Dr. Zauberer and Mr. Magi

“So you have found me, my enemy?!” Dr. Zauberer said, spinning around and facing Mr. Magi. (The spin move was very awkward, by the way.)

Mr. Magi nodded and arched one eyebrow. “Yes, because you have sold yourself to do evil! You, young man, are not allowed to subjugate the Punchy Lands to your will!”

“If you must know,” Dr. Zauberer returned, “the whole design fell apart after the all-powerful Zez decided not to help me. Little rascal.”

Mr. Magi seemed slightly relieved. “What a dastardly design you had planned!”

Dr. Zauberer smiled broadly. “It was! You know, do you think I’m dastardly? I’d love to be described as dastardly.”

Dr. Zauberer sat down suddenly, but missed the chair he had aimed for completely, and landed on the floor with a thud. He recovered quickly, though, and finally found the chair he had been seeking.

Mr. Magi also sat. “Thank goodness for your clumsiness; I do think it will prevent you from subjugating the PL to your will one day.”

“I’m quite affronted,” Dr. Zauberer said. “I will succeed one day, my enemy.”

Mr. Magi looked confused. “Quite affronted? Hmm. Must think on that. But…”

And Mr. Magi rose.

“No more dastardly designs!”

Which—if the professor make break in—is like saying no more professorishness to the professor.

I have had days like Dr. Z. Both the clumsiness and the whole wanting to take over the world thing. Thankfully, they weren’t long lasting and I’m over them now :D

    • 2 Professor VJ Duke February 13, 2014 at 14:58

Wouldn’t it be nice to be queen of the world, though?

      • 3 Bethy February 13, 2014 at 15:07

Only if someone else was really in charge. Otherwise there would be too many people wanting answers to questions that I hadn’t ever even contemplated.

      • 4 Professor VJ Duke February 13, 2014 at 23:52

        I’ll help out. :D

      • 5 Bethy February 14, 2014 at 14:36

ooo! goody gumdrops! Maybe queen for a day would be so bad if I had the right helpers…hmmm…

      • 6 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 20:49

I’m sure DS would help too… Nice expression. :D

      • 7 Bethy February 17, 2014 at 14:00

erm. Would I want his help though? Do you think Schwarz would help?
        Thanks! Too much Candyland ;)

      • 8 Professor VJ Duke February 17, 2014 at 21:31

        :D Would you want Schwarz?

      • 9 Bethy February 20, 2014 at 01:23

Why of course! He is very practical –the very thing a ruler needs.

      • 10 Professor VJ Duke February 20, 2014 at 14:37

 I would never have thought that…

      • 11 Bethy February 20, 2014 at 14:55

That’s because you have a professorish mind!

      • 12 Professor VJ Duke February 20, 2014 at 18:01

        I sure do!

  2. 13 Hazy February 13, 2014 at 06:05

I think if Dr. Z would stop his dastardly designs, Mr. Magi would be a bit bored because he has no one to tell off!

    • 14 Professor VJ Duke February 13, 2014 at 14:51

 When Mr. M gets bored he returns to his cave and hibernates!

  3. 15 Lesley February 12, 2014 at 12:28

Hahaha just about everything about him is clumsy. And he is a dastard! Who would plot against the PL? I ought to knock him down. With a chair. But I’ll probably miss

    • 16 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 16:25

You’re right. Lesley, I love that: dastard. That’s exactly what the man is. I’m sure you’d get him, or he’d trip into it. But don’t you kinda like the fellow?

      • 17 Lesley February 12, 2014 at 16:31

I absolutely dislike this wannabe villain. Although, he’s a great character – kinda nice to have around to spice up life.:)

      • 18 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 16:37

Did you notice how nice DS was being, too?

      • 19 Lesley February 12, 2014 at 16:50

haha yes. He acted like he was talking to a little child who’s threatening to stain the house curtains, not to a world class evil mastermind. Dr. Z = Fail

      • 20 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 21:14

 I think you’ve got him figured out, Lesley. You’re right, it’s like Mr. Magi corrects him!

      • 21 Lesley February 12, 2014 at 21:19

And Mr. Magi is my favorite PL’er :)

      • 22 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 21:22

Oh, that’s right! Well, he’s leagues ahead of Dr. Z!

