Hiya! I write here to think through life and other vexing thoughts and ideas. Also, I hate writing. Yeah, go figure, ’cause I definitely can’t.
This professor would tell you a lot about himself, but inexplicably, I would end up telling you only uninteresting and dull particulars which would leave you crying in supreme boredom. In fact, you’d probably be left wondering why you had wanted to hear anything in the first place. So, I’ll just give you some dull facts:
(1) My favorite author is Mark Twain.
(2) I don’t like coffee or chocolate–much.
(3) Butterflies hate me, I think.
(4) I’m never quite myself.
(11) Pride and Prejudice scares me, but I haven’t had a nightmare yet.
(12) I’m heartless and a warrior.
(Yes, the numbers aren’t in order…oh well.)
That’s about it. *bows and his hat stays on*
I absolutely love this conversation. it is so hilarious. How can I follow your blog and read more.
I think there’s a follow thingy somewhere? I feel like a stranger in my own blog…
I can not find a way to follow you, but would like to read more :) Help!
Hm…this is vexing. Have you any ideas?
Well I went all over your page and did select a follow . Will have to wait for a new post in order to confirm it. I really enjoyed the comment section its so entertaining 🙂
Haha, yeah, everyone is so cool here…! I do need to post again soon here gosh. It’s been a while
Greetings, Professor! Three years ago you paid my humble blog a visit. Scrolling down today I found you again and said to myself “Now this looks to be a peculiar fellow (peculiar in a good way)” and here I am! Have a good day/night:)
hiiiiiiiiiii! I’ve been on an extended vacation, see. That’s what happens when you reach my age. Good to hear from you again, tho; I do hope you’re spicy!
I think you’ll agree with this: http://yeahwrite.co/post/87289946354 (I know I do, which is why I thought of you)
I love that! Good find, Bard. Now…how about some tea?
Sounds great! Scone?
Yes please! What sort is it?
Howdy, Professor! I’ve nominated your fabulous blog for a Liebster! The full instructions can be found here (http://reelredreviews.net/2016/02/21/2nd-liebster-award/), whenever you have time to attend to them – given your always busy agenda ;)
*bows* I think I’m going to do this this week! It’ll be brilliant. Thanks bunches and bunches!
It’s well deserved! And don’t feel rushed :)
Okay! I think I’ll do it Friday. I’m quite chuffed, don’t you know.
the professor doesn’t like chocolate or coffee….hmmm, the girl thinks…could we be friends??? but wait!!…the professor collects old coins…he’d appreciate the girl’s wheat back penny collection for sure!
Well, see, of course, ’cause you’d end up getting all my chocolate and coffee. See how that works? I sure would! Do you really have a collection like that?
yep! i have six! (how’s that for impressive!!!) and i keep them in a special place with a selection of other special and small things.
I’m like…very impressed! That is super cool. Soon, you might have seven! Imagine that.
This is a nomination. It’s rather important, you see.
Thanks bunches! I’ll get right to this. *bows low*
:-D Hooray!
Tag! You’re it! :-P
Thank you!
:=D Can’t wait to see what you come up with! :-D

Waiting for your answers… :)
Keep Shinning!! <3
Thanks, Nimmi! I’ll take a look, definitely.
My pleasure to read your answers. Eagerly waiting ;)
Pleasure is all mine dear! <3
Nah, mine! *bows and his hat falls off*
Oh! Let me help to pick it up for you ;)
Aw! thanks, Nimmi.
Pleasure, dear!! <3
*bows like a frog*
Hahaha… So cute ;)
Frogs are ugly!
No… I think beauty lies every where… you just need eyes to see it! 😊😍
Even in a snail?
Hmmm… yes! :)
Haha.
;D
Hello again Professor. I’m forward looking to I have what reading missed……..or something.
tails a waggin sir tails a waggin.
Sammy
Sammy! How’ve you been, my man?
Hello! Thanks for stopping by and following my blog :) You have the honour of being my OFFICIAL 100th follower! I had to capitalise because you’re not technically the 100th – but that’s another, probably quite boring story that I’ll stick in a post.
I feel I should give you a prize…what does one give a Professor? Obviously not chocolate (not a fan either, wouldn’t miss it if it became extinct).
I’m enjoying your list of vocabulary too, it’s very Dahl. Look forward to reading more.
Hey! Good to you, madam. Now, I’m feeling so proud the sudden, about being the official 100th follower. I might throw a party about it, see. Now I”m interesting in hearing that story as well!
*laughs* *high five* You are seriously the first person I met that doesn’t care for chocolate that much! Go us. How about a cherry sucker? I’ll doing anything for one of those.
Thanks muches! So glad to connect with you.
Well it is the weekend so party away! I’m not sure I can stretch to a cherry sucker – I read about the extortionate rates of inflation in your post and feel, along with postage, it could bankrupt me! Perhaps when I’m a famous blogger / author / baker / photographer / whatever I can arrange a back payment.
Likewise on the connection though, pleased to meet your quirky little corner of the world :)
You mean not even one little cherry sucker? Madam, I’m beginning to think you’re cruel, don’t you know. *professorish eye*
*laughs* So awesome to have you!
Oh gosh, I don’t want to be thought of as cruel. Let me have a look down the back of the sofa and get back to you…assuming you don’t mind a little fluff ;)
*laughing* Well…the sucker…wasn’t pre…pre-used, was it?
Hmmm. I think it’s in both our interests that I don’t answer that…
*laughing lots* Haylee! Now you be fair and tell the professor!
;)
*bows*
A nomination for you :) https://bellanoctis.wordpress.com/2015/07/30/thank-you/
Why thank you!
Seriously??? You hate chocolate? Who hates chocolate?… What about wine???
*laughing* Well…it’s too…creamy, wouldn’t you say? I’m not a big wine fan either. I mean…unless it’s sweet!
Coffee?
Umm…don’t really like it. Do you?
Yep… What about tea?
I love tea! Cherry green tea?
Finally! :-)
See? I’m an agreeable chap.
:-)
Butterflies hate me too, those self-righteous bastards…
*laughing* Madam! Glad to find someone else tortured by butterflies. What should we do about it?
Kill.them.all. Nah just kidding. Ignore the little bastards hehe
*laughing* Or…you know, get a net!
I’ve nominated you for the 777 writing challenge! ;-)
Erin, thanks so much! I’ll take a look.
:-D I can’t wait to see your response! :-D
Hopefully some time next week!
Wahooo! :-P

Thanks Professor, you are pretty great yourself.
Sammy
*bows and his hat stays on*
Hi Professor,
I loved your Punchy Land and your Punchy writings. You always make me laugh and matter to think about. I (and probably the rest of your readers) would love to know more about how you write your magic verses. I was recently nominated for a special kind of award called ‘Virtual Blog Tour’ that lets one share more than just list blogs we like and I would like pass on a nomination to you (link to my post https://feelingsoulmate.wordpress.com/2015/03/09/blog-tour-award)
Here are the rules if you’d like to accept:
1. Pass the tour on to up to four other bloggers. Give them the rules and a specific Monday to post.
2. Answer four questions about your creative process which lets other bloggers and visitors know what inspires you to do what you do:
•What am I working on at the moment?
•How does my work differ to others in my genre?
•Why do I write/create what I do?
•How does my writing/creative process work?
3. Compose a one-time post which is posted on a specific Monday (date given from your nominator).
The date I would like you to post on – 30 March
And also, please don’t feel obliged to do anything. The matter is that I am a big fan and would love to know more about your creative process.
Keep Shinning always,
Nimmi.
Nimmi! Thanks so much. I’ll definitely do it. Just keep reminding me. That is tops of you. Thank you again!
Welcome, dear!! Okay done :) I’ll do that too ;)
I’m honored, Nimmi!
Love to you, dear :)
Hey you! My partner in Sithy crime! I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award! :D

Universe watch out! ;)
Here we come, and we’re hungry!
RAWR*!!!!
*roars louder*
*Munches on cookies* :D
*grabs one* I need one badly!
I’ve gots plenty. :D Conquering the galaxy is hungry work!
It sure is! And it makes one thirsty.
Hmm. What should be our outer spacey beverage? Romulan Ale? :D
*laughing* Yes! That’s awesome. You’re good at this.
Hehe, I am good aren’t I? :P I want the captain’s chair, best seat in the house to see our conquest unfold! 3:)
And you can have it! (Just posted a post about the award you sent me. Thanks again!)
Sweet deal!! I’ll go check it out!! You are welcome! :)
*bows and his hat falls off*
*Catches hat. Bows* :)
*grumbles* Not fair you can bow with it on, and I can’t manage it!
I’m awesome like that. ;) hehe
You are awesome! But not as awesome as a Samurai rat!
:o A Samurai rat? Does this Samurai rat have a purple light saber? Hmmm? Does he? Does he?! ;)
He has a double red one!
… that’s hot. ;)
Oh yeah! It’s tops.
Hehehe!
Hey Dear, Great to meet such a lovely person like you. You are an awesome, awesome writer. Your skill of making people laugh is incredible. I love to be around in this Punchy land. Looking forward to read more of your lovely work :-) Thank you!!
Aw! That’s such a nice thing to say! Thanks so much! And it’s great to meet you too, Nimmi. How’re you doing?
I’m doin’ good, VJ Duke. Your work bring smile on my face so a big thank you to you :) You alright??
*bows* Thanks so much! Very nice of you to say, madam. I am! Do I look too professorish?
