Manothunder! That was epic! Full throttle punchilicious fun and dadblamery! oh yeah…!!

    • 2 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 15:05

*laughing lots* It certainly was a wonder!

      • 3 Jackie (Lostinthot) August 18, 2014 at 15:22

Indeed it was, Professor! Indeed it was.

      • 4 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 15:23

        Schwarz’s singing was cool, though.

      • 5 Jackie (Lostinthot) August 18, 2014 at 15:34

Come to think of it – yes it was! Kind of a bouncy happy-go-lucky tune ♫♪♫♪♫♪, you know?

      • 6 Professor VJ Duke August 19, 2014 at 01:14

*laughing* Love the musical notes you put there!

      • 7 Jackie (Lostinthot) August 19, 2014 at 01:24

        What’s music without musical notes!!??

      • 8 Professor VJ Duke August 19, 2014 at 01:31

So true! But, dadblameit, I can’t get notes!

      • 9 Jackie (Lostinthot) August 19, 2014 at 01:34

Yes you can – google Twitter keys!

      • 10 Professor VJ Duke August 19, 2014 at 01:38

        Aha! It’s a wonder, Jackie.

  2. 11 InfiniteZip August 15, 2014 at 09:39

I love the forest, faeries live there;) and scary things…I sing out there too, but not at high pitched as your friend;)

    • 12 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:38

      Yes! Wasn’t that very high?

      • 13 InfiniteZip August 16, 2014 at 18:39

        So very…..

      • 14 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:52

        Could you sing that high?

      • 15 InfiniteZip August 16, 2014 at 19:02

        Of course

      • 16 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 11:42

        I couldn’t, dadblameit!

  3. 17 The Dancing Rider August 14, 2014 at 20:59

Oh, how I’m liking Zez. He knows how to frighten PLr’s! I did note that Daddy Salami was not scared — I bet he knew?

Loved Schwarzy’s singing! Is he a helium soprano? :)

And the forest pictures, and the sound effects. I also liked that MM wanted to flee. Of course, if he’d known it was Zez….but he’s too dense for that. So it was nice to see him afraid for his life!

    • 18 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:41

Yes! He seemed unaffected. I bet he knew something! DS is just scary. You never know what he knows, or what he’s thinking!

*laughing* I’m not sure! No effects were added to that, though. Purely natural! Scary, isn’t it?

*laughs* Unless MM was pretending! I’ve got to get him over to this thread. Do you think he would have went after Zez?

      • 19 The Dancing Rider August 15, 2014 at 14:05

Well, I think MM isn’t stupid, and when things appear a certain way he acts accordingly. It is possible he coudl have known, but I was unclear on MM’s relationship with Zez. He might try to go after Zez, but I hink he’d change his mind partway through.

      • 20 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:52

He probably would. MM and Zez do not get along. They’re not really friends either. I think MM tries to avoid Zez overall.

  4. 21 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister August 14, 2014 at 20:39

I loved this so much!!!! A forest!! I want to go, dang it. I really enjoyed Schwarz’s singing….!!!!! *sang in a high pitched voice not of my own*

A dino? Really? This is going to be soooo exciting. I’m on the edge of my feet, I mean seat. MM was scared. I didn’t know he was scared so easily.

Well done, Duke! I do hope there will be more…

    • 22 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:40

Haha! Was Schwarz’s singing…unexpected, would you say? You sure? There was a dinosaur in there! We’d have to bring Oscar and Mr. Warrior.

Maybe he was letting someone else be manly for a change? Do you think? He seemed unconcerned. But, still, we should pick on him for it.

Many thanks! Do you like AurToons?

      • 23 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister August 15, 2014 at 02:40

It was unexpected and I really enjoyed him singing. It may be my favorite quality. Yes, I’m sure. Can’t I be? I know, but Dino’s can be distracted. We’ll just bring shiny things with us. We can bring them. They love adventures, Duke. The problem is that Oscar may want to bring the Dino home with us. Mr. Warrior would be very skeptical of our needing to get too close. He is a bit of a stickler about rules.
He has a nickname, you know….besides the beautiful one you’ve given him.

I think you’re right. He seems like a giver…a sharer…*laughing a lot* Well, he was a bit worried for a minute, I thought. Yes, pick away…you first. * hides behind you*

I do like them, Duketh. My favorite videos? Honestly, are the interviews where we learn more about the PL’ers. (Game show one, was fun, the noise identifier was great fun, too….I like them all.)

      • 24 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:36

Well…we’d probably have to kill the dino. No bringing such things home. Too dadblame dangerous! That’s smart of Mr. Warrior. We’d snipe it from afar!! He does? Ooo! What is it?

He’s nice to Little M, I hear. Well…I suppose I should say something mean to start off.

I forgot all about that one! Really I did. What a wonder. Thanks, Audith.

      • 25 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister August 18, 2014 at 03:59

You have strict rules, Duketh. *laughs a lot* Some kids get to have dinos at their house, you know.I’ve read about them. Snipe? So guns are involved? Hmmm. Sounds risky, he’ll love it. Pastor Brady…

Yes, well, hearing and proving it are two different things, Duke. Yes, you should. What will it be?