      • 23 Lesley February 12, 2014 at 21:24

Oh Professor don’t even compare them.

      • 24 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 22:11

 I shan’t! Mr. Magi is a great guy.

      • 25 Lesley February 13, 2014 at 04:03

        :)

  4. 26 ladycheetah7 February 11, 2014 at 19:16

Dr. Z is a bit clumsy. Obviously someone didn’t have their wheaties. I think he needs some chocolate to restore some balance.

    • 27 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 19:54

Wouldn’t that just make things worse?

      • 28 ladycheetah7 February 11, 2014 at 19:56

        Chocolate is the cure.

    • 29 Susan P February 11, 2014 at 19:55

He probably doesn’t eat Wheaties at all.

      • 30 ladycheetah7 February 11, 2014 at 19:57

I dont think anyone in the PL eats wheaties. Except MM.

      • 31 Susan P February 11, 2014 at 20:02

I guess that’s what makes him a honey doll.

      • 32 Jazzy Couldren February 12, 2014 at 02:53

        I’s eat steak for breakfast… :}

      • 33 Susan P February 12, 2014 at 13:45

Chopped steak or New York Strip Steak?

      • 34 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 16:24

        Not beans?

      • 35 Jazzy Couldren February 12, 2014 at 16:35

Hey, I’s go for the New York Strip Steak. I don’t eat none of those ugly beans. I’s only eat meat.

      • 36 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 16:38

You are a hunk of meat.

      • 37 Susan P February 13, 2014 at 02:37

        With macaroni and cheese?

      • 38 Jazzy Couldren February 12, 2014 at 22:51

        I’s a beef cake.

      • 39 Professor VJ Duke February 13, 2014 at 01:56

        Beef brain, maybe.

      • 40 Susan P February 13, 2014 at 02:48

It’s hard to tell much about you given that all you’ve shown us is a silhouette.

      • 41 Jazzy Couldren February 13, 2014 at 15:45

But you can see I has big muscles…

      • 42 Susan P February 13, 2014 at 19:35

        Do you work out?

      • 43 Jazzy Couldren February 13, 2014 at 21:28

Oh yeah! But you does know my muscles grow naturally too?

      • 44 Susan P February 13, 2014 at 21:38

Do they grow like Brussel’s sprouts?

      • 45 Jazzy Couldren February 14, 2014 at 00:29

Hey I’s don’t like that. They’s grow like muscles!

      • 46 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 01:42

I could send you some chicken…

      • 47 Jazzy Couldren February 14, 2014 at 20:19

        Why does you think I want chicken??? :}

      • 48 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 20:49

Who said I was thinking about it?

      • 49 Jazzy Couldren February 17, 2014 at 18:11

I’s don’t get you. You ain’t makin’ any sense.

      • 50 Susan P February 17, 2014 at 18:47

I’m not making any dollars, either.

      • 51 Professor VJ Duke February 17, 2014 at 21:42

 Jazzy’s so mean. Nice come back, Susan.

      • 52 Susan P February 18, 2014 at 02:19

He is not mean. I like Jazzy.

      • 53 Professor VJ Duke February 18, 2014 at 02:47

Hey, Susan, who is your favorite PL’er? I’ve never asked you.

      • 54 Susan P February 18, 2014 at 14:31

“The time has come,” the Walrus said, to talk of many things; Of seas and ships and sealing wax and cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings.”

      • 55 Professor VJ Duke February 18, 2014 at 19:49

You don’t have one? I think the professor likes Mr. Riot best.

      • 56 Susan P February 19, 2014 at 18:17

Well, if I have to choose, I choose DS. Because he makes me laugh.

      • 57 Professor VJ Duke February 19, 2014 at 20:56

Thanks for answering… :D I’m just curious about such things.

      • 58 Susan P February 20, 2014 at 18:50

        Curiosity killed the cat…

      • 59 Professor VJ Duke February 20, 2014 at 23:03

        Too bad…

      • 60 Susan P February 21, 2014 at 13:47

Is that what happened to Bob?