:) Any time… Do you want me to say, yes or do you want me to say, no ;)
Umm…that’s cheating, dadblameit! How about…yes?
Hahaha :D. What cheating ;). I say NO, you won’t look too professors, however, YES, Your work does :)
Well, that’s awesome! *Smiles bigly and bows*
Ah! Your presence itself making me smile :) Your smile is lovely ;) Please don’t bow :P
Aw! That’s nice of you…why souldn’t I bow?
well! Because I guess, between friends it won’t look good ;) What you say??? :)
You have a great point! And, plus, my hat always falls off when I bow.
Hahaha :D Yes, that’s also true ;)
*gives Nimmi his hat*
Thank you, Duke :) I love to wear your hat ;)
You look awesome in it, too.
Really?!! Thank you, dear :)
Absolutely! Here, have these sunglasses.
Hahaha :D Oh! Thank you :) See how am I looking? ;)
Very cool! And spicy! *high-five*
Shying :P High-five to you too ;)
*laughs* They’re so fun to do, you know.
:D Yes!!! And If it’s with you… more the fun ;)
*smiles bigly big* That’s cause I don’t hit too hard, see.
Yes ;)
*Laughs*
Impressive about page, fun list, except the chocolate preference :)
Hi Donna! Good to see you here! Ah, yes thank you. But even you must admit that cherry flavor is better than chocolate!!!
Lol – my second favorite is Cherry.
Well…that’s mostly good! *grumbles* You know, it’s hard to find people that like cherry! *wonders why*
That’s because they haven’t tried a Dairy Queen Cherry Nut Sundae with walnuts! The best – hands down. Try one and let me know what you think :)
*mouth drops open* I didn’t even know that existed!
See! It’s not just me!!!
Well…it’s only you two then!
:-)
I thought of fighting you for not liking coffee or chocolate, but I realized there’s more for me. Also, I love this blog, Professor.
*laughs* That is such a good point! Thank you! How’re you doing?
Great, thanks! Hope you’re doing well!
I am! Lots of snow here, you know.
And here. Mountains of it.
Oh dear. Where are you? I’m in PA.
I’m in Boston. Today stopped being fun after I made snow angels and snapchatted everyone about it.
*laughing* You’ve got lots more snow than I do! Are you a Patriots fan?
I’ll probably get killed for this, but I’m not into sports in general. The Patriots seem like nice guys, though. *shrugs*
No, no problem! I was just curious. You know, all the people I know from NE aren’t Pats fans! I think it’s cool that you’re not.
Phew! Thanks for not judging.
Sure! The professor is a peaceful beast, you know.
What do you teach?
Hi! Good to see you truly! Well, I’m a professor in a different sense of the word. Does that sorta make sense?
Hello! I’ve nominated you for The Versatile Blogger Award! You can check it out here :) https://aspoonfulofperfection.wordpress.com/2015/01/08/the-versatile-blogger-award/
Thanks really appreciate it!
Hey there, Professor! I hope this day finds you well.
I just wanted to let you know that I’ve nominated you for the One Lovely Blog award. It looks like you’ve been nominated for it before… but who cares, right? I quite enjoy your dadblamery, and I hope you’ll accept.
Details can be found here. Thanks, and Merry Christmas!
Hey! Thanks so much!!! (I don’t care; I’m honored to be nominated.) I’ll get to this as soon as I start back up! You honor me, sir.
*lands in your blog* *squints disorientedly* Oh wow, your blog looks cool! Almost like it’s own world: the Punchy Lands. I’m still not quite sure what it’s about, but maybe if I stick around for a while I’ll get a better sense of it.
Thanks again for following mine!
*laughs* Did you come on a plane? My pleasure! It’ll be great getting to know you. Yes, I know it’s a bit odd at first…
Nah, magic. Airfare is so expensive these days. Yeah! It is nice to meet you for real; I’ve seen your name elsewhere in the blogosphere but never knew who you were. *nods* Odd is often more interesting. :)
*laughs* Airfare is. You’re going to have teach me magic–if you don’t mind. You too! And odd is professorish–in this case.
I nominate you for the Very Lovely Blog Award! Here’s the post :) http://fearlesslynat.wordpress.com/2014/10/31/one-lovely-blog-award/
Many thanks! Is it alright if I get to it next week?
Why of course xD
*bows and his top hat stays on*
Great to meet you Professor!
I would say I am looking forward to reading what You have to share but I have no idea what to expect. will let you know if I like what I read….haha
Thanks for the follow…..!
Rolain
*laughs* Hi, Rolain! Great to see you here. I’m excited about following you as well. Well, I think you may find it rather crazy here, you know.
I can only imagine Professor…..!!!! 😁
*laughs* But you can’t blame the professor, you know.
If you say so……!
Well, I think so, you know.
hahahaha this is just too cool! But what does the Professor look like?
*bows* Many thanks! Well…do you really, really want to know?
yea? I’m curious like that !
But I’m scary, ugly, and mean! Okay…https://thepunchylands.wordpress.com/2014/08/21/rippingmoviereview-the-amazing-spider-man-2012/
That’s a movie review. And I’m in it! Let me know if you scream when you see me.
oh.my.word. I cried with laughter, that was just too funny I think I just developed some really bad ass abs !! Hahahahahahahahahahaha! I didn’t scream tho lol! That was good man!!!!
*laughs* Thanks so much! Your comment made the professor’s day. That was our second movie ripping! We’re planning on doing a few more. So…did you see the professor?
i saw the professor thanks for the honor ! lol the professor should do more like those they are top notch!!
*bows* Many, many thanks! We have another coming out next week, I think. Don’t you think I should cut my hair?
you should, you should let me cut it, i’m real good!! lol
*laughs* Yes…it’s too dadblame long, then? It’s a real pain. I don’t know how ladies do it!
Well this lady happens to be a professional hairdresser so I would make your hair look amazeballs whahahahaa
*shocked face* That’s so cool! But…don’t only girls get there hair fixed and stuff?
nooooo…. I have a lot of gents!! The men here take good care of their hair… what country does the professor live?
Oh…that’s not possible! I live in the US…but didn’t you see my hair? Nothing you can do about that, right?
where in the US is punchy lands? i can fix any hair !!! lol
You see, the PL isn’t in the US. The PL is earth under the influence of the Punchies. *smiles bigly* Hope that makes sense. Not professorish hair!
hahahahahahhaha everything you say makes so much sense lol
You’re laughing the professor to scorn, dadblameit!
only good laughs!
Can guys stick out their tongues?
I’m sure they can?
Yes, I know…it just seems girly!
lol, well, I guess it is now that you mention it hahaha!!! So for safe keeping keep your tongue in your mouth whahahahahaha
*laughs* Rats and a Heifer! You must admit, it’s not fair.
life isn’t fair… hahaha
But shouldn’t it be for the professor?
Do you like it , if someone gives you a punch ?
I don’t think this professor would. Should I?
a soft punch doesn’t hurt ;)
How about a professorish punch?
Dear Professor, I am somewhat amused by your short list but more so, I am in a quandary regarding the equation.
P=m(i)c2.]
Would you please define each character and what is the function of the square bracket at the end??
I will soon be clicking on the “read more” to see if the answers are hidden deeper… ;-)
Yes, well… First, good to see you here! Well, that equation was put forward by FictionFan (a Punch Family member.) You see, the PL’s official studio is MicP Studios, run by Mic Pencilpoint. Now some say, that Mic is like this professor, and that they might be the same person. That equation, I think, explains something along those lines. Of course, we’re different, you know.
Just ask if you have any questions! Did that help at all?
Indeed… sounds to me you’re just like me… sorry, and my alter-ego(s)… I’m still at a loss about the scientific logic of the square bracket closing out the equation…
Yes, me too. I’m rubbish at math. At least, I am now. So…what should I call you?
Call us whatever you feel like calling us… AJ works here as does Vossie… We’ve been called BoLLoX… horse box… or should that be BoLLiX or whores boxes? Don’t know… we’re warn out now… this is hard work! ;-)
Us? Is there a few of you?
Yes, me, the alter-ego and whoever comes to stay for awhile in the place they call my mind… ;-)
Aha! Is the alter-ego female or male?
I have been know to say the occupants of my mind fill a small family saloon… I once said something about one occupant being female and an acquaintance attending the bbq at our place named her Veronica… she’s actually a hottie, raunchy and occasionally suffers from the rigours of public exhibitionism… slut! now you’ve really got us going! :)
Oh, don’t pick on her. Just give her a spank.
We Do!!
Goodness me, says I!
Goodness us, says we!!
*laughing* Rats! That was better than mine!
Rodents all… we are!!
Goodness me! I’m a bat.
Question: Is Darth Duke a PL’er, or does he only exist when you’re trying to annoy Erin and me? In fact, does your very Sithliness ever exist outside of trying to annoy Erin and me? In other words, I don’t believe you’re really a Sith on your own blog.
Well… *laughing* He’s not a PL’er, you’re right about that. In fact, I didn’t give it much thought. But I figured I’m a Sith after I found out that you two were Jedi. I was always a Sith sympathizer, you know. And I think you like that I’m a Sith.
I find it amusing, I think.
Until I cut off Obi’s feet!
You’ll have to write that yourself, honey.
Oh, I wouldn’t do that. I sorta like him.
As do we all.
Except Maul.
Yeaaahhh… and Grievous, mebbe.
Now–I’ve always wondered–Grievous isn’t a Sith, is he?