        Which one…? You’re welcome, Duketh. I don’t forget much…or anything.

      • 26 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 11:51

They have dinos in the house? I suppose once the heads are taken off. Risky is great; I’m sure he will! Love the nickname! Now it has me thinking of why, you know…

        Throw cake in his face?

The game show one. That was a long time ago.

      • 27 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister August 19, 2014 at 02:26

Then I guess you’ll have to arrange to have the head removed, Duke. *smiles* You would agree. *laughs* Thank you…well ’tis his first name and he doesn’t allow much in the way of shenanigans, so he’s been Pastor Brady for a long time. *giggle* He has a lot of friends to pull the fun out and he keeps them all in line, so it works well. He is very serious and has loads of questions, always.

        Oooo, you’d better be careful.

Yeah, I guess it was…it doesn’t feel that way, but it was.

      • 28 Professor VJ Duke August 19, 2014 at 11:54

*laughs* I think it’s a perfect nickname. He’d probably keep this professor in line too!

Well, I suppose it was a relatively short time ago, all things considered.

      • 29 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister August 19, 2014 at 21:58

He’s pretty good at it, I assure you! One day he’ll change, I bet.

All things and time considered, of course.

      • 30 Professor VJ Duke August 20, 2014 at 13:20

Oh, I don’t know. Personalities alter, they don’t change. Usually.

      • 31 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister August 20, 2014 at 15:38

Okay. So bad choice of words. May he never change, but I am not so nieve as to think they will not alter at least for a bit. One day high school will be rough, I bet.

      • 32 Professor VJ Duke August 20, 2014 at 19:48

*nods* Yes, high school is. But he’ll be fine!

      • 33 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister August 20, 2014 at 20:39

Yes, he’ll be great. He is great.

      • 34 Professor VJ Duke August 21, 2014 at 00:44

Just send him with a sword.

      • 35 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister August 21, 2014 at 01:56

Okay. Because that sounds rational and highly likely… *bumps you into the wall*

      • 36 Professor VJ Duke August 21, 2014 at 13:43

He could slice up anyone that got his way! Did I tell you I was an Epic?

      • 37 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister August 21, 2014 at 18:35

Oh, come on… No, what’s Epic?

      • 38 Professor VJ Duke August 22, 2014 at 13:32

They’re from a book called Stealheart, which I just read. Apparently, something happened, and regular people got super powers. They’re called epics. But, when they use their powers, they became very mean.

      • 39 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister August 22, 2014 at 14:15

        Oh, sounds interesting!

      • 40 Professor VJ Duke August 23, 2014 at 16:39

        I liked it. *shy smile*

      • 41 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister August 23, 2014 at 17:19

How did you hear about it?

      • 42 Professor VJ Duke August 24, 2014 at 17:39

Nick gave it to me, actually.

      • 43 Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister August 24, 2014 at 19:42

        He knows what you like.

      • 44 Professor VJ Duke August 25, 2014 at 13:29

        He does, it’s true.

  5. 45 erinkenobi2893 August 14, 2014 at 18:04

Hey! Zez is not allowed to use Obi-Wan’s trick for evil! Obi-Wan isn’t going to be pleased when I tell him about this!

    • 46 erinkenobi2893 August 14, 2014 at 18:05

And that singing… I’m not sure whether to to die laughing or to just die! :-P

      • 47 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:34

*laughs* Was it funny? Definitely catches one off guard, doesn’t it?

      • 48 erinkenobi2893 August 15, 2014 at 11:56

It was hilarious! I’m not sure which was funnier–Ruber’s or Schwarz’s! X-P

      • 49 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:41

*laughs* I know what you mean! I think Schwarz’s was more…melodious.

      • 50 erinkenobi2893 August 16, 2014 at 23:17

It was! :-P But his choice of song was also the funniest! :-P

      • 51 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 11:45

I wonder where he came up with it at.

      • 52 erinkenobi2893 August 18, 2014 at 12:16

Probably on the spot. He should get a medal for improvisation! :-P

      • 53 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 15:05

        He should!

      • 54 erinkenobi2893 August 19, 2014 at 11:58

        :-D *gives him one*

      • 55 Professor VJ Duke August 19, 2014 at 12:08

And Schwarz goes skipping off, singing. I think you made him happy.

      • 56 erinkenobi2893 August 19, 2014 at 12:22

        :-) Good.

    • 57 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:34

That’s an Obi-Wan trick? Remarkable! When did he use it?

      • 58 erinkenobi2893 August 15, 2014 at 11:55

To scare the Tusken Raiders away from Luke, rather than trying to fight them in “A New Hope.”

      • 59 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:40

Oh, that’s right! I do wish he would have fought them, though.

      • 60 erinkenobi2893 August 16, 2014 at 21:53

Why? Just ’cause “it would’ve been cool”?

      • 61 erinkenobi2893 August 16, 2014 at 23:17

Why? I don’t think he’d just ruthlessly slaughter them. Not in his character.

      • 62 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 11:44

That’s a good point. But they did hit Luck, you know.

      • 63 erinkenobi2893 August 18, 2014 at 12:16

        What???
        Now I’m confused…
Oh! Professor, his name is “LUKE,” not “Luck!”
Still, I don’t think he’d slaughter them all.