      • 61 Professor VJ Duke February 21, 2014 at 15:30

  The professor made the mistake of letting Bob out. Now he’s gone.

      • 62 Susan P February 21, 2014 at 18:01

George said to tell you that he is sorry to hear that – Bob must have been ungrateful.

      • 63 Professor VJ Duke February 21, 2014 at 20:53

I think he was. Sad beast.

      • 64 Susan P February 21, 2014 at 21:13

        Maybe he will return.

      • 65 Professor VJ Duke February 22, 2014 at 01:10

        I really hope so…

      • 66 Jazzy Couldren February 18, 2014 at 19:13

        :}

      • 67 Susan P February 19, 2014 at 18:10

        What does that mean?

      • 68 Jazzy Couldren February 20, 2014 at 15:40

        It mean’s you’s a strange honey-doll.

      • 69 Susan P February 20, 2014 at 18:58

        It’s my greatest virtue.

      • 70 Professor VJ Duke February 20, 2014 at 23:04

      • 71 Susan P February 21, 2014 at 13:48

        :D

  5. 72 Angeline M February 11, 2014 at 15:45

Spinning around on someone and I get dizzy…never seems to come off as a sharp move, so I can sympathize with Dr. Z. But missing the chair? Maybe that knocked some sense into him, or maybe just more dastardly designs.

    • 73 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 19:53

Haha. I think it could be the latter. Do you like dastardly designs? I think DS might.

  6. 74 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister February 11, 2014 at 15:43

Mr. Magi is such the protector!! Be still my heart! I love that he can arch one eyebrow. His ablities just keep coming, Duke. :D I think Dr. Z is afraid of Magi.

I am having a very hard time not liking Dr. Zauberer. I read his bio and want to like him, it’s too bad really. I wonder if he’s capable of positive dastardly designs? Now that would be Plumbtastic!

    • 75 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 19:53

:D I think you’re right, Audith! When Mr. Magi is about something, everyone stands back, you know.

He is a likable fellow. The professor has tried to convince him to be sweet. (He’s not really bad…like the Veezler, Pez, and–maybe–DS.)

      • 76 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister February 11, 2014 at 20:16

I get the feeling they do. Commands respect, he does. I love it!

Oh! Well then, let me go introduce myself.

      • 77 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 20:39

        Mr. Magi is sweet, too.

        Immediately! But be careful.

      • 78 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister February 11, 2014 at 22:49

        How… how is he wicked?

Upon closer inspection, it seems he and I have already met. His profile proves it. I introduced myself months ago, even then I was a bit taken by the man. :)

      • 79 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 00:04

No, he’s sweet. Completely sweet. Sometime stern, but always sweet. Sometimes too sweet. Learn from him, Audith! Never bee too dadblame sweet!

 Well, it’s good you still like him.

      • 80 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister February 12, 2014 at 00:37

You scold me for being mean and now for being too sweet. I cannot win!!!

      • 81 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 16:18

But isn’t that the professorish way?

      • 82 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister February 12, 2014 at 16:34

        Well, yes, but…

  7. 83 Susan P February 11, 2014 at 15:32

Why does Dr. Zauberer’s “voice” sound so much like the Professor? Some days I have awkward days – is that the same as clumsy days? I mean, when I am having an awkward day, all sorts of untoward things just happen without me initiating them.

    • 84 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 19:51

Like the professor? Now, now, now! I suppose Dr. Z is a little bit like the professor. Just a little bit.

 Yes…that’s the idea. I have those type of days once a day.

      • 85 Susan P February 11, 2014 at 19:57

        Exactly.

      • 86 Susan P February 11, 2014 at 20:02

        *nods head wisely*

      • 87 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 20:38

What’s this supposed to mean, Susan? I must needs know.

      • 88 Susan P February 11, 2014 at 22:58

“I suppose Dr. Z is a little bit like the professor. Just a little bit.” – The Professor

      • 89 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 00:08

        What is this for???

      • 90 Susan P February 12, 2014 at 13:40

You asked the meaning of head nodding and I was bowing to your superior intellect.

      • 91 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 16:29

Superior intellect indeed! You set me up, didn’t you?