Not technically. At that time, the Lost Tribes were keeping their heads down and staying out of the splatter zone, because otherwise they’d have gotten killed too. So the rule of “Two Sith Only” held sway until the mid-thirties ABY. Whereupon Vestara and Gavar Khai gave us the first hint that there was something weird going on out there in the Rims.
But no, Grievous is not a Sith per se, any more than Assaj Ventress is. They’re both Dark-Side, but not powerful enough to be full Darth Sith. (Incidentally I’m bending the rules by letting you be a Darth! You fall smack in the middle of the Sidiious-Tyranus era, after Sidious-Maul and before Sidious-Skywalker.)
Does that answer your question?
That does! Thank you. So, there are more Sith…I didn’t know that! And I didn’t know that a Skywalker became a Sith!
Yes, there are, but not in the Old Republic – I don’t write New.
Oh – not Luke! Anakin.
Rats. I always thought Luke was going to turn.
Came close once, but no. His nephew did, if that’s any comfort to you. Jacen Solo.
Hans kid?
Han and Leia’s, yes.
I always knew they should have died.
They don’t? At least not for a long, long time. Oh, from the Sith point of view, I see. But then you wouldn’t have had Darth Caedus, would you?
That’s true. Seems like I’m fighting two battles. How did Luke die?
Ummm… nobody actually knows. Seriously. If you’ve got a lot of time on your hands (unlike me) you could try this link: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Luke_Skywalker for everything you never wanted to know about Luke.
I skimmed it…did he become a Sith?
No. He became the Grand Master of the Jedi Order and temporarily mentored a young Sith. But that was as close as it went.
I think I was that young Sith.
Not unless you’re a girl who falls in love with Ben Skywalker! Her name was Vestara Khai, daughter of Gavar Khai, and she was a young apprentice in the Lost Tribe. Though if you ask me they’d have done better to stay lost.
*laughing* Mustn’t be me, then. I hope she killed Ben eventually.
*sigh* No…
I bet the sigh means she came close!
No. Close to killing Allana Solo, but not Ben. (And Allana is the daughter of Jacen Solo and Queen something of somewhere, who is adopted by Han and Leia after her father turns to the Dark Side. Okay?)
Okay. I think I see that. But I do wonder…did Ben marry her?
Ben-is-a-Jedi! Vestara-is-a-Sith! Luke-is-the-Grand-Master! This would be worse than a Catholic-Baptist marriage where one of the fathers is a priest! Of course they don’t!
Ooo! This is good. I should make this happen. Imagine what everyone would think!
Hi there,
I have nominated your blog for the “Very Inspiring Blogger Award”. You can find all the details you need by clicking on this link..
http://anniemationfloe.wordpress.com/2014/06/19/are-you-inspired-are-you-very-inspiring-blogger-award/
Have a good day
Many thanks! I’ll take look.
Hello!:) This is a very cool blog indeed!:)
I can’t wait to read some of your work
Love Zara
Zara! Thanks so much! How are you?
Hha Professor:) I am very well thank you, how are you!
I’m very professorish–which I hope is acceptable!
Hha:) accepted
*bows* Many thanks!
Hi! Nice Blog! I hope to read more of your posts in the future! :)
Regards,
Amreen
Greetings, Amreen! How are you?
Greetings! I’m good, how about you?
I’m doing good! Very professorish. And it’s raining here. That makes me cranky, you know!
Lol! I too hate rains! :D
*laughing* I know! It’s like a rainforest here, and I don’t think it should be!
:-) Thanks for the feedback on the draft. ;-) Oh, and I borrowed the “Go boil your head!” from Brian Jacques. I thought it was better and more Obi-Wan than just “go jump off a cliff.” X-D
I think it is, too. I can really hear him saying! My pleasure!
“Boil your head, Anakin!” X-P
Right on!
Headboiling and dadblamery for the win!!!
That’s it exactly!
X-D *waves sword in the air* YEAH!!!
*waves his sword too*
*accidentally bonks King Arthur on the head* Whoops. :-P
The PL’s King Arthur is rather mean, you know.
Indeed. That’s why I did it. ;-P
Good!
*starts singing the Taylor Swift song*
Sorry, I couldn’t resist… Every time I see Arthur being a jerk, whatever incarnation, I think of “Mean.” Result of seeing a “Merlin” music video to that. :-P
Is Taylor Swift a type of guitar?
No, she’s a country singer… :-P I sometimes sing that same song (it’s called “Mean”) at Palpatine. Because. He is. :-P
He’s my master, dadblameit!
Ehhh… :-P I’m courageous to the point of utter idiocy. :-P
That’s perfect.
Really?
I think it is overall, yes. Windu is.
That’s just a little strange, I think. (Also, I like Col. Brandon.)
Thank you for the follow! I too am a Twain fan. Have you read “The Lowest Animal?”
Nice to meet you! I love Twain. I have not! But it’s on my list. Do you recommend it?
Fascinating indeed! Good to meet you Prof.
Good to meet you too! How are you?
Hello Mr. Professor
I don’t know if you have done this before but I think you would do a great job.
I would like to nominate you to participate in a Writing Process Blog Meme.
If you accept my nomination, you will need to write an article prompted by the following four questions and post it on your blog on Monday, May 12, 2014. You’ll also nominate three writers of your choice to post their articles on their blogs on May 19, 2014. The four questions:
What am I working on at the moment?
How does my work differ from others of its genre?
Why do I write what I do?
How does my writing process work?
I’d be honored if you would accept this nomination. Please let me know ASAP so that I can feature your blog in my post on May 5th, 2014.
I will use some info from your About Me Profile information to let my viewers know more about you, if you don’t mind. Or, if you would like me to say something different you could let me know?
Thanks Professor! I hope you decide to try this.I love your stories with the Punchy family and I would like for you to try this.
Yazmin
I’d definitely like to try this. Could I post mine Monday 19th?
yes :)
Awesome. Just remind me!
OH… MY… !!
Where should I start?
Should I , actually?!
I could ( almost/fast) subscribe your… points.. from up above ;-)
more or less…
I’m not a Professor…( yet… still ) ;)
Glad to find you, Professor…
Greetings, Dianette! How are you?
I think I’m okay…
P.S. Dia… please… only Dia…
That’s an awesome name. Dia it will be! So…what do you think about the PL? Sorta strange, huh?
Pretty crazy… and that’s good… fascinating, complicated… mines ;-)
Well, Dia, that about sounds right. Have you embraced your Punchy Nature yet?
Ah… no… still trying to embrace”” yours… It’s not easy… I”ll take my time, Professor..
For sure! I always recommend watching the Punchy Trailer. Have you seen it yet?
Hello… late, I know… No, there was no time… I would like to start with the beginning”” Is the Video really recommended?! Who are all the characters here…? Guestes?
Are you… The Professor… or… one of them”” ? :)
I know, lots of questions…
Well, yes, of course it is! Why wouldn’t it be?
I am the professor, yes. And the only one!
All the characters live in the Punchy Lands. And I chronicle the PL. Does that make sense?
Okay… they all live there… nice :)
Yes… makes sense… I’ll be around trying to understand… a bit more about your Punchy Land. ;)
Definitely! And if you have any professorish questions, ask away, please!
I will… be sure of that… Sir ;)
Many thanks, Dia! And welcome, btw. Or did I say that? I really can’t remember what I should.
You “should” nothing… but you could… ;)
Thank you… (was the first time you said “welcome” to me… I’ve already said “Glad to find you, professor!”… and I still mean it)
Haha! Well, all’s good then!
I’m sorry Im so confused! I can’t seem to understand a thing o.O What does dadblamery mean?
Greetings! No problem. (I recommend heading over to the “Start Here” page. That will explain things.)
Well, dadblamery refers to something that is ridiculous. For instance, you could say: “Saying pigs can fly is dadblamery, since we know it’s impossible.” Does that help?
i just noticed that you do not sound dull at all ;)
Aw, thanks! I try. But you know…
By the way, I love the new look of your blog : )
Thanks much! We try to keep thinks updated, you know.
Chickit! I’ve read through all of the comments and replies, and I still haven’t got to the bottom of the mystery of the professor. Who is the professor? Here is what I have so far:
*scratching in a dusty notepad with a pipe stuck at a frustrated angle in the corner of the mouth*
1. The Professor doesn’t like tea, coffee or chocolate.
2. The Professor loves Mark Twain.
3. The Professor abhors hot pink.
4. The Professor lives in PA.
5. The Professor doesn’t work in a university.
*tearing and crumpling the notepad paper in frustration*
What does this all mean?!!!
By the way, why is (5) not in italics like the rest? Is that some kind of clue? I bet it is or otherwise I’m going crazy ; D
*laughing* I just fixed 5. It was a mistake! One of many. Well, here. I actually love tea. The professor is a warrior. And…well, I’m not sure what else to tell you. Do you have any questions? I am an open book, you know.
Okay, so it was a mistake? There is also a missing period after “I take full blame” which made me think this was another clue to you saying something more. I’m a bit off my rocker today…but the more and more I read your blog, the more I think you are doing double speak behind each line. There are probably clues peppered throughout your blog, but I just haven’t read it the right way.
The professor is a warrior with a katana, I believe : ) Hmm…what is the meaning behind warrior? Is it the professor’s purpose to drive his readers insane? ; )
I know you think I’m a bit crazy probably, but it’s the fault of your blog. I’m also a curious person who likes to know the person behind the blog. You heavily guard your identity that’s for sure. Do you work in a sensitive industry? Perhaps you are a CEO of a company?