      • 64 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 15:05

*laughs* Too true! I messed that up. I suppose you’re right.

      • 65 erinkenobi2893 August 19, 2014 at 11:57

        :-P Dear me. :-P

      • 66 Professor VJ Duke August 19, 2014 at 12:07

        ==]:{)-

      • 67 erinkenobi2893 August 19, 2014 at 12:22

Where’s the bowtie??? I seem to remember there was a bow tie… :-/

      • 68 Professor VJ Duke August 19, 2014 at 20:24

You’re right: something is missing. Is it the bow tie?

      • 69 erinkenobi2893 August 20, 2014 at 11:52

I think it is…. unless you gave it to the Doctor? I don’t know.

      • 70 Professor VJ Duke August 20, 2014 at 13:35

He probably stole it. I wonder what’d he think of the professor.

      • 71 erinkenobi2893 August 21, 2014 at 00:36

        I doubt it. And I’m not sure…

      • 72 Professor VJ Duke August 21, 2014 at 00:53

        I’d cut his head off.

      • 73 erinkenobi2893 August 21, 2014 at 14:28

The Doctor doesn’t steal things. (I know that much…) It’s probably Zez or the Veezler’s fault about the missing bow tie…

      • 74 Professor VJ Duke August 22, 2014 at 13:09

The Veezler would nab it in a second.

      • 75 erinkenobi2893 August 22, 2014 at 13:20

Then he probably has it. We should go steal it back from him.

      • 76 Professor VJ Duke August 22, 2014 at 13:39

Yes, let’s do it. Bring some pies. They would work wonders.

      • 77 erinkenobi2893 August 22, 2014 at 14:04

*grabs a pie in either hand, and stows mop in a sling across my back, slides frying pan into a convenient space of my belt* I’m READY!!! :-D

      • 78 Professor VJ Duke August 23, 2014 at 16:28

*laughing* *grabs a few grub pies* Let’s go!

      • 79 erinkenobi2893 August 23, 2014 at 17:00

:-D This is going to be such fun. :-)

      • 80 Professor VJ Duke August 24, 2014 at 17:34

        Too much fun!

      • 81 erinkenobi2893 August 24, 2014 at 21:09

Really? Is there any such thing???

      • 82 Professor VJ Duke August 25, 2014 at 13:34

No, I don’t think so. But some people do.

      • 83 erinkenobi2893 August 25, 2014 at 13:34

        They must be strange, then.

      • 84 Professor VJ Duke August 25, 2014 at 13:42

        Yes. And Jedi.

      • 85 erinkenobi2893 August 25, 2014 at 14:17

Nah, I know a lot of Jedi who play pranks. Even Master Windu does.

      • 86 Professor VJ Duke August 25, 2014 at 20:28

        Oh, he does not!

      • 87 erinkenobi2893 August 25, 2014 at 20:43

Yes, actually, he does. Mostly by setting Padawans on to steal Yoda’s walking stick.

      • 88 Professor VJ Duke August 26, 2014 at 12:31

        He does that? A wonder!

      • 89 erinkenobi2893 August 26, 2014 at 13:04

Yes, he does. Mainly because Yoda is indiscriminate in who he whacks.

      • 90 Professor VJ Duke August 26, 2014 at 22:17

*nods* Yeah, I’ve heard about that. We should just break his stick.

      • 91 erinkenobi2893 August 27, 2014 at 13:48

Also, Master Windu has been known to prank the other Council members on April Fools’ Day. :-P

      • 92 Professor VJ Duke August 27, 2014 at 14:05

I did not know this about him!

      • 93 erinkenobi2893 August 27, 2014 at 20:41

No, you didn’t. He has to keep it quiet, otherwise Yoda will whack his shins and other people will be shocked.

      • 94 Professor VJ Duke August 28, 2014 at 13:31

*laughing* Palpatine would never let that happen to him! He’s a master to respect, you see.

      • 95 erinkenobi2893 August 28, 2014 at 15:32

You’d be surprised. Next time you see him, ask Obi-Wan about the molasses incident and the lettuce on Sidious’ ears.

      • 96 Professor VJ Duke August 28, 2014 at 16:59

*eyes widen* Goodness me! I’ll have to! You should maybe tell the story.

      • 97 erinkenobi2893 August 28, 2014 at 20:28

No, no. He tells it much better than I do. I’ll have him tell it to me and write it down when I have time. (Sorry. I just got overly busy with school. :-/)

      • 98 Professor VJ Duke August 28, 2014 at 23:24

(I understand, Erin! Good luck and don’t worry about it.)

      • 99 erinkenobi2893 August 29, 2014 at 00:52

Thanks. :-) It helps when there’s no pressure.

      • 100 Professor VJ Duke August 29, 2014 at 12:57

        Oh, I understand that.

      • 101 erinkenobi2893 August 29, 2014 at 13:06

        :-)

  6. 102 Lady Cheetah August 14, 2014 at 16:13

SW can sing. I never knew he had skills like that. He could go places you know…

    • 103 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:33

Certainly you’re not serious, are you, Lady? I mean…really????