      • 92 Susan P February 13, 2014 at 02:33

        Moi? how so?

      • 93 Professor VJ Duke February 13, 2014 at 14:39

You set me up to say maybe I was like Dr. Z…dadblameit!

      • 94 Susan P February 13, 2014 at 14:52

        Prove it…

      • 95 Professor VJ Duke February 13, 2014 at 15:03

        Well…I couldn’t do that…

      • 96 Susan P February 13, 2014 at 19:29

        could not or would not?

      • 97 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 00:06

        Should not, right?

      • 98 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 01:33

        That bad?

      • 99 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 20:36

It’s worrisome. Not sure it’s bad.

      • 100 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 20:50

        Worrisome indeed. :D

      • 101 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 21:04

        See? You know dadblame well!

      • 102 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 21:05

Worrisome to whom is the question.

      • 103 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 21:12

        To everyone, I’d say.

      • 104 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 21:17

        Fair enough. :D

      • 105 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 21:23

        Yes. *nods and winks*

      • 106 Susan P February 15, 2014 at 13:42

        :D

      • 107 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 21:06

To whom is the question directed?

      • 108 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 21:13

        Which question?

      • 109 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 21:18

        Lalalalala I can’t hear you.

      • 110 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 21:24

 Susan, you have been making this professor laugh really hard–I really needed that!

      • 111 Susan P February 15, 2014 at 13:43

The great thing about the Punchy Land is that I can let ‘er rip. :D

      • 112 Professor VJ Duke February 15, 2014 at 21:55

:D It’s just dadblame fun talking with you.

      • 113 Susan P February 16, 2014 at 22:09

Thank you, Professor. The feeling is mutual.

      • 114 Professor VJ Duke February 17, 2014 at 13:08

        :D

      • 115 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 21:07

        Nuh-uh.

      • 116 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 21:13

        Oh yes!

      • 117 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 21:19

        :p

      • 118 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 21:24

        ==]:-{)+

      • 119 Susan P February 15, 2014 at 13:43

        Pppppppft.

      • 120 Professor VJ Duke February 15, 2014 at 21:55

        Now what does it mean?

      • 121 Susan P February 16, 2014 at 22:10

        Name that tune!

      • 122 Professor VJ Duke February 17, 2014 at 13:09

        I can’t possibly do it.

      • 123 Susan P February 17, 2014 at 13:36

        Won’t.

      • 124 Professor VJ Duke February 17, 2014 at 21:29

        Same thing, dadblameit!

      • 125 Susan P February 18, 2014 at 02:16

Oh no you don’t. Not on my watch.

      • 126 Professor VJ Duke February 18, 2014 at 02:45

Then I’ll do it on mine! Humph noodles.

      • 127 Susan P February 18, 2014 at 14:22

        Ahzareegiwong.

      • 128 Professor VJ Duke February 18, 2014 at 19:47

        Wowawee!

      • 129 Susan P February 19, 2014 at 18:13

        :D

    • 130 Jackie February 12, 2014 at 17:16

Dr. Z sounds so much like the Professor because Dr. Z is good at mimicking people!

      • 131 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 21:15

But the professor isn’t, is he?

      • 132 Jackie February 12, 2014 at 22:26

The Professor is always his wonderful professorish self – no need to be anyone else.

      • 133 Professor VJ Duke February 13, 2014 at 01:55

Many thanks, Jackie–the professor appreciates that greatly.

      • 134 Susan P February 13, 2014 at 02:47

        That’s one possibility.

      • 135 Professor VJ Duke February 13, 2014 at 14:41

        One?

  8. 136 The Dancing Rider February 11, 2014 at 14:44

LOL, love the “thud”! No way will Dr. Zauberer concded to THAT. He’s probably plotting right now — and with a plan to hoodwink the slower -thinking PLr’s, and getting them involved before they realize what’s happened.

    • 137 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 19:45

You could be exactly right, DR. Definitely something Dr. Z would do. But…I do think he’s a bit dull, don’t you?

      • 138 The Dancing Rider February 11, 2014 at 19:48

Yes, I do! I think he’s trying to appear more exciting than he is! ;-)

      • 139 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 20:34

        That’s exactly it!