“Open book” has been repeated many times. Another clue? Perhaps I go back to my original theory that you are a teacher of some sort, but you don’t work in a university. You work in a school perhaps. Haha, lots of questions. I’m making myself quite dizzy ; D
Oh really? Yeah, that’s a mistake too. And you wouldn’t be too far off. There are clues everywhere! I know that makes it tough for you–but there are!
*laughing* No! What can I answer for you?
Well, I don’t teach at all, and I’m not a CEO or work in a sensitive industry. Now, the answer I should give is that this professor lives in the PL and chronicles the PL: https://thepunchylands.wordpress.com/professor-vj-duke/ But I will tell you that the professor love s music.
Yes, I always say that. Ask a question and usually I’ll give you an answer.
Ah, so I was right about the clues : D Okay, so I’m on the right track here, but that definitely doesn’t make it easier. I believe this punchy mission will require patience and much observance. Perhaps I will enlist the help of Daddy Olmes ; ) Haha, he will probably confuse me more than I already am, so that’s probably not a good idea. Good day to you, Professor. I’m off to ponder the significance of music and its relation to the Professor ; )
I hope I haven’t told you too much! Oh dear… *the professor decides not to think about what he might have divulged*
For sure! Daddy Olmes would confuse everything, I think!
Have an awesome day, M.
No, definitely not enough. What information we have are some few crumbs ; D However, I have a new idea, but I will have to observe and read more. Until then….
Now you have me guessing, M! How wicked. *laughs*
I feel ya for the last comment, about being responsible. I am (unfortunately) responsible for anything I write, but I’m not fully responsible for everything that goes on in the corridors of my mind palace (such as Morgana stalking Obi-Wan Kenobi and Capt. Rex and Commander Cody T.P.ing the place!) :-P
*giggles* Some lives, you’ve just gotta be odd… ;-)
*laughing like a professor* Thanks for being understanding! Yes, we shouldn’t be held responsible for the mind. Now about this Morgana stalking Obi-Wan…I want more info! That sounds so cool.
I agree!
Ummm… Well, Morgana from BBC’s “Merlin”, so the Katie McGrath incarnation. ;-P I do a few “Merlin” stories, and then the “Merlin” characters take up permanent residence in my mind palace. Arthur thinks the Star Wars people are weird, and Merlin befriends Charles Wallace Murry, Martin the Warrior, and Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan starts hero-worshiping Gaius. But then… Morgana has a crush on Obi-Wan, who doesn’t notice, so she starts stalking him. Merlin panics (forgetting that Obi-Wan can protect himself)… and she still has not stopped stalking poor Obi-Wan. I should get a restraining order on her… really… :-P Because one-sided love thingy? That’s just weird. (Especially since… Obi-Wan. :-P)
*laughing* Now that is cool Do you suppose Obi-Wan should be told, though?
I think he’d find it disturbing. I’ll warn him if things get serious, though. :-P
Definitely. I like him lots.
:-P If Morgana seriously thinks she can flirt unchallenged, she has yet to face the wrath of Erin. :-P
That’s true. You should destroy her.
Ehhh… she’s too fun to mess with. X-P
But still…I’d mess with her!
Teehee.
Haha!
Today is April Fools’ Day due to the fact that we forgot to yesterday :-P
*laughing* That’s not fair! Will you prank the professor?
Maybe, maybe not… *fiendish grin* :-P
Fiendish grins are coolio!
X-P
Now you’re laughing me to scorn!
Ummm… no… I just found your comment fascinating. ;-) *grabs a random character and forces them to pose for Lord of the Rings drawing because Peter Jackson is playing with the LotR characters :-( *
Haha! I always thought PJ could use a beating, don’t you think?
Mmmmm… Perhaps. I wish the LotR movies were closer to the books. :-/
Me too. The books were amazing.
Yes! I know. The only part where the movie deviated from the book that i liked better than just the book, was the part where Frodo stood on the banks of Anduin, with tears running down his cheeks and the Ring resting in his hand, foreseeing the War of the Ring, I think. It was so beautiful! :-)
It was! I loved that scene too.
My favorite part of the whole movie. ^_^
I need to rewatch it.
X-D Please do!!!
O Professor!
Hello!
I’ve nominated you for the Quintet of Radiance Award. You don’t have to do anything, but if you want, come check it out here: https://deepbluesandseafoamgreens.wordpress.com/2014/03/28/ze-award-squeakssquealssquawks-im-really-a-secret-bond-like-bird-who-pretends-to-be-a-teenager/
Stay fabulous; you are awesome!
:)
Yours Truly, VQ
VQ! Always awesome to see you in the PL. How you doing?
And thanks much! I’ll definitely come take a look!
Erm I would quite like 445 comments on one page of my blog please? Thanks.
P.S
What’s that little symbol mean?
Is that how many are there? Wowawee!
You mean the strange P looking one?
Yeah the black Paint stylee P symbol..?
It is actually a T, P, and L combined! Stands for the Punchy Lands. Do you see it?
Yes!
Do you like it? *smiles expectantly*
I certainly do! Very clever.
Thank you, but we both know the professor is dull!
Hello :D I thought I’d stop by to ask how that intro page is coming along..?
Hi, Jules! Nice to see you here. Well, it’s coming. The video for the page is almost done. Thanks for asking. Once the vids done the page will go up. It’s dadblamery. Would you have guessed that?
http://rastogisaurab29.wordpress.com/2014/03/17/thinking-is-such-a-hard-pastime-that-the-majority-of-people-opt-to-never-give-it-a-go/
Hey Prof, will you approve repost like this?
Yes, sir! And thank you many!
my pleasure
Did you have a favorite proverb?
today’s one so far, i m a newbie
Nice to have you around, sir. :)
dint get time so far to read your whole blog but what I have seen you really write very good.
Thank you! It’s sort of Punchyish. Let me know if you have questions.
The professor has something mysterious about him. Intriguing, I dare admit, whimsical, if the professor were to teleport into 16th century Britain, even then I think the locals would gather round, stunned into utter silence by his spontaneity. I’ve much to travel, in my long, yet exciting journey, as I brave tempting seas and skip stones upon the shore. The professor is quite a character; so now I’ve to knock politely, remove the stupid clip from my hair, and wait patiently to be allowed inside…..
:)
Basically; you’re awesome, dude.
VQ (Z)
Hi, VQ! Great to see you here. (It’s actually made my day. :D )
 Lovely words, for sure. The professor is also wicked, don’t you think so?
Definitely come in! And welcome. Get involved, comment, and have fun. It’s like a community here. Things will make more sense after a short while, I hope. (I’m always confused, though.)
Aw, thanks! And so are you!
Professor, VK, Sir Awesome, hello!
Wowee! May your day be full of rainbows; a mist of faint lilac shadowed between each increasingly big (or increasingly small, depending how you look at it) arch. Wicked…perchance. Whimsical; creative, most definitely.
I’ll take a browse, have a snoop round.
Happy days!
VQ, the professor is glad to have you about! If you have any questions about what you see, just ask me! :)
Sure! :)
Is there anything in particular you’d like to tell?
Well, you mean about me?
Why not? You, the blog, anything! The professor is an intriguing character.
And I am an intrigued reader.
I am? :) Why are you intrigued, VQ? I’m know as an enigma, you know.
Yes.
And..Precisely. You’re blog isn’t straightforward. And the more I’ve read and listened to you, it’s evident that you’re not “dooby dooby doo” but more…more…I can’t phrase it. Like, even now I don’t know how to define the multiple doobys. But you’re a very different blogger, and it’s a pretty refreshing change, because I still haven’t sussed you out yet. That’s cool. To unravel your personality in a more challenging way.
Thank you. It’s true, the professor can only be unraveled little by little, you know. I like that dooby part. Would you say the professor is sweat or wicked?
Sweet, or wicked?
An interesting dollop of both.
Exactly! That’s what I’ve been trying to tell people. And you just knew it! I’m honored. Thank you, VQ.
I nominated you for the Liebster award:
Many thanks! I’ll check it out.
Hi, just saying something …. anything …… from a not very punchy Sweden.
Greetings from the professor! You’re not Punchy, then?
Thank you for guiding me to your blog:) stay blessed.
Hi, nice to meet you! How are you?
Hello and it’s even nicer to meet you.Its 6 am here so very good morning☕️
Now, do you have tea or coffee in the morning, ma’am?
Curiouser and curiouser
Why so? I think it’s rather clear. If you have a question, just ask. Did you know the professor is known for giving clear answers? :D
It’s good to be curious. Unless you are a cat.
What are you curious about?
It’s funny because when you comment on my posts I often do picture you speaking in your character’s voice. This only reinforces that I’m probably correct in thinking so haha :)
Really? What an interest! But what character voices do you mean?
I’m not sure haha. It’s ever-changing
How do you picture the professor? Now I’m curious, you know.
Intuitive, pondering, probably takes a large interest in philosophy… something along those lines :P
:D And professorish?
probably has a beard
Funny you should say that. The PF is in constant debate about that.
but of course that goes with out saying. And yes, he should definitely go for the beard
Rats and a Heifer! A fake one?
what? lol
Isn’t it a wonderful expression?
Definitely havent heard that one before
It’s totally professorish. I think I’m rather proud of it.
…I’m not quite sure what just happened
What do you mean?
I read the above and my mind imploded….In a good way of course lol
Doesn’t it tell you so much about the professor?
erm…is yes the right answer?
I’m not sure. What do you think?
