Merry Christmas!!

So, Christmas is here. It sorta just sprang up and bit me in the toe, so to speak.

Must finish Christmas shopping and all of that. I’m horrible at shopping. The professor should be fighting, not shopping. That’s in case anyone asks you, see.

Anyways, Merry Christmas, guys! We love you all madly, and we’ll see you after Christmas sometime. (To finish the Jeweled Katana story!)

Now, here’s a video that sums up how I wrap gifts every year.

The music is from the Nutcracker Suite. The Russian Dance. Trepak. Guitar Orchestra.

See you on the other side of the slug battle!

    Hurrah! I love Tchaikovsky! :-D
And it sort of bit ME in the toe, too. Wonderful phrase. I think I shall borrow it semi-permanently. :-P

    • 2 Professor VJ Duke January 6, 2016 at 22:40

      Isn’t he awesome? *laughs* Semi-permantly! I think I”ll thieve that one…

      • 3 erinkenobi2893 January 7, 2016 at 04:59

You’re welcome to thieve it. I think I thieved it from someone else in the first place. x-P

      • 4 Professor VJ Duke January 7, 2016 at 14:49

It’s double thieved. Makes it that much better.

      • 5 erinkenobi2893 January 7, 2016 at 17:19

        Indeed! X-D

      • 6 Professor VJ Duke January 8, 2016 at 13:28

        *nods* Indeed.

      • 7 erinkenobi2893 January 8, 2016 at 15:45

Indeed is such a lovely word. :-P

      • 8 Professor VJ Duke January 8, 2016 at 19:32

        Isn’t it? So…final.

      • 9 erinkenobi2893 January 9, 2016 at 05:53

        Yes! *hugs you sneakily* X-P

      • 10 Professor VJ Duke January 11, 2016 at 14:05

Haha. A sneaky hug! Like it.

      • 11 erinkenobi2893 January 11, 2016 at 14:50

Sneaky hugs are fun. As are hug-and-tackle-sneaky-sessions. X-D

      • 12 Professor VJ Duke January 12, 2016 at 13:50

Oh yes! It’s almost like a battle then. I like those types.

      • 13 erinkenobi2893 January 12, 2016 at 14:00

Yes! I like trying to knock people over with those hugs X-D

      • 14 Professor VJ Duke January 12, 2016 at 19:07

It’s sorta like you won a war or something at that point.

      • 15 erinkenobi2893 January 13, 2016 at 06:00

Yes, indeed it is. Which is why I do it! *cannons randomly into the Doctor and knocks him over* Hello!

      • 16 Professor VJ Duke January 13, 2016 at 14:07

*jumps on too* This is fun.

      • 17 erinkenobi2893 January 13, 2016 at 14:31

Hugs are the best. X-D Only, Professor, you’re squishing me. :-P

      • 18 Professor VJ Duke January 13, 2016 at 23:45

Oh, very sorry. It’s my body armor.

      • 19 erinkenobi2893 January 14, 2016 at 05:33

Oh! Okay. ;-) *the Doctor stands up and grabs me by my ankles so my knees are hooked over his shoulders* Oh wow… not okay! I’m getting dizzy!

      • 20 Professor VJ Duke January 15, 2016 at 13:10

*bangs into the doctor and knocks everyone over*

      • 21 erinkenobi2893 January 15, 2016 at 18:50

*giggles madly as she tries to escape from underneath the Doctor* X-D

      • 22 Professor VJ Duke January 17, 2016 at 19:30

        Do tickle him a bit.

      • 23 erinkenobi2893 January 17, 2016 at 19:40

*prods the Doctor in the ribs* Hah!

      • 24 Professor VJ Duke January 18, 2016 at 20:01

        Did he die?

      • 25 erinkenobi2893 January 18, 2016 at 22:51

No. He’s ticklish! *tickles mercilessly* This is my Sith side! *maniacal laughter*

      • 26 Professor VJ Duke January 19, 2016 at 14:00

        *laugh* Embrace your ticklish nature!

      • 27 erinkenobi2893 January 20, 2016 at 13:50

Yesss!! X-P *gets picked up and moved aside* Whoa!

      • 28 Professor VJ Duke January 21, 2016 at 14:57

I think he’s cranky, the sudden.