      • 104 Lady Cheetah August 14, 2014 at 21:44

That was a pretty good tune. Now if you really want to showcase his talent then why not sign him up on Punchy Land’s Got Talent and we will really see what he is made of….

      • 105 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 23:16

You know, Lady, that’s a very good idea! We should do something like that. Though, I warrant DS will want to sing too…what should be done about that?

      • 106 Lady Cheetah August 14, 2014 at 23:43

Let him and yank him off the stage right before he gets good and warmed up…lol

      • 107 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:29

*laughs* How cruel to such a sweet creature!

  7. 108 Susan P August 14, 2014 at 15:21

Perfect. Simply perfect. I wish I could have been there to help Zez scare the bejeebers out of them.

    • 109 FictionFan August 14, 2014 at 15:57

      Hallo, Susan! *waves and smiles*

    • 110 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:20

*laughing* Love the angle you’re taking here! (And so, so glad to see you about!!!) You wouldn’t scare poor DS, would you?

      • 111 Susan P August 14, 2014 at 21:59

Only if I thought it would be fun. grin

      • 112 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 23:16

You wouldn’t scare the professor, would you???

      • 113 Susan P August 15, 2014 at 00:37

        I don’t know. Would I?

      • 114 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:29

Nah! At least, I hope not.

      • 115 Susan P August 16, 2014 at 18:50

        Keep that thought. :)

      • 116 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:53

Now what do I do with it?

      • 117 Susan P August 16, 2014 at 18:57

Seriously? It’s your thought. How would I know what you should do next?

      • 118 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 11:40

Well, you might–just might–have a better idea how to lose it.

      • 119 Susan P August 18, 2014 at 23:21

        Why do you think that?

      • 120 Professor VJ Duke August 19, 2014 at 01:28

I’m not sure. Don’t you sort my mind?

      • 121 Susan P August 20, 2014 at 00:38

No. I stick with the Sorting Hat. Never steers me wrong. grin

      • 122 Professor VJ Duke August 20, 2014 at 13:22

        What’s a sorting hat?

      • 123 Susan P August 20, 2014 at 13:50

I am not allowed to talk about it. ;)

      • 124 Professor VJ Duke August 20, 2014 at 19:39

        I thought as much! Dadblamery.

      • 125 Susan P August 20, 2014 at 21:17

I’d hate to think what might happen if I talked.

      • 126 Professor VJ Duke August 21, 2014 at 00:47

        The gremlins might come.

      • 127 Susan P August 21, 2014 at 15:36

        Are they anything like Grimms?

      • 128 Professor VJ Duke August 22, 2014 at 13:22

Yes, absolutely. I think so, that is.

      • 129 Susan P August 22, 2014 at 13:58

        That’s a grim outlook.

      • 130 Professor VJ Duke August 23, 2014 at 16:13

        But not for the professor.

      • 131 Susan P August 23, 2014 at 17:56

Oh, I don’t know. Sooner or later it will catch up with you.

      • 132 Professor VJ Duke August 24, 2014 at 17:43

        And bulldoze me!

      • 133 Susan P August 24, 2014 at 19:28

Or throw you into a snow bank come winter.

      • 134 Professor VJ Duke August 25, 2014 at 13:27

        Which would be fun.

      • 135 Susan P August 25, 2014 at 13:53

If we made an igloo, you’d be set for the winter snows.

      • 136 Professor VJ Duke August 25, 2014 at 20:26

That’s true. I’d take George with me.

      • 137 Susan P August 25, 2014 at 20:58

Probably he would rather cut off his tail than go to a winter climate.

      • 138 Professor VJ Duke August 26, 2014 at 12:38

Well, he wouldn’t be allowed outside! Though, it’d be like living in an ice castle.

      • 139 Susan P August 26, 2014 at 18:32

As long as no one would let him go.

      • 140 Professor VJ Duke August 26, 2014 at 22:27

        He’s an adventurer, I know.

      • 141 Susan P August 27, 2014 at 01:36

        Nods. Yep/

      • 142 Professor VJ Duke August 27, 2014 at 13:58

        Good for him!

  8. 143 weggieboy August 14, 2014 at 15:06

Whew! Erm…yeah, still dry! Good! Well, that was scary, but Schwarz’s singing took aware my fears! Delightful little ditty, that.

    • 144 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:19

*laughing* It was creative, now that I think on it. And he just sang it, too.

  9. 145 L. Marie August 14, 2014 at 14:57

Schwarz’s singing made me laugh out loud!
Love the forest scene! But how scary! At least Manly-Man is there.

    • 146 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:19

*laughing* It was shocking, I admit. And true. MM was there. Though he didn’t seem very concerned.

  10. 147 Bethy August 14, 2014 at 14:49

That was lovely! And the singing just made the whole thing. I do love singing!
I went on a walk once in a Forest that made me feel like I was lost. You know trees all look the same after awhile. I wasn’t lost though and there was no scary Zez growling either thank goodness.

    • 148 Susan P August 14, 2014 at 15:19

Was that the hike over in that hammock where they filmed The Yearling?