YES! :)
That’s good, I think.
Me too ;)
Would it be too forward of the professor to ask your name?
Not at all sir… My name is Sophie :) LADY Sophie if you prefer ha ha
Thank you! What a nice name. You’ll be Lady Sophie from now on! How cool. :D
Well that’s certainly better than some of the things I’ve been called before now ha ha -I’m nice really – I just attract nasties somehow- peasants and scum if you will ;)
Really? What dadblamery! The professor likes you and I’m somewhat upstanding. :)
:) well that’s good to know “me lord” ha ha
Haha, just call me the professor. Or the professorish one. Or any combination of my great name.
I like you! So here’s my follow :] Thanks for stopping by at my blog too!
Nice to meet you! How are you doing?
I’m doing well and enjoying my weekend. How are you doing, Professor? :]
Very well. I wish the snow would go away, don’t you?
You have punchy writing indeed. Those were good fun facts about yourself. :)
Thank you! Do you feel a bit Punchy now?
Indeed!
Is it good? :)
Yes. Indeed!
That a man!
I have stopped by to say hi. I am an explorer-type by nature, so exploring this land will fit perfectly with my personality.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Nice to meet you! What should the professor call you for short?
Out of curiosity, what did you think of Twain’s Joan of Arc? I’ll be reading that one soon-ish.
I haven’t read it yet! It’s on my list, though. Are you going to do a book review? I know Twain used his daughter as an insight into writing Joan’s character.
How strangely wonderful your land is – all the archetypes come out to play in full freedom :-) Kristina
They sure do! Thanks for visiting. Are you Punchyish now?
I adore mark twain–by the mark, etc…twain–my most recent book (read to completion) was his biography…:)
he really did captain those river boats! And felt there was in no way time to write all that he had to write…something to which I can relate!
A cool, mustachio’d dude, and one of the few to pull off such vernacular musings…
Nice! I’ve got his bio. The professor must read it. Do you like him more after reading it?
 What do you write?
Very true indeed! Do you think the professor is mustachio’d?
a resounding yes! vis a vis the moo-stache
Further–I like him more. A lot more. If gives a backstory to all the hububbbery…the original name for Huckleberry…little known fact
I write stuff to make you laugh mostly….lotta wordplays and such…:)
but all genres–poetry, fiction, free verse, cnf, article, op ed…I mostly love nonsense poetry though–just had some pubbed thru Fowlpox Press…:)
Word Mosaics…you can download PDF free…:)
what do you write, Punchy?
:D Interesting!
Neat. I’ll have to read this.
Great! I love comedic writings.
Mostly Punchy stuff, yes. You see, it’s the professor’s job to chronicle all the dadblamery that takes place in the PL.
good to know the 2,4,and 6 about you.
What it make you think of the professor?
Thank you for the blog visit and feedback!! Interesting profile! :D
Is it scary?
haha :)…this just made me laugh. Which mean we will be great friends! At least I hope so. Thanks for the like and follow…I know I will definitely enjoy your posts.
Thank you very much! Welcome to the Punchy Family. It will be great having you. Now, what should I call you?
You should call me Yazmin. Its my name :D
That’s a very nice name. I read your bio, but I done forgot. You know, the professor can be dull.
Thank you! :) Haha, its okay. I think we are all dull sometimes ;)
Thank you for making me feel better! :D (But especially the professor.)
haha :). What is your name besides the professor?
VJ Duke. :D But everyone usually calls me the professor.
That’s a cool name! I like it
Thanks! The professor appreciates that. :)
OH, how wonderful to see Yazmin over here! Horray!
Me too tired today to do much but chill. I miss you Prof Frown even though I saw you over at Petals a bit. Busy week now tired WO-man.
On Saturday, February 1, 2014, The Punchy Lands! wrote:

Haha :). Yes, the professor found me first and I decided to pay him a visit of course.
Just wait. This place is NUTS or what I was told to say was cashews. Hehehehehehe Ya gotta watch out for that Professor. He’s all over the place!
But he’s sweet, isn’t he?
That’s only because he is eating my just cherry cake. He’s high on sugar. Hehehehehe
I love cherries.
I think, Lady P, we were talking about how much Yazmin likes Vin Diesel.
Haha :)…who do you know that?
You like him?
Yes..I actually like the way he acts. Is the professor okay with that?
He’s one of my favorites. :D
Sorry for the late notifications. Tech problems.
I nominated you for the Awesome Blossom and the Lighthouse awards. Please get the badges at http://wp.me/p32YrK-1ll and get more info. Also included are the Inventive Blogger and Shauny awards at http://wp.me/p32YrK-1lp to complete the package. :)
Have a wonderful day! Blessings, belsbror
Many thanks!
I couldn’t help but laugh at your description of your writing “habit.” I often find that for me — where novels are concerned — shortly after a good beginning, the ending comes trotting along, bold and brave. So I have no recourse but to write the end right then — or else possibly lose my grasp on it — and then go back and fill in the middle. I do hate when that happens, because then the middle starts to bog me down. In my opinion, it’s much harder to keep that middle stimulating and full of life once I know the end. I’m actually grateful when I find myself working on a novel that I don’t know the end of yet.
But, seriously, if you find yourself feeling discouraged about your writing because of this routine, you might find a little bit of encouragement in some of the articles I wrote recently in a series titled “2014: The Year of the Author.” I’ll include the link to the first article here, and each article has a link to the next. The material is mostly from my curriculum, which I use in all the creative writing classes I teach, but a number of people have found that parts of it have been just the shot of encouragement they needed.
Also, when you do complete a work and you feel it needs re-writing, don’t get discouraged. Instead congratulate yourself on being smart enough to know it. Every freshly completed work needs re-writing — lots of rewriting. There’s never been a great novel written that didn’t have to be ripped apart and totally re-done in several places before it even hinted at greatness. But do this: Save that original piece exactly like it is. Create a file on your computer just for saving your very first drafts of everything you write. Once it’s saved in that file, then save it again — but under another name — somewhere else in your documents. I often title mine “Experimental Copy of ……” From this point on pull up only the new copy because this is the one you can rip apart.
Now, experiment to your heart’s content. This is the exciting part of writing: finding out what all different kinds of directions you can take this piece. Attack it ruthlessly. Imagine yourself as a hard-nosed book editor — or a hard-to-please reader. Either one will work. Attack that piece, and any place that you see where you know something isn’t great, delete it and re-write to your heart’s content. You may have to do it 3 or 4 times, but knowing that you still have that original safely tucked away will free you to kill off any part of this copy that you want to experiment with. If you’ll let yourself do this, you’ll be surprised how much you can enjoy it.
Hope this helps a little. Here’s the link to the first article in the series I told you about:
http://sandraconner.wordpress.com/2014/01/06/2014-the-year-of-the-author/
Thanks for the suggestions and positive support!
I’ll take a look.
“My writing career is thus summed up: I begin to write a book that I believe has great promise, and within the first few weeks, I love what I have written thus far—the beginning. Then I move onto the middle of the book, and this is where the trouble begins. At this point, I still think the work has merit, but it has lost some of its promise. Nevertheless, I am still motivated and I move on. Next, comes the ending. This part is written with absolute dreading, and it is a wonder that I make it through. But I do make it through. When the book is finished, I hate the beginning, admire the middle, and abhor the end. After weeks of deliberation, fear, and loathing, I decide that the whole book needs rewritten. However, I can never allow myself to destroy something that took so much of my time. So, I become foolish and begin to write a new novel which I claim, and believe wholeheartedly, will be much different and infinitely better than the preceding one. Upon completion, I hate the beginning, admire the middle, and abhor the end. Consequently, I have yet another masterpiece—a book that either needs rewritten or scraped in favor of another project. I go with the latter. ~ Professor VJ Duke”
Beginning to middle, middle to end. Where we stop is where we begin.
I’d like to think that’s how it works.
The things we hate are the things that make us grow.
They show us what we don’t want to be.
So, what should this professor do about it, would you say?
Thank you for following Petals Unfolding. I just pushed your follow button as well. (smile) IF I had the time JUST to delve into all the talent here on WordPress, this would be a great life.
I am deeply touched you followed my Blog. ~Amy~
PS One never knows what comes flying out of my hand (mouth). GRIN
Thanks for following, Lady P! It certainly would be a great life.
Ooo, should the professor be scared?
Hehehehehe Of me? Not! Although what I do say, stirs the bees sometimes. LOL I do think outside of the box……just saying!
 Well, the professor would like that about you, you know!
Well with someone like you cheerleading for me, I’ll get braver as time goes along. Truth be told, many have NOT liked me for what I do say and how I do think. I scare them, perhaps, because I just happen to rock the boat. Not purposely, but in how my perspective in life is. I’ve learned to stay quiet, yet, at Petals, my words are bubbling up. They make one THINK. Not a bad thing at all, yet, with the thinking, truth is seen, and oops, illusion is so much safer. Just saying……. Oh, I have LOTS of pretty sayings too, but now lately, the “oh oh” ones seem to be bubbling up. Oh, Professor, if only you knew the thoughts I don’t say….. gotta work on that courage as I posted today. :-)
 Well, say them all. The professor will be sweet about it. But cheerleading…you can’t really picture the professor cheerleading, can you? I sure hope not.
And the professor is game for the truth over an illusion any day!
The Truth. Most do not want to hear it.
No short skirts for you, then, no? LOL
Since a child, I have had a Mind for Truth and it seems a Heart that could see a lie a mile away. I have this uncanny “knowing”. I will just keep on and as I go, get more courage and confidence to say what I know. Or hear as well.
