor VJ Duke December 18, 2013 at 21:45

And other times, just the professor.

      • 60 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister December 19, 2013 at 02:44

Yes, and that is nice. But it should read: And other times, The Professor!

      • 61 Professor VJ Duke December 19, 2013 at 14:43

        Okay, then.

      • 62 Susan P December 14, 2013 at 01:53

        Mic Pencilpoint is a pseudonym…

      • 63 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 02:49

        Why would you say that?

      • 64 Susan P December 14, 2013 at 14:09

Because it is true. Or a business name. Or a studio name. Or all of the above. My curiosity bone got into gear Thursday night and one of the places I stopped I learned about the origin of the phrase. Very cool.

      • 65 Professor VJ Duke December 15, 2013 at 21:53

        What did you find?

      • 66 Susan P December 15, 2013 at 22:16

I found a pencil fastened to a mic with a rubber band. I love learning new stuff. My dad would have loved that!

      • 67 Professor VJ Duke December 16, 2013 at 13:45

 It is a sort of play on words, I suppose. Also, there’s such a thing as a pencil mic.

  7. 68 Anja December 13, 2013 at 18:24

    Oh my…lots of rhymes. :)

    • 69 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 00:28

      But maybe I didn’t write it…

      • 70 Anja December 14, 2013 at 02:20

Oh you must try to write some rhymes.

      • 71 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 02:50

Oh no. Twould be awful .

      • 72 Anja December 14, 2013 at 02:52

Never know until you give it a go

      • 73 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 03:04

        That’s true.

  8. 74 technophile9 December 13, 2013 at 17:15

Was this based on the “The Final Problem”? I won’t give any spoilers here, but I think we’ll be seeing more of Olmes. :D

    • 75 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 00:27

Are you sure? What about Ratty?

  9. 76 Susan P December 13, 2013 at 16:00

Funniest line in an excellent short: “It won’t be said that Daddy Olmes was too scared to face Morality.”

Well, I daresay he will make a comeback. Maybe Morality will, too. DS taught his offspring well. Perhaps too well…

    • 77 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 00:21

:) Maybe too dumb though. He was really dull in this one.

Unless, something happened rather bad to Ratty at the end.

      • 78 Susan P December 14, 2013 at 01:41

So was that an accidental pun, or was it on purpose (facing Morality).

      • 79 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 02:45

:D The script is always thought about, you know…

      • 80 Susan P December 14, 2013 at 13:46

        That’s what I thought. :D

      • 81 Professor VJ Duke December 15, 2013 at 21:51

        :D :D

      • 82 Susan P December 15, 2013 at 22:19

        You, sir, are very punny.

      • 83 Professor VJ Duke December 16, 2013 at 13:47

        Just professorish, you know.

      • 84 Susan P December 16, 2013 at 14:39

Susan doesn’t know where that leaves her. They are one of her favorite forms of humor even though her father, may he rest in peace, told her they were the lowest form of humor.

      • 85 Professor VJ Duke December 16, 2013 at 16:28

Really? I’m usually to dull to use a pun. Perhaps you can teach me how?

      • 86 Susan P December 16, 2013 at 19:07

That’s hard to believe. And, to borrow and mash a phrase, it doesn’t get taught, it gets caught.

      • 87 Professor VJ Duke December 16, 2013 at 19:36

I see. Well…Mic is the brains behind it–and Nick.

      • 88 Susan P December 16, 2013 at 21:42

Are you saying that you are just a pretty face?

      • 89 Professor VJ Duke December 17, 2013 at 13:32

        Pretty? Nah.

      • 90 Susan P December 17, 2013 at 14:32

*sings* everything is beauuuuutiful, in its own tiiiime…

      • 91 Professor VJ Duke December 17, 2013 at 16:00

        Haha. Except the professor.

      • 92 Susan P December 17, 2013 at 16:31

        Depends.

      • 93 Professor VJ Duke December 17, 2013 at 20:09

        On what?

      • 94 Susan P December 17, 2013 at 21:27

Depends on your definition of “everything.”

      • 95 Professor VJ Duke December 18, 2013 at 13:41

        What’s yours?

      • 96 Susan P December 18, 2013 at 14:36

You know. Everything. Every thing. All of the things.

      • 97 Professor VJ Duke December 18, 2013 at 21:48

        It’s very encompassing.

      • 98 Susan P December 19, 2013 at 02:21

        :)

      • 99 Professor VJ Duke December 19, 2013 at 14:42

  10. 100 L. Marie December 13, 2013 at 15:39

A stunning episode!!! Wow. I didn’t see that coming! :-) Bravo!!!

    • 101 Professor VJ Duke December 13, 2013 at 15:50

Many thanks! Do you still feel bad for DS?

  11. 102 FictionFan December 13, 2013 at 15:29

   Excellent, my dear Professor! Great twists! And again, I almost feel sorry for the poor old sausage…almost…

    • 103 Professor VJ Duke December 13, 2013 at 15:50

Almost? I feel bad for Dr. Ratson. And we left it open to do more, just for you. ;)

      • 104 FictionFan December 13, 2013 at 15:55

Why? Ratty turned out to be a rat! But I suspect DS will find himself a rat-trap and a big hunk of cheese…

I noticed! :D Though you had me worried for a moment…

      • 105 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 00:20

Well, maybe he already did. Maybe he was a knocking on the door.

And then you might have pouted.

      • 106 FictionFan December 14, 2013 at 01:49

Ah, well I see from your reply to Sonya that you don’t intend to do the other three, so I may pout anyway…

Thanks for the seven though. :)

      • 107 Professor VJ Duke December 14, 2013 at 02:49

Eventually, I think. It would be different, though. (It’s fun when you pout.)

My pleasure! Our pleasure, I mean… They’ll be thrown in throughout this coming year, I think…I think…I think…too much thinking to do.