      • 149 Bethy August 14, 2014 at 15:21

It was! How did you know? :)

      • 150 Susan P August 14, 2014 at 15:22

Because I was in that hike and remember every painstaking step of it. *laughing*

      • 151 Bethy August 14, 2014 at 15:26

ah ha! And I’ve gone two other times without you! It never gets any less scary!

      • 152 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:20

        I bet I was around.

      • 153 Susan P August 14, 2014 at 22:01

I would not be surprised. Professorish types are full of curious jazz..

      • 154 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 23:16

        Quite right! Lots of jazz.

      • 155 Susan P August 15, 2014 at 00:38

        And pizzazz.

      • 156 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:29

        But no sparkles.

      • 157 Susan P August 16, 2014 at 18:51

        No, just some sparklers.

      • 158 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:53

        I could see that…

      • 159 Susan P August 16, 2014 at 18:58

Yes!!! And maybe some chocolate covered cherries. :)

      • 160 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 11:40

        Lots of those!

      • 161 Susan P August 18, 2014 at 23:21

        And what else?

      • 162 Professor VJ Duke August 19, 2014 at 01:28

        A katana or two?

      • 163 Susan P August 20, 2014 at 00:39

        Yes! and a button factory.

      • 164 Professor VJ Duke August 20, 2014 at 13:23

Buttons? Oh…that’s for the ladies only.

      • 165 Susan P August 20, 2014 at 13:51

Oh no they are not. This is a colonial scenario.

      • 166 Professor VJ Duke August 20, 2014 at 19:39

        Then I need a musket.

      • 167 Susan P August 20, 2014 at 21:18

        And a powder bag.

      • 168 Professor VJ Duke August 21, 2014 at 00:47

Is that where they kept powdered sugar?

      • 169 Susan P August 21, 2014 at 15:37

        Mixed right in, yes.

      • 170 Professor VJ Duke August 22, 2014 at 13:22

So it was a snack as well

      • 171 Susan P August 22, 2014 at 14:02

For a real treat! Snap, Crackle, Pop!!

      • 172 Professor VJ Duke August 23, 2014 at 16:15

*Laughs* And then no throat, I guess.

      • 173 Susan P August 23, 2014 at 17:57

You’d go out in a blur of glory. Not everyone can do that.

      • 174 Professor VJ Duke August 24, 2014 at 17:43

Haha…not sure many want that, thought!

      • 175 Susan P August 24, 2014 at 19:29

        Maybe the Marines do?

      • 176 Professor VJ Duke August 25, 2014 at 13:27

        Good point.

      • 177 Susan P August 25, 2014 at 13:54

*starts whistling* From the Halls of Montezuma…

      • 178 Professor VJ Duke August 25, 2014 at 20:26

Professorish confession: I thought he was a she for the longest time…

      • 179 Susan P August 25, 2014 at 20:59

        Why did you think that?

      • 180 Professor VJ Duke August 26, 2014 at 12:38

I don’t know! I think it had to do with Civilizations III.

      • 181 Susan P August 26, 2014 at 18:39

        Yeah, that’s pretty gnarly stuff.

      • 182 Professor VJ Duke August 26, 2014 at 22:27

Isn’t it?? I felt stupid for a very long time.

      • 183 Susan P August 27, 2014 at 01:34

Never say it! Stupid? The Professor? I refuse to countenance such nonsense.

      • 184 Professor VJ Duke August 27, 2014 at 13:57

Aw, that’s so nice of you! But there must be a reason why I always lose.

      • 185 Susan P August 27, 2014 at 15:44

And my philosophy is that you don’t know who the winners and losers are until the game is over.

      • 186 Professor VJ Duke August 27, 2014 at 19:36

        That’s a great philosophy. And since I never finish a game…

      • 187 Susan P August 27, 2014 at 20:11

        Really ? Why is that?

      • 188 Professor VJ Duke August 28, 2014 at 13:28

They take so dadblame long! I don’t usually play anymore. Have you ever played?

      • 189 Susan P August 28, 2014 at 21:38

I like to play with people’s minds. GRIN

      • 190 Professor VJ Duke August 28, 2014 at 23:31

Yes, even the professorish ones, I fear.

      • 191 Susan P August 29, 2014 at 12:57

Never say it! You make me weep. ;)

      • 192 Professor VJ Duke August 29, 2014 at 13:04

*laughs* But I think it’s true!

      • 193 Susan P August 29, 2014 at 16:50

        Busted, I suppose.

      • 194 Professor VJ Duke August 29, 2014 at 20:38

        Well, you’ve already busted me!

      • 195 Susan P August 29, 2014 at 23:28

Would I do such a dastardly deed? Never say it. *sniffle*

      • 196 Professor VJ Duke August 30, 2014 at 18:09

        I shan’t mention it again.

      • 197 Susan P August 31, 2014 at 18:29

        Squinty-eyes.

      • 198 Professor VJ Duke August 31, 2014 at 19:08

        *laughs* You don’t believe me!

      • 199 Susan P September 1, 2014 at 12:51

Hah! whenever you make pronouncements like that, I get the sense that you’ve been out walking around in the bull pen.

      • 200 Professor VJ Duke September 1, 2014 at 14:06

        *grumbles* Well, maybe I have!