I think we have begun a courtship. You are my type of guy! How NICE, and I mean that, to know there are others who seek Truth as well as I.
I know. It’s vexing and a dadblamery.
Oh dear no! Imagine how the professor would be shamed!
Well, that sounds really nice, Lady P. The professor likes that lots.
:D The professor is a genuine truth seeker!
All joking set aside, I too seek Truth. And “truth be told” it really hasn’t gotten me too far in life. People honestly do not wish to hear truth. In so doing, the blinders would have to come off. I try to stay on the sunny side of the street with what I say, yet, when I say it like it is, or even pretty the truth up a bit, people still shy away.
So I attempt to go in the back door with encouragement and smiles. I do get weary of banging my head against a brick wall, or so it seems, and I do wonder if anything I have done, has made one iota of a difference. At least I tried. And I did my best. That is all I can ask of myself, as with you. People are clueless how “those in power” have stolen their power away.
At times I look at people and I see “puppets”. Cutting those strings usually is accompanied with attack and anger. Yeppers. I know all about that! So again, I try to stay on the sunny side.
Vexing and dadblamery. You said it! I see too much and at times I wish I didn’t. Ah, but that is who I am, and so it is. Tootles!
Well, Lady P, you accept your station with grace, I think. The professor could only imagine the frustration! Perhaps you might retire?
Retire in the Land of Photo. Now that would be NICE. Retire from myself? How does one do that?
Oh, I guess that would be impossible, huh?
Huh. I guess. I suppose I could have a brain transplant, just supposing, but I won’t. So I’ll finish this life as best as I can, and make plans on how to live my next one. (smile) And oh yes, the imagination is fertile. LOL
 Don’t have a brain transplant! That would be disastrous, you know!
Thank you for following my poetry blog and may you enjoy your visits and readings :-)
Nice to meet you!
Nice to meet you too
Scary too?
Yea
Yea?
Yeah, it’s scary
But why?
Sorry for so late to reply you due to family.
Seems that there are all kinds of scary stories about professor.
Hope all is well. What sort of scary stories?
Thanks. I ever hear and even watch the videos about crazy professors especially those who are scientist. The movie ‘Hollow Man’ is one of the movie.
Ah! So you’re used to crazy professors?
Not really used to it.
Which might not be bad.
You are a professor of what?
Well…are you doubting my professorishness?
Not a chance. Just curious if you had a specific specialist or that your professorship encompasses everything.
Well, I’m not the normal type of professor. You see, I profess the Punchy Lands. Disappointing, huh?
Nope. Not at all.
Really? :)
My curiosity has been satisfied and look forward to more of your professing.
In the new year…the PL is taking a break. We have one last Christmas wishing vid that came up today. Have a great Christmas!
Enjoy your break. Happy Holidays to you.
And you.
Professor, I am curious to know are you related in any way to the notorious Raoul Duke, esq. ?
I don’t think so…he’s a bit mean looking? Is he a mean fellow?
I would not say a mean fellow but mean-looking? Sure. He was a madman of the late 60s/early 70s counterculture. Your uncertainty makes me think the last names are just a coincidence. If you were related, I am sure you would know ;-)
I bet you’re right. But you see, it’s dangerous for this professor to think himself related to such a dastardly fellow. Maybe he’s just tough–which would be neat.
Ha ha, I can’t wait to dig into your blog further. I especially love your Punchy Exclamations! :D
Thanks! And nice to meet you. Definitely check out a Punchy skit! (The exclamations are said there.)
Hey Professor! I nominated you for The Versatile Blogger Award because your stories are coolbeans :)
Thanks! I like coolbeans…
Dear Professor,
I have been following you for quite a while now & I think it’s time we expose the Punchy Lands to the world so I have decided to nominate you for a Liebster Award: http://anniemationfloe.wordpress.com/2013/11/11/liebster-award-honestly-transition-a-small-thank-you/
Congratulations! Whether you choose to accept this award is of course entirely up to you, but I felt you were at the very least deserving of the nomination.
Kind regards,
Annie
The professor is honored. Thank you very much. Will look into this.
Hey! I’ve nominated you for the WordPress Family Award. The full post is here: http://coatechnophile.wordpress.com/2013/10/18/the-wordpress-family-award/
(I’m not sure if this is allowed, but perhaps you could nominate Ruber’s restaurant? Perhaps it can finally become ‘award-winning’. ;))
Thanks so much, Joe!
(That would be great for his business, wouldn’t it? Maybe I’ll make a special trip next week. It would be cool.)
Well I gotta say that THE PUNCHY LANDS is definitely an interesting land. I love the way The Professor states his(?) opinions. And yeah, I think I consider my self as a Punchyish person..
Yes, his. :D That’s awesome. Do you find it a bit scary?
Nope :)
Well that’s good. I’m sure you find it a bit Punchyish, though.
Hahaha yepp :) Of course it is, it’s The Punchy Land anyway :)
A very good point! :D
Well Professor, this could be interesting.
Greetings! Ooo, what do you mean? Is it a bit scary?
I’m just saying that following your blog will be a unique experience.
Well, that’s good, isn’t it? The professor is quite normal, though, you know…
Hi, Professor! I am teaching my son Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Tom Sawyer this Fall! We homeschool! I’m now following your blog! :)
Hello!!! Awesome! That’s good. I really hope he enjoys it. It’s one of the professor’s favorites. That’s awesome too. Great to have you!
Dear Professor,
Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the follow, but these Punchy Lands you have discovered sound intriguing. I hope you get the chance to finish the story sometime so we can all learn more.
But is it scary to you?
All the best things are, just a little
But the professor’s not scary!
If all the best things are a little scary, and the professor’s among the best, he must be a little scary too…
Perhaps, like beauty, scary is in the eye of the beholder?
So, are you scared by the professor?
I’ve met a lot of different types of scary people in my life. I haven’t decided yet if the professor is the type to be scared of or impressed by… I’ll reserve my decision :)
That’s fair enough!
Well hello Professor! Many thanks for visiting my blog and for the follow, I do really appreciate it. I do sincerely hope that you like what you find there. I am catching up at the moment (the price I pay for not blogging at the weekend!) so will have to return, which I shall do you can be sure of that, to read and learn more about your ‘Punchy Land’! Meanwhile, I just wanted to say hi and thanks from my cyber summerhouse. Have a great day :-)
No problem! It will be great to see you around, truly. The professor will be visiting your blog regularly too!
Thanks so much :-)
Thank you so much!
Hey, I just nominated you for the One Lovely Blog Award! (http://cartoondramas.wordpress.com/2013/09/28/one-lovely-blog-award/) :D
Thank you so much!
I like your style ;)
Many thanks! Very nice to meet you.
Thank you so much for the follow Mr. VJ Duke :) :)
It means a lot :)
Thanks again
~Ankush
No problem! Very nice to meet you.
:) x
You’ve caught my interest… I need to open up that thing that glows and has buttons and shows me stuff to read more though. It’s not very easy on the little glowy thing that does the same stuff as the big glowy thing but not as well…. Did I make sense? Eh, who cares. I’m sure you understand. I have a feeling we’re infected with similar strains of “interesting.”
You actually made complete sense! The professor has to zoomy on out in order to continue reading! I think you’re right. Do you feel Punchyish?
Well, I just finished a 3.something mile run and I’m about to chug a chocolate milk, so sure! Why not?
3 miles! Goodness me. The professor is impressed!
A chocolate milk? Send one to the professor, please. I think I could use one…
Oh that chocolate milk was amazing too. Best post-run treat EVER!
The professor will try it next time, for sure.
Hello Professor. Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods. I must say Punchy Land looks very interesting.
Thank you for coming to the PL! Does it seem Punchyish?
Yes, very. :)
Is that a good thing, do you think?
Good is a relative term. I think entertaining is more fitting.
Or Punchyish.
Hi Professor. What do you change into and do you change back into your original form if you have one.
Hello! Well, the professor is always the professor. He’s not cool enough to turn into something else yet… You see, his changes are more subtle than that. :)
Watership Down equals… Rabits! and lots of adventure.
Sounds extremely tempting!
No chocolate? No coffee? What about tea?
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I’ve found my way to The Punchy Lands, and may I say, it looks rather nice. :)
The professor loves tea–green, cherry tea.
Many thanks! The professor really enjoyed your blog. Welcome to the PL family!
Why, thank you for the warm welcome, professor.
I like tea too, preferably green but I don’t mind black, as long as it’s infused with mint or apple. :)
Ooo, apple would be great! Never have tried it, though. (I do like you’re gravatar. Very creative. Much better than a ring!)
Twinings has an apple one, but I think they recently changed it to apple & pear. Haven’t tried that yet, though.
re: gravatar – Thank you! It’s my brother’s drawing of me being a bookworm. Your ring looks rather spiffy, it being engraved and all. :)
Thank you! That’s to prove that the professor is the professor.
Your brother is a great artist, methinks! (I’ll have to check out Twinings. And let me know when you try the apple/pear one.)
Yes. Yes, he is. He’s very creative. Thanks for the compliment, he says. :)
I’d be interested to hear what you think of Twinings and which flavor you picked to try out. (would be glad to let you know how the apple/pear tastes, once I find it)
No problem! (Tell him the professor was very impressed. Couldn’t draw to save his life, I think.)
Well, do you recommend any, besides the apple? Definitely let me know!