      • 29 erinkenobi2893 January 21, 2016 at 16:19

I don’t know. *grins mischievously* *hugs the Doctor lots*

      • 30 Professor VJ Duke January 22, 2016 at 14:51

        *jumps on them again*

      • 31 erinkenobi2893 January 23, 2016 at 05:47

        Lots of luvs! X-P

  2. 32 Opinionated Man December 27, 2015 at 21:33

Merry Christmas to the Professor! I hope you had a great one!

    • 33 Professor VJ Duke December 29, 2015 at 19:52

Merry Christmas, Mr. OM! I did. And hope you had one, too. Happy New Year!!

      • 34 Opinionated Man December 29, 2015 at 20:14

Thank you! I hope you have a great one as well!

  3. 35 Susan P December 24, 2015 at 21:55

Merry Christmas and a spectacular year .

    • 36 Professor VJ Duke December 26, 2015 at 16:45

      To you too!

  4. 37 L. Marie December 21, 2015 at 14:36

    You’re a southpaw!!!!
I also hope several of those gifts were mine. I don’t mind a “unique” wrapping job. Just as long as the gifts are good.
Merry Christmas, Professor! Looking forward to new music in 2016.

    • 38 Professor VJ Duke December 22, 2015 at 15:31

How can you tell? You’re right, of course! #SouthpawsRock.

Right. Who cares about the wrapping anyway? Goodness.

Merry Christmas, Linda! Have a great one.

  5. 39 PorterGirl December 20, 2015 at 09:51

This is awesome, Professor! Here is wishing every last one of TPL a very, very Merry Christmas. (I hope none of those badly-wrapped presents were for me – teehee!)

    • 40 Professor VJ Duke December 21, 2015 at 14:20

*laughs* Now, now! The wrapping isn’t that important! Merry Christmas, Lucy!!

  6. 41 Esme upon the Cloud December 19, 2015 at 19:10

Felicitations from esme and the Cloud to one and all in the Punchy Lands!

    – esme dressed as an elf upon the Cloud

    • 42 Professor VJ Duke December 21, 2015 at 14:20

      Merry Christmas, Esme! And Sonmi.

      • 43 Esme upon the Cloud December 21, 2015 at 15:00

Thank you *smiles* (there is no sonmi at this address though *nods*). x

        esme upon the Cloud

      • 44 Professor VJ Duke December 22, 2015 at 15:31

        You threw her out!

      • 45 Esme upon the Cloud December 22, 2015 at 15:35

        Noooo, she’s in a trunk here! – https://sonmicloud.wordpress.com/2015/12/05/transmogrification/

      • 46 Professor VJ Duke December 22, 2015 at 15:41

        Ohhhhhh, I see!

      • 47 Esme upon the Cloud December 22, 2015 at 15:43

*nods* – have you seen how well you did in this year’s Christmas Panto on the Cloud yet? *laughs*.

        – esme hiding behind the Cloud

      • 48 Professor VJ Duke December 23, 2015 at 16:25

Oh wow! *laughing* I love the part about the katana…

      • 49 Esme upon the Cloud December 23, 2015 at 18:55

Hahahaha. I made you a wolf too! No one else did that well! *nods* – No gold thong or farting either. * laughs*.

        – esme the director upon the Cloud

      • 50 Professor VJ Duke December 26, 2015 at 16:44

I’m sorta a wolf, you know.

      • 51 Esme upon the Cloud December 26, 2015 at 18:04

Well yes, all the laydeez know that. *winks*.

        – esme laughing upon the Cloud

      • 52 Professor VJ Duke December 29, 2015 at 19:49

Well everyone knows I’m horridly vicious.

  7. 53 Debbie December 19, 2015 at 15:50

I have only myself to kick for not turning on my computer Friday and missing out on this delightful post, Professor! Well done — the playing and filming, of course. As for that wrap-fest, well, I hate to say it, but you remind me of Domer. He is “wrapping challenged,” as well. Gift bags were invented for folks like y’all, you know! And, by the way, tell me you didn’t really eat that entire bowl of oatmeal — I don’t even want to think about how that glue sticks to your innards!! Merry Christmas, Sir — see you on the flip side!!

    • 54 Professor VJ Duke December 21, 2015 at 14:19

But…now be honest, don’t you like getting a wrapped package better than one that is in a bag? You know you do! Poor Domer and I. We should get together and brainstorm on this wrapping thingy.

Thanks bunches! I love doing guitar orchestras. They’re such fun. And the wrapping was really fun, can you believe. A first.

      Merry Christmas, Debbie!