      • 201 Susan P September 2, 2014 at 00:09

Is that an admission of some sort?

      • 202 Professor VJ Duke September 2, 2014 at 01:07

*gulp* Susan knows too much about the professor!

      • 203 Susan P September 2, 2014 at 13:06

        http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=I+Know+Nothing+Schultz&Form=VQFRVP#view=detail&mid=BF05E3BC816A8E0D9EB6BF05E3BC816A8E0D9EB6

      • 204 Professor VJ Duke September 2, 2014 at 19:18

*laughing lots and lots and lots and lots*

      • 205 Susan P September 3, 2014 at 19:33

I used to watch F-Troop all of the time.

      • 206 Professor VJ Duke September 3, 2014 at 20:42

        Was it good?

      • 207 Susan P September 3, 2014 at 20:57

        It was pretty funny.

      • 208 Professor VJ Duke September 3, 2014 at 23:52

I should hunt for it, then.

      • 209 Susan P September 4, 2014 at 01:34

It had a long stretch of seasons.

      • 210 Professor VJ Duke September 4, 2014 at 12:31

        It was successful, then.

      • 211 Susan P September 4, 2014 at 16:23

Apparently. As some count success. :D

      • 212 Professor VJ Duke September 4, 2014 at 20:02

        Spit-tooey!

      • 213 Susan P September 4, 2014 at 20:06

Hey! Give me your hanky so I can wipe my face.

      • 214 Professor VJ Duke September 4, 2014 at 20:09

        I don’t have one…here’s a box.

      • 215 Susan P September 4, 2014 at 20:15

There’s nothing in the box? What th’ hay?

      • 216 Professor VJ Duke September 5, 2014 at 00:56

Susan swore at me! Umm… *laughs* I should get a hanky…

      • 217 Susan P September 5, 2014 at 13:00

Dadblameit I did not swear at you. Hankies are handy.

      • 218 Professor VJ Duke September 5, 2014 at 18:26

You did now! *laughing* They sure are. For bloody wounds!

      • 219 Susan P September 5, 2014 at 19:32

Well, it’s your fault. I never used to swear until I visited the PL.

      • 220 Professor VJ Duke September 6, 2014 at 15:49

        *laughing* Yeah…me neither!

      • 221 Susan P September 6, 2014 at 17:18

And if I believe that you will try to sell me some land in the nearest swamp.

      • 222 Professor VJ Duke September 8, 2014 at 01:00

I do have some, if you’d like some.

      • 223 Susan P September 9, 2014 at 19:47

Heck no. I live in Florida; it’s all swamp.

      • 224 Professor VJ Duke September 10, 2014 at 15:19

        With mosquitoes.

      • 225 Susan P September 10, 2014 at 18:03

        Three species of them.

      • 226 Professor VJ Duke September 10, 2014 at 18:16

        Yucketh!

      • 227 Susan P September 10, 2014 at 23:08

There’s a lot of blood let around here this time of year.

      • 228 Professor VJ Duke September 11, 2014 at 15:42

        Lots of itchy bites!

      • 229 Susan P September 11, 2014 at 21:48

        Yep. Lots and lots dadblameit.

      • 230 Professor VJ Duke September 12, 2014 at 12:54

        What dadblamery for sure.

      • 231 Susan P September 12, 2014 at 19:49

        times four

      • 232 Professor VJ Duke September 13, 2014 at 18:14

        Wowawee!

      • 233 Susan P September 13, 2014 at 18:33

They are especially obnoxious in September.

      • 234 Professor VJ Duke September 13, 2014 at 18:34

        Yes, I’ve noticed, I think.

      • 235 Susan P September 15, 2014 at 14:40

What sort of behavior did you notice?

      • 236 Professor VJ Duke September 15, 2014 at 22:19

        The obnoxious type.

      • 237 Susan P September 16, 2014 at 00:06

Do the mirrors tell you when you are obnoxious?

      • 238 Professor VJ Duke September 16, 2014 at 13:28

        I never use mirrors…unless I need a shaving.

      • 239 Susan P September 16, 2014 at 17:52

You need some more assertive mirrors, then.

      • 240 Professor VJ Duke September 17, 2014 at 14:16

        I’ll break them!

      • 241 Susan P September 17, 2014 at 14:52

Well that explains the reason you have such bad luck in the PL

      • 242 Professor VJ Duke September 17, 2014 at 20:04

        *laughing* Aha!

      • 243 Susan P September 17, 2014 at 23:34

What are you going to do about it?

    • 244 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:18

*laughs* Wasn’t Schwarz up there? I mean, the range and all.

      Did you meet a cougar?

      • 245 Bethy August 18, 2014 at 22:52

        Schwarz was up there!
I did not thank goodness. Not even a bear. Only a rabbit once. I think I make enough noise in the woods to scare everyone off and that’s a good thing in my opinion.

      • 246 Professor VJ Duke August 19, 2014 at 01:27

It is a great thing. I make a lot of noise, too. I wish I was more like an Indian, you know.

      • 247 Bethy August 19, 2014 at 09:50

Sometimes I wish I was more like an Indian! It’s pretty hard in FL forests though. There’s just stuff growing all over the place.