Same here, I’ve no chops for drawing whatsoever. Best I can draw is a stick man.
I really love their green tea & mint, and English breakfast (but I must have it with a bit of milk). I tweeted once about it, I’ll shoot you a retweet. :)
I’m not sure if the professor could even draw a stick man!
The English breakfast sounds really good. With milk… I’ll certainly have to try that. Yes, thanks!
The Horse and His Boy… Now that’s a good book. Although the Voyage of the Dawn Treader’s really good too.
Great to see you! The Horse and His Boy is the best adventure book ever–in the professor’s humble opinion. :) The Voyage is good too. Do you like Pride and Prejudice?
Oh dear, you’ve struck another of my favorite classics…
But you couldn’t possibly! It’s so…so vexing!
That’s half the fun of it. It shows the shallow human foibles we all would like to ignore exist. (Our prides and our prejudices, as it were=) But then I’m a silly girl who likes romance now and again.
Have you ever read Watership Down? It’s another good adventure book.
Very true. The professor is just wicked, you see. :)
No, I haven’t! What’s it about?
Hahahahaha oh wait…..is that good?
It is, isn’t it? Crime is thrilling, I think.
I haven’t really committed a crime outside of possibly speeding once or twice. -__-
We are the same there, then!
Oh my…the mystery unfurls….or we both just like to drive fast.
Isn’t it a must to get to the destination as quickly as possible?
I believe so and it is also just fun to go as fast as possible…..sometimes outside the restrictive boundaries the law places on us. So unfair
Extremely unfair. Daddy Salami would go as fast as he wanted–and probably get away with it!
Ahhh I am still getting to know your lovely characters but will go along with you on this. We must find our way to out-fox the law.
Absolutely! (You’ll know them soon very well; probably better than the professor!)
I am looking forward to meeting them all. I have a feeling they each show a bit of the Professor
Now I have come over here to learn about The Professor and his professorisms. I read about The Punchy Lands and really quite intrigued.
That’s great! I hope the professorisms live up to your expectations. The professor is honored!
So far so good……happy to have found you :) Oh wait, you found me first.
The professor is always the instigator in crime. ;)
Nice to meet you too!
Absolutely! So, let’s get to know one another better. The professor will ask you a question then you can ask him one. What’s your favorite book?
Alright. I like lots of books. My first favourite is Harry Potter series. It is when I started reading novels. What is yours?
Hmm, interesting. Do you have a favorite from the series? Well, the professor absolutely loves Mark Twain. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but probably the Prince and the Pauper. :D
All of them except the fifth one, not as much. But I loved the fourth one the most!! Ahn, I believe I haven’t read any of Mark Twain’s work. Any other favourites?
I haven’t read any of Mark Twain’s work.
Would you like a recommendation?
Sure!!
Well…hmm…let me see… (the professor isn’t the best of readers; very slow, you know) …uhh…have you ever read The Horse and His Boy?
How about The Prince and the Pauper?
Hello thank you for the follow. I think the twits is the best :-)
Many thanks! Great to see you stop by.
Hello Sir. Nice to meet you and thank you for following my little site… that’s how I had the pleasure of meeting you. I’m looking forward to reading more and following your adventures.
~Andrea
Nice to meet you! The professor is looking forward to getting to know you better. Comment around and have fun!
Thank you for coming by my blog! Looking forward to following you here! :)
Absolutely! Will enjoy your comments!
Thanks for dropping by my blog so that I can check out yours! You are indeed an interesting one! Will be your regular reader now!
The professor is honored! Nice to have you here. But you must agree, I’m a professorish professor. ;)
If it weren’t for #5, we’d have been perfect friends. Now you’ll have to smell my coffee and chocolate breath if you want my feedback. Great stuff happening on your blog. I really like the way you have it set up and l’ve enjoyed your posts.
And that’s fine! The professor shan’t object. It’s really nice to have you here. And thank you. Do you feel a bit Punchyish? :)
Hi Professor! Thanks so much for reaching out to my blog! I love your humorous writing tone – looking forward to seeing your updates in my reader!
Warmest wishes, Julie
Thank you! It’s great to have you here.
Hello Professor, it is a pleasure to greet you, on your turf; whichever land that is in at the moment. :)
:D Great to see you here! Always the Punchy Lands. Always. :)
It sounds very entertaining!
Thank you! It’s very Punchyish, you know…
Greetings Professor! So glad to have met; now I look forward to observing your adventures.
Hello!! Me too, it’ll be great to have you along!
1,4, 8-9 can describe me too. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am most pleased to make your acquaintance, dear sir.
I must say, I love your attitude. :)
And I am most pleased to make your acquaintance, madam! (Thank you very much. Welcome to the Punchy Family.)
Hello! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Like your sense of humour, and randomness….I shall stop by for more.
Very nice meeting you! Yes, the professor is very random, and thanks for the compliments! (I love the title to your blog.)
Glad you approve of my blog title. ;)
:D
Looks like a fun blog. Thanks for dropping by and following “Honey.”
Thank you for dropping by! (It’s a Punchyish blog!)
Hi mysterious Professor. Haven’t figured you out quite yet.. thanks for following my blog. Stalking you as well now. :-) Heila
Nice to meet you, and welcome to the Punchy Family! That’s good. This professorish mind is a hard one to figure out. Any luck yet?
Very entertaining! And, yes, I find it hard to imagine anyone who would not like chocolate or coffee ;)
Thank you. But it is the professorish way, you know. I really can’t tell you why it is; it just is. :)
Hello professor. Thanks for following my blog.
Thank for stopping by!
Hello.i Really loved what you have written about you and ;
(8) I change often. Sometimes unexpectedly.i liked it ;)
Blessings
Yasmeen
Nice to meet you! Yes, that’s quite vexing, changing often, but it’s also rather neat. Welcome to the Punchy Family. Now, all you have to do is watch a Punchy skit!
Same here!
thanks for welcoming me and watching what i will see further!
Absolutely! It is the professorish way, you know…
:)
anyways according to the Islamic culture
Eid Mubarak
Shalom aleichem!
translate it into English please! And which language
I think it’s some sort of greeting in…Hebrew? (The professor isn’t sure about these things…)
Oh…..
Maybe the professor should just say ‘buongiorno’ which means ‘good morning’ in Italian. I studied Italian for a while, but languages and the professor never got on too well!
thank you for telling me one thing in Italian.
And it’s really all the professor can ever tell you… ;)
can’t you use”I” in place of Professor
Of course this professor could, but why would he?
It would have been better
But less professorish, you must agree.
agreed Professor
:D
And thank you for following my blog!
Absolutely! :D
Greetings from another blogger who has a fascination for history. As a bibliophile who enjoys turning on kids of all ages to books, I find historical fiction a wonderful tool for not only providing reading enrichment but discovering history. Thank you for liking my humble blog.
Hello! And welcome to the PL! History is just plumb fascinating. I enjoy Dumas’ historical fiction, do you?
Hello! Thank you for following my blog, Adventures in Fantasy. I am really looking forward to reading more of what you have to say!
Take care,
Emily
Hey, Emily! Welcome to the Punchy Family! Nice to have you aboard.
~ Prof VJ
Traveling around your blog I find myself a loss for words except LMAOROFLOL!
Funny stuff Prof.
Thanks for the follow.
Peace!!!
Many thanks! It can get quite Punchyish around here! Great to have you as a member of the Punchy Family!
I feel obligated to inform you that your blog has kept me entertained for over half of my workday. Almost no work has been done at my desk!
It’s great :)
Mariah, that means more to this professor than you could know!!! Thank you very much! I’m quite happy to have you as a member of the Punchy Family.
Thanks for dropping by my blog and commenting. I too, love to make up words and have a weird fascination for history. Hows about a cup of tea and a chat, hmm? :)
Absolutely! Any time!
I also love history. Fell in love with it in the 5th grade then studied it in college then grad school. Now I read history books. Sadly I don’t get the history channel. Life is so unfair. Nice to meet you!
Nice to meet you too! Life has a way of being vicious. But history books are great!
Dear Professor Duke,
I am glad to have made your acquaintance! Perhaps a virtual cup of tea, then.
That would be great! (Good to meet you too!) What kind would you like? How about cherry!
Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you’ll come back for another visit.
It all depends, dear! ;)
(I will!)
This is the greatest “About” page I have ever read!
:D I can’t tell you how pleased I am to hear that! Thank you!
But you know, Mr. Glover, ’tis absolutely true!
Love your “About” page! :)
Thank you, but it’s true! ;)
History is so repetitive. But you had me at #4. Love your “About Writing”. I can relate! Look forward to calling you Professor. One should always have a Professor in their life… Good day, Professor! (See, that’s fun to say.)
Hi! Welcome aboard. Great to have you!
I know. That ‘about writing’ thing is just plumb vexing, but we’ll get through it–somehow!
History is repetitive?! It never repeats, just gets very close. ;)
And, yes, that’s the thing about this professor. He just never feels quite like himself. Of course, maybe that’s a paradox. But that’s the way it is. Do you know what I mean?
(If you can, check out the video I posted today! :))
You made me chuckle about…professor…:D
To paraphrase the superior Rossini … Wagner has some wonderful moments, but bad quarter hours.
Thanks, dean, you always add so much to the discussions! ;)
Is your favorite ballet by Wagner?
Do his ballets inspire sleep?
His operas are HOURS UPON HOURS long… so I would think the ballet versions are similar.