  9. 140 FictionFan February 11, 2014 at 14:14

I like dastardly people! But I suspect Dr Z won’t be around for long – I doubt if gurgly Zez will take too kindly to being called a little rascal…

The Professor however could never not be professorish, not even if the world was flat. Thankfully!

But would he like being called gurgle? I don’t know…

That’s good. It would be very dull if I lost my professorishness. Extra dull, that is, since the professor is dull already.

      • 142 FictionFan February 11, 2014 at 21:35

        Hmm…you have a point! But I think he probably knows I meant it as a compliment – it’s a lovely gurgle…

No he isn’t – he’s as bright and sparkly as a pirate’s treasure hoard!

      • 143 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 23:58

Not even Schwarzy could do better.

Ooo, I’d like to find a pirate’s treasure hoard. I’ve tried too on a few occasions.

      • 144 FictionFan February 12, 2014 at 02:08

But wouldn’t it be fun to hear him try?

Oh, I was going to give you a map with an X marking the spot…but then you refused to dance with me, so I think I’ll burn it…

      • 145 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 16:23

        It would…

        No! I want it, please.

      • 146 FictionFan February 12, 2014 at 17:23

Then I shall give it to you…at the end of our first dance…

      • 147 Professor VJ Duke February 12, 2014 at 21:17

Hmm…that doesn’t seem right to me at all. Couldn’t I have it beforehand?

      • 148 FictionFan February 12, 2014 at 22:56

But could I trust you to stick to your end of the deal?

      • 149 Professor VJ Duke February 13, 2014 at 01:59

Could I trust you! That’s the question, madam.

      • 150 FictionFan February 13, 2014 at 13:25

Of course! Gnomes are noted for their trustworthiness…

      • 151 Professor VJ Duke February 13, 2014 at 14:53

        This isn’t fair…

      • 152 FictionFan February 13, 2014 at 16:03

Life is rarely fair, as Shnoddy would confirm…

      • 153 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 00:01

        I hate Shnoddy.

      • 154 FictionFan February 14, 2014 at 15:27

Poor Shnoddy! He can’t help being a pessimistic befuddled old fool…

      • 155 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 20:56

        The professor is optimistic.

      • 156 Susan P February 13, 2014 at 13:36

[Susan settles down into a comfy womfy chair to watch this drama unfold.]

      • 157 Professor VJ Duke February 13, 2014 at 14:54

Susan, do you suppose it’s worth a dance to get a treasure map?

      • 158 Susan P February 13, 2014 at 14:58

Now that would depend on the dance, the dance partner, and the treasure map.

      • 159 Professor VJ Duke February 13, 2014 at 15:04

Yes, yes. You’re right. Hear that, FEF? The professor needs more information at once!

(Are there different types of dances?)

      • 160 Susan P February 13, 2014 at 19:33

I believe there are. There’s the Funky Chicken, the waltz, the polka, and a whole host of English country dances from back in the Pride and Prejudice era. Square Dancing…I dunno.

      • 161 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 00:07

What about the cotillion? I think FEF is fond of that. Is it a Manly dance?

      • 162 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 01:35

        It’a a genteel dance.

      • 163 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 20:36

Well, that counts the professor out, doesn’t it?

      • 164 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 20:51

Not having ever danced with the Professor, I really couldn’t say. However, I am in line after FF.

      • 165 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 21:06

But the professor can’t dance. You wouldn’t want to dance with me, would you?

      • 166 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 21:09

        I wouldn’t be in line if I didn’t.

      • 167 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 21:15

Hmmm….wouldn’t you rather have a sword fight or something?

      • 168 Susan P February 14, 2014 at 21:20

        laughing…

You’d like that wouldn’t you? Not gonna happen.

      • 169 Professor VJ Duke February 14, 2014 at 21:25

:D Wouldn’t it be dadblame fun?

      • 170 Susan P February 15, 2014 at 13:44

        For whom?

      • 171 Professor VJ Duke February 15, 2014 at 21:56

        Well, you?

      • 172 Susan P February 16, 2014 at 22:13

Indeed it would. When does it start?