      • 248 Professor VJ Duke August 19, 2014 at 12:04

        Poison Ivy! Goodness.

      • 249 Bethy August 20, 2014 at 13:28

Um…haven’t seen that. But stuff grows overnight sometimes. Just bushes and branches and brush.

      • 250 Professor VJ Duke August 20, 2014 at 13:42

Lots of cutting and trimming, I bet!

      • 251 Bethy August 21, 2014 at 15:12

Yup. Mostly my husband’s job though. I make sure he has the right tools and the time to do it, so I help out that way.

      • 252 Professor VJ Duke August 22, 2014 at 13:16

Which is a big help, I know!

  11. 253 Simply Skeptical August 14, 2014 at 13:53

Unnerving today Prof. Nice forest pictures and sound effects. Zez is a bad boy. Maybe he needs a real job.

    • 254 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 13:56

Unnerving? But why? MM was there. And Schwarz. They’d be able to protect everyone. Oh! But didn’t it seem that DS knew something the others didn’t’?

      • 255 Simply Skeptical August 14, 2014 at 22:29

Unnerving because desolate forests with unseen roars give me the chills. MM wasn’t sounding his usual protective self and Daddy S. is always a step ahead of the rest. Zez is creepiest of all!

      • 256 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 23:17

*laughs* I see what you mean! But Ruber, you know, is rather spicy. He is, isn’t he? The little orange beast!

  12. 257 PorterGirl August 14, 2014 at 13:45

Oooh Zez is so naughty! But Schwarz clearly has hidden talents. He should go on X Factor (or probably American Idol or whatever the PL version is). Daniel is so funny with DS. I am surprised MM didn’t try to fight the dinosaur – but what a legend he is anyway!

Really loved this – fantastic, team!

    • 258 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 13:55

Zez is! But that’s what we love about him! Really? Do you suppose Schwarz’s singing was that good? I suppose it was. I mean, he wrote whatever he was singing. I never heard it before, that is.

Good point about MM. I bet he just wasn’t taking it too seriously, you know. If he was…he would have hunted it! But, even MM would probably stay away from Zez. No reason to get into such a confrontation!

      Thanks bunches, Lucy!

      • 259 PorterGirl August 14, 2014 at 14:30

Zez is the bad guy we all love to hate. Is he a bad guy? His voice kind of makes him sound like a bad guy. He is awesome, either way.

Schwarz was pretty good, and creative, too. In fact, he couple probably with the UK X Factor!

I think MM was just going along with the whole thing, maybe to see if someone else would be manly for a change.

      • 260 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:15

I fear he is rather dastardly. But…usually, he likes to be left alone. He’s solitary, but deadly.

No! Really? It’s impossible! The judges would probably dislike him.

*nods* Absolutely, that’s my opinion. Though we can’t be sure. I should tweet him and find out. *laughs*

      • 261 PorterGirl August 15, 2014 at 07:25

Solitary but deadly. I like that in a… creature. What exactly is Zez, anyway? He is super awesome, even if he is dastardly.

You should see some of the people that get put through in X Factor. Schwarz is positively a star in comparison.

I must tweet MM soon. I have been rather remise with Twitter recently. I hope he doesn’t think I am ignoring him.

      • 262 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:38

He’s a gremlin. No…I forget what word it is. But, he’s like a gremlin, at least.

*laughs* I should put him on! Wonder if he’d get through…Perhaps!

I should see what he’s been tweeting, too! I don’t really use Twitter.

      • 263 PorterGirl August 17, 2014 at 08:05

I am rubbish on social media. I think I only ever tweet pictures of flowers to you *laughs*

      • 264 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 11:46

        *laughing* It’s a vexing wonder!

  13. 265 FictionFan August 14, 2014 at 13:39

*laughed so hard head fell off* Wondrous!!! it seems like ages since we’ve had one of these skits – and what a brilliant one! Schwarzy!!! Oh, Schwarzy!!! What a fantastic singer! And then when he growled!! He’s just…the perfect man! And then lovely Daniel too – I love the way he sticks up for himself with that rude old sausage. And lovely, gurgling Zez!

Brilliant, Prof and team! Encore! Encore!!!

    • 266 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 13:54

*laughs* *and biggest smile ever* But I hope your head is fine! It has been some time, for sure. We’re getting back on track, though.

It was a neatio little thing that Schwarz sang. Surprised me! It was very high, wasn’t it? But…what about poor Ruber? *laughing*

*bows* Well, something different next week, though. Hope you like it!

      • 267 FictionFan August 14, 2014 at 16:08

Ooh, you look just like Woola! I’ve glued it back on, but it’s a bit wobbly and I seem to be able to see behind me now. As soon as I heard the music, I realised how much I miss these…

It was superb – did he write it himself? The words were so poignant and poetical, and he has the voice of an angel – a deeply moving experience! *sighs contentedly* Oh Ruber! He’s so…silly!

Well, I might, but you know I’m a tough audience… *sternly critical face*

      • 268 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:33

*laughs* Woola…I’d rather be a Thark, please. *laughing lots more* No! That’s horrid. Have Tuppence set it straight. Symph did do nice music. Better than the ripios? (There’s not right or wrong answer, you know.)