Well, if they induce sleep, they’d be quite tolerable!
witty introduction, professor… thanks for visiting my blog. see you around! :)
BTW, I would prefer if you visit my other blog:
http://thebebekohchronicles.wordpress.com… thanks! :)
Thank you very much!
btw, i agree with banning “hot pink” (not my favorite color) and probably “caffeine” (drink only one cup a day)… but banning chocolates.. NO-NO!
That’s great. I think we can allow chocolate to remain just for you, since you’re good on the other two categories!
Nice to finally see you, Professor… :)
Hey!! How’ve you been?
I’ve been doing okay.. thanks for asking.. you?
Pretty good, I think. I do hate tests, you know.
pretty much everyone. :P
I wouldn’t worry about it though (unless it is really something to worry about… hmmmm!)
I think it might be. We should both worry, the sudden.
Hi Professor. thanks for the like and did I see follow?..Why no chocolate, I don’t care much for coffee, but no cocoa for soul? hmm. Anyways, I can relate to your “about wiritng” page, I do the same thing. Write, scrap, then write another.
Hmm…maybe you’re right. Cocoa does help the soul, doesn’t it?
Yes, is there any way out? Scarp…write…scrap…write…
Hi there, thanks for stopping by my blog! I’m looking forward to your posts :)
Ah, thanks for signing up! Looking forward to your comments!
Hi Mr.Professor
Thank you for following my blog :) I am honored !
Karina
No, Karina, I have been honored in your following and liking my blog! It’s great to have you!
Prof VJ
Thanks for visiting my blog conspicuously.
I, too, love history, and regret not choosing it for postgraduate studies. Regardless of the crumbling state of “Humanities” I think History will always remain The Subject to follow, learn, study, teach and write about.
And surely, Mark Twain is one of my favorite authors.
You are great, Rajiv! How could you not be? Twain and history–amazing!
Great introduction to yourself! History is never boring and its great that you love to learn! I look forward to getting to know you, Professor.
Thank you! History is rather entertaining. Welcome and stay around! :)
You sound like a very cool professor! With exceptionally good humour :)
Thank you! It is true, I’m not the usual professor type. I’m just far too professorish!
I am entertained by your “about me” and wouldn’t mind consuming your novel.
Ahh, thank you! As of now, I am busily writing. Keep checking in. Some of my writings will be posted here!
Thanks for visiting my blog! How about tea then, since you dislike coffee? I love tea houses. ;-)
Tea is the best! This professor loves tea!
Ahh. What is your favorite then?
I love superfruit green teas–especially cherry. How about you?
Even though you are a Mark Twain fan, I think I will stick around for a while…
Twain is the best! He had some great quotes about Jane Austen…
-_- I am aware of several of those quotes…
Aren’t they riveting?
AFter that description… how can we not follow?
Thank you! But you know, the professor is a strange person…
He’s tolerable, but irritating! :)
If you love your butler so much, the #5 must be Jack Daniel’s, as much about my knowledge about history…and thanks a lot for blogging.
I, too, hate both coffee and chocolate. I thought I was the only one. To me, calling something vanilla is not an insult.
I agree. It means something is quite tasty!
Interesting. I too love history – and can be a bit cynical. I think I’ll stop by again soon.
Good. Then this is the place for you!
You had me at “Mark Twain”.
That’s great! He is the BEST!!!
Yes, he is.
:)
Ah! I actually found another who shares my dislike for Chocolate? Can’t be… Now, coffee… that’s an entirely separate matter (it’s a MUST have… but some like coffee, some like tea; “I love the Java Jive…” sorry) Wonderful blog you have… I’m intrigued… Thank you!
You did! I prefer tea, but if you like Java Jive, I’m fine with that! Thanks for dropping by!
Congrats! You have been nominated for the Very Inspiring Bloggers Award! I hope you accept it! http://jrule.wordpress.com/2013/06/15/very-inspiring-blogger-award/
Keep up the awesome blogging!
Best,
Jill
Thanks!!!
Thank you for dropping by Malcolm’s Corner.
Sure!
Here’s another “thanks for stopping by my blog” for you :) No really, thank you. Your “About” is so extraordinary I am going to follow you :) I guess I like history but mostly just the wild west stuff like Buffalo Bill and Calamity Jane. Okay, maybe a little Civil War thrown in there since I live near Gettysburg. Have a great afternoon. Blessings!
THANK YOU, dear!!! I’m glad that you enjoy history too!
Very interesting blog! Keep it up. Thanks for the likes and the comment! (I enjoy history as well).
Of course! Thanks for visiting!
Very interesting blog Professor! Looking forward to your posts! And thanks for the visit to lifealight! :D
Sure! No problem!
I have!
Sir, I’m a bit lost. What do you have? Forgive this professorish mind, please.
No forgiveness called for Professorish… I have… as in I have checked out your blog, and also commented positively.
Many thanks!
No chocolate or coffee? Oh dear, Professor, those are my two favourite food groups! ;-)
Oh, dear! I suppose I’m offending a lot of people! Well, the truth is the truth. Don’t you think they should be banned?
*gasp!* never!! perish the thought!!!
trust me, you don’t want to meet me in the morning before I’ve had my coffee :D
Okay. In your case, we’d make an exception.
Professor – What fun reading through the ‘mix’ of commenters you have here. Thank you for visiting my blog recently. Did you say no chocolate and no coffee – that’s just un-American. I’m on my way to do some looking around.
Welcome! I wouldn’t describe myself as un-American…but, then again, I guess Jennifer would!!!
Hi Professor! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog :)
No problem! Thank you for your visit!
A interesting as you sound, I may have to leave you be, after all you don’t like hot pink, chocolate or COFFEE!!! Not good enough, and I was so going to press that follow button…
Just kidding, I can forgive you this time round. Jen :-)
Goodness! But what about next time around? Don’t you think that chocolate, coffee, and the color hot pink should be banned to a forgotten island far away? Gee, I thought everybody did… ;)
Now you’re pushing it boy. And totally unrelated, I bought myself another hot pink shirt yesterday. ;-}
You did that just to spite me, didn’t you? Let’s put our differences aside and just understand the facts: Coffee, chocolate, hot pink: bad! ;)
Yeah, blogging is fun! :)
Thanks for the follow. Hope you enjoy the stories of our journeys, both outer, and inner.
Cheers
Alison
Cheers!
History is fascinating… especially the conflicting versions. Your blog is intriguing. That’s why I prefer blogs to wedsites, the blogger always shines through. Thanks for your comments. Be well.
Conflicting versions ARE fascinating! Thank you very much!
Hello Professor VJ, nice to meet you. Thank you for visiting our blog, and for the ‘like’ on our about page.
Rewrite one of those damn novels! Unless of course you’re having too much fun blogging :)
Cheers
Alison
Sure! No rewrites! Only scraped in favor of another project! Besides, blogging is fun… :)
History is the condiment on time. You can live without it, but I have to ask, why!? I’m adding your blog to my “must read” list!
Thank you! History is great!!
Hi Professor!
Thanks for visiting my place!!!! We have two things in common: I like History and Mark Twain!!! I will stay here for a while!
Have a good day!
PD: I understand your feelings about your books…Keep trying!! :)
That’s fabulous. Mark Twain is the Man!
Will do!
I can relate to what you say about writing a book. At least you can finish a book. I can only write about 50 pages before a “better” idea dawns on my ADD brain and I start writing the new book, completely abandoning the old one. I now have nearly 40 unfinished drafts in my laptop. :) And I’m sorry my habit of smelling and watching books bores you. =)
Better ideas are the death of good ideas, right? Ha! What a paradox. But I do encourage to stick with a story–no matter what!
I wasn’t bored, just interested!!!!
You’re right. It is a paradox, huh? If only I could stick to one idea. :)
Don’t worry; you’ll find the right story, and you’ll finish it!!
Interesting bio…Professor! Thanks for visiting Redo…
You’re welcome! But the bio is quite real…
I’ve no doubt that it is! Continue with your “brand” of great, humorous encouragement.
Jeff
Thanks, Jeff. :)
Good stuff Professor! I enjoy history as well. What would you say your favourite time period is?
Hmm…that is a hard one. But I have to say…Ancient history. Bronze and Middle Ages. Maybe even the industrial age. What about you?
Very interesting times indeed!
I would say that I tend to enjoy reading and studying either Ancient Greek and Roman history or anything that pertains to the Old Wild West. Even geographically, I loved learning about the American Frontier.
Ooo, the Ancient Greek and Roman history IS amazing. Wild west is also!
Hello Sir,
Thanks for stopping by my blog & its really nice 2 meet u here..& 2 read abt ur world -“Punchy Lands” :)
No problem! Thank you for the visit as well!!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog, liking my photo, and sharing your thoughts! I appreciate it very much. You’re an interesting fellow – I look forward to following your posts. :-D
Thank you! I look forward to more of your photos!
~ Prof VJ (interesting fellow :))
Hello Professor VJ!
Thanks so much for the recent comment on my blog post about Insanity workouts.
This led me to your fascinating blog, which I am now following.
I look forward to reading more of your interesting works.
Happy blogging!
Nancy
Happy blogging to you as well!
History IS cool. But I’ve never experienced it without caffeine.
Perhaps in the Punchy Lands I could detox easier?
Great blog you have here.
Thank you, Andy!! I’m pretty sure that you COULD detox easier and FASTER in the Punchy Lands…though I’m not sure. Caffeine does seem to go with old, dusty books, doesn’t it?
Kindle and decaf. It’s not the same.
Absolutely! :)