      • 173 Professor VJ Duke February 17, 2014 at 13:09

You mean, you agree to that over dancing? :D

      • 174 Susan P February 17, 2014 at 13:38

No, I simply asked a question for clarification.Didn’t Tchaikovsky have a sword dance in The Nutcracker?

      • 175 Professor VJ Duke February 17, 2014 at 21:30

Oh! What a dastardly scheme, Susan! Imagine trying to trick the professor…dadblameit.

      • 176 Susan P February 18, 2014 at 02:16

Susan thinks the Professor tricked himself.

      • 177 Professor VJ Duke February 18, 2014 at 02:45

Tell Susan she’s right and that it happens quite frequently.

      • 178 Susan P February 18, 2014 at 14:23

        Don’t we all?

      • 179 Professor VJ Duke February 18, 2014 at 19:48

        No, only the professor.

      • 180 Susan P February 19, 2014 at 18:14

I disagree. We all trick ourselves from time to time.

      • 181 Professor VJ Duke February 19, 2014 at 20:54

Well, it is nice to know. And I believe you, since you’re so wise.

      • 182 Susan P February 20, 2014 at 18:47

        Positively owlish. Whoooo

      • 183 Professor VJ Duke February 20, 2014 at 23:02

        Oh dear…

      • 184 Susan P February 21, 2014 at 13:46

        :D

  10. 185 L. Marie February 11, 2014 at 14:10

Is Dr. Zauberer clumsy because he doesn’t drink enough Sotsiz tea or because of his evil plan?

  11. 186 floridaborne February 11, 2014 at 14:03

But when one is the professor, one must be professorish because he’s the one. :-)

    • 187 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 14:10

I see. And you know, that makes complete sense to me. But I did have to think about it for a second.

      Isn’t it lovely?

      • 188 floridaborne February 11, 2014 at 14:29

Since Valentine’s day is coming up, I would say it is Loverly. :-)

However, it’s a day of mourning for flowers world wide.

      • 189 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 19:39

I love that movie. :) Do you think this professor is like that professor?

        How come?

  12. 190 Julie Harris February 11, 2014 at 14:02

I think sound effects for this one would be quite amusing! I, too, can be a little clumsy :)

    • 191 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 14:09

You mean for when the poor chap hit the floor? :) (Sometimes the professor too has clumsy days.)

  13. 192 PorterGirl February 11, 2014 at 13:33

What’s up with Dr Zauberer? He seems dreadfully clumsy today. Has he been drinking? Dastardly is a good word for him, certainly, but I don’t think Mr Magi needs to worry too much. I think Zauberer is harmless, really.

    • 193 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 14:09

Very true, Lucy. Overall, Dr. Z is harmless–I think. No, he’s always that clumsy. Just like I’m always professor. You do think I’m professorish don’t you?

      • 194 PorterGirl February 11, 2014 at 14:13

Of course I do. You are the most professorish person I know. And you are my very favourite professor at that!

      • 195 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 19:33

Aw! The professor is very honored. If It wasn’t so vicious and mean, I might blush.

    • 196 Susan P February 11, 2014 at 15:33

My favorite Professor, too. I’ve never seen such a professorish person as he.

      • 197 PorterGirl February 11, 2014 at 15:36

Me either. He should have a special day dedicated to him and professorish-ness!

      • 198 Susan P February 11, 2014 at 15:37

Let’s see…what do you think that special day might look like?

      • 199 PorterGirl February 11, 2014 at 15:44

A procession, with people wearing top hats and waving katanas and singing jolly songs. There could be a special dance, as well (even though the Professor doesn’t dance). And food. A LOT of food!

      • 200 Susan P February 11, 2014 at 15:45

That sounds good – maybe it could be the kind of dance where he stands in the middle of a circle of people who dance around him.

      • 201 PorterGirl February 11, 2014 at 15:49

Yes! And he could throw chocolate at the dancers :)

      • 202 Susan P February 11, 2014 at 15:50

Chocolate covered strawberries might be fun!

      • 203 PorterGirl February 11, 2014 at 15:52

Hurrah! Yes. Chocolate covered fruit of all kinds!

      • 204 Professor VJ Duke February 11, 2014 at 19:54

The professor might not come to such a thing.