He did! Actually, he was supposed to just sing. And…that happened. A wonder! An angel? *gulp* Really???? Dadblameit! Poor Ruber! He’s the sweet one!

        I’ll be in it!

      • 269 FictionFan August 15, 2014 at 13:27

Tharks don’t smile much though – how about a Thoat? Huh! You think I trust Tuppence? Steals my Professor away from me and…and…chuckles!! Little beast! He did, but then he always does.

No, not better! To be honest, I love the variety – if you were just doing one thing all the time it wouldn’t be so much fun. But I’m afraid I love the aurtoons, the parodies AND the ripios. So don’t sit here chatting, get back to work!!

He’s just so talented it can’t help bursting out of him! I bet he’d make a fine guitarist too, given the chance… Ruber sweet? Huh! Like grizzly bears are cuddly…!

Not just in it – you’ll be the star! *orders in extra popcorn and a magnifying glass*

      • 270 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:50

A thoat? Too non-vicoius, I fear. *laughing* She is a beast! (You could always harpoon her.)

Variety! Yes, that’s because I get sick of the same thing, too. Okay, madam! Back to work it is…

I bet he’s…fingerless!!! Grizzly bears are cuddly!

Well, I’ll be the annoying narrator. I’ll fuzz out my picture!

      • 271 FictionFan August 17, 2014 at 22:15

(What?!? Wait till I tell her you said that!!)

        Good!

Sooo jealous! Well, maybe Ruber should cuddle one then…

No, that role wouldn’t suit you – you’ll have to be the cute narrator instead. (Won’t be able to fuzz it out of my imagination…)

      • 272 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 11:48

        (You’re on speaking terms? Rats.)

I bet he could kill one!

        Oh yes I will!

  14. 273 Julie Harris August 14, 2014 at 13:12

I didn’t know Schwartz had such a hidden talent… his singing was superb!

    • 274 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 13:49

*laughs* And you know, I think that’s his own song. Wasn’t it a bit…well…high?

  15. 275 K. A. Brace August 14, 2014 at 13:11

“Beware the Jabberwock my son…” >KB

    • 276 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 13:48

But why? Could it eat you?

      • 277 Susan P August 14, 2014 at 15:23

I heard that a baby Jabberwock could eat a dinosaur in one bite.

      • 278 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:21

Goodness! What does it look like, I wonder?

      • 279 Susan P August 14, 2014 at 22:03

May I refer you to this site? http://www.lyrics007.com/Alice%20In%20Wonderland%20Lyrics/The%20Jabberwocky%20Lyrics.html

      • 280 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 23:17

Many thanks! But it looks as if he died. Not a very great beast, is he?

      • 281 Susan P August 15, 2014 at 00:39

        It’s tough to be him.

      • 282 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:30

I don’t see why! He seems powerful enough.

      • 283 Susan P August 16, 2014 at 18:52

        It only takes one slip…

      • 284 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:54

I suppose so. He should retire and eat berries.

      • 285 Susan P August 16, 2014 at 18:58

I don’t see that happening. He’d probably end up throwing them at people.

      • 286 Professor VJ Duke August 18, 2014 at 11:41

Which might be a good thing. Berries can’t hurt, I say.

      • 287 Susan P August 18, 2014 at 23:22

It depends. Are you sure you know all of the berries in the PL?

      • 288 Professor VJ Duke August 19, 2014 at 01:29

        Not positive, you know.

      • 289 Susan P August 20, 2014 at 00:40

        Oh dear. Be careful, Professor.

      • 290 Professor VJ Duke August 20, 2014 at 13:23

If I die, burry me in the ravine.

      • 291 Susan P August 20, 2014 at 13:52

        I can’t do that unless I have a burro.

      • 292 Professor VJ Duke August 20, 2014 at 19:39

        I’d like a burro.

      • 293 Susan P August 20, 2014 at 21:18

        A talking one?

      • 294 Professor VJ Duke August 21, 2014 at 00:47

        If possible, I suppose so.

      • 295 Susan P August 21, 2014 at 15:41

One of the prophets of Moab had a talking donkey.

      • 296 Professor VJ Duke August 22, 2014 at 13:23

        True! I love that story.

      • 297 Susan P August 22, 2014 at 14:03

I wish someone had had a camera that day…

      • 298 Professor VJ Duke August 23, 2014 at 16:16

Yes…did you know there’s lots of decedents of balaam’s ass?

      • 299 Susan P August 23, 2014 at 17:57

Yes, only too aware of them.

      • 300 Professor VJ Duke August 24, 2014 at 17:43

        *laughing* *and shakes head*

      • 301 Susan P August 24, 2014 at 19:30

        *mischievous grin*

      • 302 K. A. Brace August 14, 2014 at 18:31

Yes. though mostly it just tore people apart. See Alice in Wonderland. >KB

      • 303 Professor VJ Duke August 14, 2014 at 21:35

        I hope something killed it?

      • 304 K. A. Brace August 14, 2014 at 23:19

Read it and find out. Jaberwocky, by Lewis Carroll. >KB

      • 305 Professor VJ Duke August 16, 2014 at 18:29

        Aha! Well…it appears he does…die.