  8. 55 Simply Skeptical December 19, 2015 at 03:00

Wow! hmm.. well did you ever use that blue ribbon? It’s certainly obvious the Christmas Spirit is within…. LOL

    • 56 Professor VJ Duke December 21, 2015 at 14:17

Haha. I did use it. Sorta. In a roundabout way.

  9. 57 John W. Howell December 18, 2015 at 23:55

    Enjoyed the music as well.

    • 58 Professor VJ Duke December 21, 2015 at 14:17

A guitar orchestra! The guitar is so amazing. *bows*

      • 59 John W. Howell December 21, 2015 at 17:59

        Under the right care.

      • 60 Professor VJ Duke December 22, 2015 at 15:36

True. I’ve heard some really scary things come from a guitar.

      • 61 John W. Howell December 22, 2015 at 18:01

Yes. That’s why it is good to have a competent person in charge.

      • 62 Professor VJ Duke December 23, 2015 at 16:32

You know, I’ve come to the conclusion competent people are overrated!

      • 63 John W. Howell December 23, 2015 at 16:48

Sometimes overrated people are not competent.

      • 64 Professor VJ Duke December 26, 2015 at 16:43

        That’s a good point. Goodness.

      • 65 John W. Howell December 26, 2015 at 19:14

        :-)

  10. 66 John W. Howell December 18, 2015 at 23:55

Merry Christmas professor. I fee your pain on the wrapping.

    • 67 Professor VJ Duke December 21, 2015 at 14:16

Merry Christmas, John! We need to hire professional gift wrappers.

      • 68 John W. Howell December 21, 2015 at 18:00

I agree. I like the idea of tossing a gift at a person.

      • 69 Professor VJ Duke December 22, 2015 at 15:36

        Especially if it’s heavy.

      • 70 John W. Howell December 22, 2015 at 17:55

Think of the surprised look on their face as they receive an airborne gift.

      • 71 Professor VJ Duke December 23, 2015 at 16:32

It could break the gift, tho… Not that that matters, of course.

      • 72 John W. Howell December 23, 2015 at 16:49

Let’s see. Heavy gift, light head. I guess it could happen.

      • 73 Professor VJ Duke December 26, 2015 at 16:43

*laughs* It would make a splash.

      • 74 John W. Howell December 26, 2015 at 19:14

        Or a splat

      • 75 Professor VJ Duke December 29, 2015 at 19:49

        And generally, splats are better.

      • 76 John W. Howell December 29, 2015 at 22:58

        Well known at least.

  11. 77 Lady Dunamis December 18, 2015 at 21:55

    👏👏👏🎸🎶🎸

    • 78 Professor VJ Duke December 21, 2015 at 14:12

*bows* I think I deserve a halo, the sudden.

      • 79 Lady Dunamis December 21, 2015 at 16:10

Keep up this Christmas wickedness I might have to throw you in time out for three days and nights 🚢🐳🙏

      • 80 Professor VJ Duke December 22, 2015 at 15:35

In the belly of a whale? You would, too. *grumbles*

      • 81 Lady Dunamis December 22, 2015 at 17:08

        Yes! Merry Christmas PVJ 😇

      • 82 Professor VJ Duke December 23, 2015 at 16:30

        *steals Lady’s halo* Nice.

  12. 83 Haylee December 18, 2015 at 19:46

Is it wrong that I was super impressed with the designated wrapping paper storage?! Have a Merry Chrimble, hope it’s full of food and fun!

    • 84 Professor VJ Duke December 21, 2015 at 14:12

*laughs* Not at all! Isn’t that thingy handy? I mean, just look at it. A bit long, but hey. Merry Christmas, Haylee! (Even if you won’t tell me if the Sith dies!!)

      • 85 Haylee December 21, 2015 at 14:25

Haha, I shall tell you that no sith dies at the end as there is no sith to die… Merry SITHmas! (so hard to say!!)

      • 86 Professor VJ Duke December 22, 2015 at 15:31

        No Sith? *dies*

  13. 87 walt walker December 18, 2015 at 18:51

Why are you “wrapping” gifts? You should be firing them at folk.

Have a Merry one, good sir.

    • 88 Professor VJ Duke December 21, 2015 at 14:11

*laughing* Always making me laugh, Mr. Walt! I should get a cannon to fire them out of, I suppose. Hey, good christmas idea for you to give me…

You and yours have a splendid Christmas too, Mr. Walt.

  14. 89 Heartafire December 18, 2015 at 17:00

Merry Christmas Professor! Thank you for the lovely music, a gift to us all!

    • 90 Professor VJ Duke December 21, 2015 at 14:09

Hollie, a Merry Christmas to you as well! I’m an expert gift wrapper, as you can see.

      • 91 Heartafire December 21, 2015 at 15:07

I think we are running neck and neck for that honor. Did you ever slap a bow on a plastic bag?

      • 92 Professor VJ Duke December 22, 2015 at 15:34

Hmm. No…but I could, see. *slaps one on* Yes, the sudden.

  15. 93 FictionFan December 18, 2015 at 16:15

Oh! My invite to the party must have gone missing! But never mind… I’m on my way! You really shouldn’t have got me so many gifts though… are they all chocolate? I’m hoping very much for a chocolate Schwarzy this year… though a chocolate Clara would be fun too – I’d get so much pleasure out of eating her weaselly head…

Merry Christmas, Prof and team! I hope your stockings are well and truly stuffed! And don’t go near any trains in that robe…

    • 94 Professor VJ Duke December 21, 2015 at 14:09

Well, there’s some chocolate, a new camera, Alice Cooper’s greatest hits, and Pride, Prejudice & Zombies!! *laughs* With the hair tilting off to the side. It might be a wig. I wonder how she does that.

Merry Christmas to you, FEF! Hahaha. I do not look like him at all! He’s…fatter.

      • 95 FictionFan December 21, 2015 at 20:29

Ooh, that all sounds great! I’ve got you a water-pistol (actually it’s a water-semi-automatic-rifle-with-scope), some cherry liqueurs (which I might help you eat), a bicep-measuring gadget and Kenny’s Guide to Christmas Snorting! Poor girl probably has to sit with her head to the side for three hours every morning…

      • 96 Professor VJ Duke December 22, 2015 at 15:38

*laughing* Do you know, that sounds like the perfect Christmas spread to me? Capital. Except the Kenny part. Poor Kenny. I’m sure he’s playing sax right about now.

      • 97 FictionFan December 22, 2015 at 17:27

I’ve wrapped them just the way you like too – in scraps of unmatched paper. Should I throw them at you?

(I’ve just had a message saying my e-mail to you has been blocked for spam… twice! *laughs* I’m assuming it’s an error! So I’m resending to your Professorial address…)

      • 98 Professor VJ Duke December 23, 2015 at 16:31

*laughs* Okay, I’m actually a much better wrapper than that. I’m trained in the art of wrapping, see. Yes, please. *gets ready to catch*

(Seriously?! Gah!!!!!!!!!! I hate when comcast does this. Of course it’s an error! I didn’t get it at the professor address either. This is horrid.)

      • 99 FictionFan December 23, 2015 at 23:17

You are?!? Goodness, is there no end to your talents?? Could you pop over here tomorrow and wrap mine for me, please?

(*laughs* Blocked by both your e-mails!? That’s impressive. It must be… A Sign! You know what this means – no more fan mail! Bet you’re devastated… *chuckles*)

      • 100 Professor VJ Duke December 26, 2015 at 16:45

Well, I’m not that good at it. However, much better than in that video! Just stick them in bags, I say.

(I am, actually! Sometimes I really feel like blowing comcast up…)

      • 101 FictionFan December 27, 2015 at 16:50

Now you tell me! *peels bits of sticky tape off fingers*

(Aww! Well, maybe I should train up some carrier pigeons – or I could stand on top of a mountain and semaphore, though you might need a pretty powerful telescope… Not just comcast though if you didn’t get the Professorial one either! Maybe it’s Mic intercepting them again!)

      • 102 Professor VJ Duke December 29, 2015 at 19:51

The idea just struck me, the sudden, don’t you know.

Semaphore! That sounds sorta neatio. That’s a good point. I don’t know why it’s acting up! *rampage*

  16. 103 desertdweller29 December 18, 2015 at 15:46

Merry Christmas, Professor! btw, that is the WORST wrapping job in the world. Have Schwarz do it. Though somehow the beautiful music makes it all right. Have a great holiday! May all your warrior wishes come true and you receive battle gear for next year and a pocket knife to cut yourself down from the next net you find yourself in! xx

    • 104 Professor VJ Duke December 21, 2015 at 14:08

*laughs* True about that net. Now come on, DD! It can’t be the worst ever! I mean, I do better than a toddler, you must admit.

You have a very Merry Christmas, too!!!!
